Facebook controls as much as 80% of social media traffic. That means that it has the power to erase conversations, shift narratives, and control how people speak to one another. With 190 million users in the United States, the social network monopoly has more control over what people see than all of the media giants combined do. And now Facebook is putting some very troubling political activists in charge of its Oversight Board who will decide how it censors.(Snip)Only a quarter of the Oversight Board originates from the United States. That means three quarters of the censorship court comes from countries with no First Amendment.

Facebook is a useful idiot for the different groups. When the end result is finally reached, Facebook and the other useful idiots that have helped to destroy this great nation, will be deemed unnecessary and destroyed and will probably never understand what happened.

FB has banned lots of my "right wing fascist lunatic conservative Republican pro America" posts many times and they don't always tell you that they did. You can think that you've posted a comment, but they may show up on the feed that you read,....but they don't make it on any post to your friends or enemies can read. They're very clever and deceptive. When I commented about Elian Gonzales being kidnapped by automatic gun bearing FBI agents to hijack him back to fascist Cuba by order of Janet Reno a "fat ugly lesbian",...they didn't like that and wouldn't post it and banned me for 3 day.
We need more "right wing" social media that will post comments that the left wing fascists don't want to read or for you to read also.

My attitude towards MZ's social abomination was captured by a one-letter tweak to the name - been calling it 'fakebook' for years. This development calls for a further one-sound tweak, making the first syllables of its name and its creator's name rhyme. That's what he can do to himself for treating the human race as his own possession, to treat as he damn well pleases.

I really enjoyed Facebook when it first started. Renewed old acquaintances and kept up with my children and grandchildren who lived in other states. I am sorry to have to stop but I will no longer be on Facebook. It has changed so much, I won't miss it anyway. Bye, bye. old friend. Will miss what you could've, should've and would've been. It's been nice knowing you.

My take is the Facebook management is made up of wimpy leftists. They're probably happy as heck to have Dem benefactor Soros's acolytes on their board. I'm sure they feel vulnerable and are intimidated by the muslims.

Facebook sucks, anyway. But the problem and danger is that there are fewer and fewer ways in which the unfiltered truth can get out to the general population. We have little outlets like this one where we read articles and vent, but most people in this country are already missing major stories and events because the MSM simply doesn't report them and when they do report them they filter and twist the facts to fit the Democrat agenda. If the Democrats win back the Senate and, God forbid, the Presidency. They will never leave office and will finalize control of the "news" so that we will only hear of their crimes when someone whispers them in our ear while the government isn't watching, we hope.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to find that all of us who comment and post anti-Left things on the internet have our names on some lists being automatically logged and retained by those who control Facebook et.al. for later use once they finalize control of the country. But maybe I'm too paranoid... or not.

All platforms are now activist censors. Their searches no longer select based on your prior search histories. Instead the searches provide their views of diversity, including MSDNC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC -- all of whom I have never clicked, and will never click. I request that all platforms return to providing search results based on my interests, and not their political views.

I got put in facebook jail 4 or 5 times before I finally had enough and stopped using it...my 'crime'??? I was poking away at muslims...each and every time...it would have been ok to get after Christians, Jews, Trump and all things conservative, but not the 'religion of peace'...that wants to behead you if you say they are violent...when are the people going to wake up?
Armageddon...East vs West, muslims vs all other religions...

Facebook has banned me many times over my comments about various people and circumstances. I did not know that a bunch of foreign radicals were now in control of content. I even tried to temper down my comments so I would not "offend" anybody. This last time though, they just did not like my "nothing offensive conservative statements" and banned me again for 30 days (Their standard penalty to me). No more!

Hey, I got banned from Fakebook, and in order to get reinstated They wanted my driver's license, two other forms of ID, my SS number and my firstborn, among other things. But I drew the line at providing my driver's license. I got a lousy picture!

I understand the sentiment behind #8, but must stop at the last line. I don't want a search engine to think that it knows what my interests are, nor even to collect information for the purpose of trying to infer my interests.

OK, I have been saying Facebook is evil for years. NOW do you believe it?
Google is evil, too.

Facebook can't fail soon enough to suit me. I get more and more miserable with every encounter thereon. I cannot dictate to my dear friends who can't give up their addiction to it, so I just endure it.

#2 That is so wrong about Janet. Slick threw her under the bus.

Interesting that this site also doesn't permit certain topics, either.
Seth Rich is apparently verboten here.
