As countries across the globe are left grappling with the coronavirus crisis, most people are not satisfied with their leaders’ response to the outbreak, according to a new report. Citizens from just seven out of 23 countries rate their governments’ coronavirus containment measures as broadly positive, based on the “Global Crisis Perceptions” index released Wednesday by insights agencies Blackbox Research and Toluna. (Snip) China-#1; U.S.-#14.

Yeah, I bet.
On the 'score sheet,' it said "Vote High or die!'

Does anyone in the media - anyone at all - have a clue what happens in China when you disagree with your leadership, particularly with regards to the Wuhan virus? There are a host of examples if one in the media were inclined to look. It often involves disappearing acts or using windows as exits.

Stupefying. Maybe they should poll North Koreans while they're at it.
But I remember "polls" in Saddam's Iraq, too.
Just wow.

If you were in China and contacted in an 'impartial' poll - having been assured that the Party has no access to your response, what would you say?

This has to be the stupidest news article of the week.
CNBC should be ashamed of being a propaganda arm for the Peoples Republic of China. But instead they'll be happy to take a bow

Sure. Okay peasant, here's the question. Do you think your beloved Chinese Government Leaders have protected you throughout this Yankee-induced Trump Virus or do you and your family want to go to our beautiful newly somewhat disinfected maybe re-education camps?
I'll put that down as a Yes, our leaders have done well, right?

Wow isn't it amazing that a communist country that effectively allowed the spread of an epidemic got such a high score. I bet they even handed out surveys with only positive reviews as the choices.

I think the words "or else" were located somewhere within the poll in China. Citizens of free countries can report honestly without the fear of goons hauling them away in the night.

So let me guess, the question only had one answer, right? Something like this:
Do you agree that the Chinese government handled the response to COVID-19 well?
YES __ or YES ___

Why not then institute the Communist China model for dealing with internal criticism from a hostile "reporter" or any group or individual? CNN would disappear quicker than toilet paper on Walmart shelves.

Well Communist Dictators usually get re-elected with a vote of about 99.9%. There is a reason for that. So it would be hard to find anyone in China who would give a thumbs down to any action that the Communist Government in China took relating to the COVID-19 situation or any other, that is if he or she did not want to become an involuntary organ donor.

Yes, by all means, use the guidelines published by the same people who misinformed president Trump and his administration that the China Virus COVID-19 will kill 2.2 million people in America. Which brought the shutdown of our economy by Marxist Communist democrats as a dry run for when they ever get majority veto proof control of government. You know, the now not so famous CDC and NIH.
