In the wake of questions about where his family has been staying during the statewide stay-at-home order, Gov. JB Pritzker on Friday said he’s been protective of his wife and children’s privacy, out of fear for their safety.(Snip) Pritzker had refused to answer questions on the issue until Friday, when he said his wife and daughter had been in Florida before he issued the stay-at-home order. The governor said they sheltered in place there until recently, when they returned home. He said they’re now at a “working farm” the family owns in Wisconsin, taking care of the horses there.

I would be surprised if he did not have some Democrat critics as well.

His "spokesperson" now says his family is in Chicago and that they just "visited" the farm in Wisconsin.. I guess someone finally told him that it was "bad optics" for his family to have fled to two states that are managing the virus better than Illinois.

i expect that every Blue State Governor who have destroyed their citizens lives ought to be very careful; folks who have nothing to live for, if they have everything taken away, want revenge. This is just a fact.

I have often posted that Democrats are born without the Math gene (thus the endless giveaways and debt). But now I see that they are doubly handicapped at birth...no Logic gene too.
Pritzker apparently can't comprehend that every reason he uses to explain the validity of why it was OK for HIS family to not stay quarantined in Illinois also would apply to any other husband/father concerned about their own family. Or is that "different" because such others aren't billionaires or Democrat Governors? (Perhaps in his mind he assumes he has such a more elevated level of Logic that he can perceive such case-differentiating nuances that others simply can't see.)

Democrat governors are tracing their constituency whereabouts, encourage snitches, so surely we should know where the governor and family are. I think we should send the IRS over to audit their tax returns. And the EPA, OSHO, Equal employment, ATF, and other agencies should be sent by to sent compliance with federal regulations. The police should be following these governors to ensure they maintain safe speeds, don't change lanes, anything that might endanger the public---all for the governor's safety.

He has his family stashed someplace safe, and they are probably enjoying themselves on the taxpayer's dime too. This governor is another who is disgusting. We have every right to know Governor, if you want the anonymity of a private citizen, resign the office. You are in the public eye, and your reaction to the critics tells me you are up to no good, and on the taxpayer dime as well.

Oh... so they WERE in Florida, where the governor just reopened the beaches - but THEN they went to Wisconsin, where the stay-hidden order was overturned by the Supreme Court so people can resume their lives - so the Prickster’s family could live free instead of being restricted in Illinois.
Typical libtards - do as I say, not as I do.

When you run for office, 'specially one as Governor, you give up much of the privacy that we peons used to have. Does the Emperor have to identify himself to sit in a restaurant?

Here's a man that reminds me of a whale. Didn't he send his family out of state to visit relatives. Do as I say not as I do. I hope you people in Illinois remember this when his term is up. Vote his big butt out of office.

Let's pretend that someone did threaten his family, are we also supposed to believe that this billionaire doesn't have security for his home? Not to mention the fact that the state police protect governors and their families. No one is buying this hypocrite's lie.
