As countries across the globe are left grappling with the coronavirus crisis, most people are not satisfied with their leaders’ response to the outbreak, according to a new report. Citizens from just seven out of 23 countries rate their governments’ coronavirus containment measures as broadly positive, based on the “Global Crisis Perceptions” index released Wednesday by insights agencies Blackbox Research and Toluna. Does anyone in the media - anyone at all - have a clue what happens in China when you disagree with your leadership, particularly with regards to the Wuhan virus? There are a host of examples if one in the media were inclined to look. It often involves disappearing acts or using windows as exits.

Well Communist Dictators usually get re-elected with a vote of about 99.9%. There is a reason for that. So it would be hard to find anyone in China who would give a thumbs down to any action that the Communist Government in China took relating to the COVID-19 situation or any other, that is if he or she did not want to become an involuntary organ donor.

Yes, by all means, use the guidelines published by the same people who misinformed president Trump and his administration that the China Virus COVID-19 will kill 2.2 million people in America. Which brought the shutdown of our economy by Marxist Communist democrats as a dry run for when they ever get majority veto proof control of government. You know, the now not so famous CDC and NIH.

Conservative syndicated columnist Jonah Goldberg slammed Kayleigh McEnany for her role as White House press secretary, calling her “grotesque” on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday.” After playing a clip of McEnany sparring with reporters, host Chris Wallace said, “Unmasking is pretty routine. It’s an effort by people in an administration to find out who a masked person is. It happens in the Trump White House. It happened I think 16,000 times the year before last. What’s a crime is leaking it, but unmasking isn’t. In addition to which, I have to say that if Kayleigh McEnany had told Sam Donaldson and me what questions we should ask, that would not have gone well.”

A forthcoming Australian scientific study concludes that the coronavirus causing the global pandemic contains unique properties suggesting it was manipulated in a Chinese laboratory and was not the result of a natural occurrence. Five scientists who conducted the study discovered an unusual ability of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, as the pathogen behind COVID-19 is called, to easily infect humans. The scientists said there is no sign so far that the virus can be found in other animals, including bats or the exotic wildlife sold for fresh meat at a market in the Chinese city of Wuhan....

As far back as late November, U.S. intelligence officials were warning that a contagion was sweeping through China’s Wuhan region, changing the patterns of life and business and posing a threat to the population, according to four sources briefed on the secret reporting. Concerns about what is now known to be the novel coronavirus pandemic were detailed in a November intelligence report by the military's National Center for Medical Intelligence (NCMI), according to two officials familiar with the document’s contents. (Snip) And it paints a picture of an American government that could have ramped up mitigation and containment efforts far earlier to prepare for a crisis poised to come home.

September 11, 2001 changed a lot of things for a lot of people. I’m no exception. Up until that monumental event I was only marginally political; I read the news, but hadn’t yet formed any sort of cohesive ideology. If anything, I was a fairly typical college student in the South, raised to respect tradition. A decade and a half after the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93, another monumental event would soon rattle my worldview and drastically alter my political trajectory. And then the planes hit the towers, and my obsession with politics began.

Horse trading is the oxygen of politics; it is how politicians are persuaded to care about things that otherwise would not make their radar. Not only does it happen all the time, but it is a core feature of our political system; representative government relies on this kind of political trading to ensure a plurality of interests and needs are satisfied. Bargaining isn’t corruption—it’s policymaking. (snip) It is not corruption. It’s the warp and woof of a democratic political system.
