Fifty years ago, women were still fighting for their legal right to an abortion. Now, it can all be arranged online.
A new service called TelAbortion connects women looking to terminate their pregnancies with a doctor who can virtually prescribe miscarriage-inducing pills to take at home, the New York Times reports.
And as the coronavirus lockdown stretches into its third month, women are looking to use the telemedicine option more than ever because of limited access to clinics, especially in conservative states.
Throughout March and April, TelAbortion — which is offered in 13 states — helped twice as many women obtain abortions than in January and February, the report states.
Well that's nice... Thanks for sharing!

If this gets any more convenient, somebody, somewhere, some day, will invent birth control methods that keep the egg from being fertilized and the "tissue" won't even have to be gotten rid of. Isn't technology in healthcare great!

Those drugs can be very dangerous. Does the woman get to telasurgeon when she’s bleeding to death on the floor of her bathroom?

That may be an eye opening experience when they have to witness the "product" of their home abortion. They say that it's only for women 10 weeks along. Women never lie, do they? Depending on how far along they really are it can also be dangerous if they are unassisted or do not have immediate access to a doctor or hospital.

Like I've said, women who do not plan to continue a pregnancy will do Anything to abort it. I don't judge either way. We are not privy to their lives.

Having miscarried at 9.5 weeks at home, I've never seen that much blood in my life. And yes I went to the ER. I almost passed out and was terrified. I can not imagine this being safe up to 10 weeks.

But you can't sterilize those welfare mamas who keep cranking out new little checks, because they have the right to choose, correct? Even though the taxpayers have to support them, no matter how many they have, and stiff the hospital without paying.

the whole reason we’re LOCKED INSIDE WHILE THE ECONOMY IS DESTROYED is because THESE PEOPLE claim they value human life!

I think you can get "do it yourself" instructions for abortion on you tube. And make yourself a bit on the side for products of conception.

All this proves is that if a woman wants to kill her child, she will find a way. Nothing new here.

Hopefully, it is not taxpayer funded.
What happens when the woman has problems and she is alone at home?

#8, similarly (?) men who do not want to continue their marriage will do anything to get rid of their wives. Why continue on for months waiting for a divorce (which will wipe you out financially) when you can do the fast, efficient and economical thing with the proper, modern weapons...er... I mean termination techniques.
I don't judge either way. We are not privy to their lives.

I nearly lost a child in the first trimester but luckily, I took a week of bed rest and the crisis passed. My greatest fear was miscarrying at home and seeing that tiny baby. How can anyone willingly have an abortion at home?
Anyone who says this is great for women and a right to be fought for and protected should be horsewhipped.
