New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio joined Bill Hemmer today on FOX News Channel. The mayor told Hemmer he does not expect New York City to open until July or August. March-April-May-June There will be nothing left in the city in July. This is a good time for New Yorkers to look for an exit. [Tweet] Mayor de Blasio already announced schools will be closed for the rest of the year. [Tweet] And to think it wasn’t that long ago that Bill de Blasio was virtue-signalling and downplaying the virus.

Comments:

I wonder if Broadway is going to sit still for this edict!

We should get a string quartet to start playin as this ship goes down. The residents are as brittle as ever and if there is no fresh air and open access, they will have to make a movie about it.

The communist Dems are now going for the jugular. Under the guise of being overly cautious, they are willfully destroying the cities and states they control. They WANT riots, looting, and burning. This is their big F.U. to Trump and all of us deplorables. They're going to burn down as much of it as they can. It's time to start organizing citizen militias. Our founders didn't just create the 2nd amendment so we could go deer hunting. THIS is why it's there. But we need to assemble into groups of like-minded patriots, as citizen militias. We must not let these communists destroy our country, because it is now clear that that is exactly what their real intent is.

Leftist and liberal Democrat Governors and Mayors may try to keep their economies shutdown indefinitely using all sorts of excuses, beyond reasonable public health concerns, including essentially claiming that President Trump should have waved a magic wand from the get-go to have biologically engineered, manufactured, and distributed billions of complicated and effective diagnostic tests to test the entire US population of 330 million people daily or weekly for a novel corona virus that nobody knew existed more then about three months ago, as a political strategy to hurt Trump’s chances of being re-elected in November, but the big question is, will enough prospective voters in their States allow them to destroy their economies and finances for partisan political purposes without crushing those Democrats in the November election?

DiBlasio has been hair-on-fire insane for weeks, there must be a mechanism to remove him somewhere in the law, the problem being there is no one sane in the city government at all to replace him. I escaped NYC in 1975 but I’m only 20 miles from Manhattan and my baseball team plays in Queens. He’s term limited out but he's not scheduled to leave until Jan 2022. When he was first elected it was — Bill who? , it was a stealth election, few ads and people not immersed in city politics didn’t even realize there was an election so he got around 17% of the 27% who voted, mostly city workers and unions , it didn’t help that like California the city has no opposition party. . We found out he and his wife are both the type of ramoras who attach themselves to city government early on and move from board to committee to board to staff etc endlessly doing nothing but collecting checks. He had been infesting city hall for anonymously for decades. It’s starting to come out, it might yet be killed, that he appointed his wife to head some type of board / agency whatever about homeless yada yada and she managed to disappear $850 Million in three years with no accounting and needless to say no results . Maybe that’s why he wants the shutdown to continue. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6760503/Bill-Blasios-wife-account-850m-given-mental-health-project.html

She’s regularly demonstrated her ability to handle the media’s gotcha questions and throw them right back in their faces. There's really nothing worse than neighbors ratting out neighbors. But that's what Democrats are urging citizens to do across the country. Over 86,500 people have reportedly died in the United States from the Coronavirus, and the fear generated by those deaths is driving the public policy debate. But that number is a dramatic overcount. Our metrics include deaths that have nothing to do with the virus. The problem is even worse as the Centers for Disease Control over counts even some of these cases and the government has created financial incentives for this misreporting. Relying on these flawed numbers is destroying businesses and jobs and costing lives. “The case definition is very simplistic,” Dr. Ngozi Ezike, director of Illinois Department of Public Health, explains.

Indeed, as the GOP powerhouse group points out, the Democratic frontrunner is the ultimate swamp creature. In Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf caught a whiff of his constituents working up the desire to step out and start living their lives once again. The idea of citizens exerting their freedoms and basking in the normalcy of liberty was too much for him to stand. On Monday he sent out a tweet storm, delivering a series of firm commands of how he intends to clamp down on those who might dare get the idea of doing things.

Pennsylvania Health Secretary Rachel Levine, the nation’s first openly transgender public health secretary, lashed out at a reporter — pleading, “please don’t misgender me” — during a media call on Tuesday after the reporter referred to Levine as “sir” multiple times. KDKA Radio talk show host Marty Griffin reportedly referred to Levine, who was born Richard Levine, as “sir” multiple times during the call. “What’s the end game, sir?” Griffin asked Levine. “Where do we get to the point where folks can be confident they can conduct business if they do it safely and there’s no time frame and there’s no window? Correct me if I’m wrong, sir — ma’am,” he continued.

There's really nothing worse than neighbors ratting out neighbors. But that's what Democrats are urging citizens to do across the country. And more often than not innocent Americans are getting caught in the crosshairs. Sheila Perez Smith tells the Todd Starnes Show that she was stunned when the police showed up at her home near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It just so happened that the little boy had recently been gifted a toy gun

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is happy to play rank politics with the federal coronavirus response. Exhibit A is the absurd $3 trillion “relief” bill she’s set for floor vote on Friday. It’s the first emergency bill written by one party with zero input from the other. Some Dems say it’s just an “opening bid,” but why waste time crafting 1,800 pages of legislation full of poison pills for the opposition? It seems Pelosi thinks virtue-signaling to her base is worth the trouble. The bill is packed with junk that has nothing to do with the pandemic or the economic chaos the response to it has created.

Barack Obama dissed President Trump’s coronavirus leadership, and ripped the Georgia men who shot Ahmaud Arbery, during a “virtual commencement” Saturday for the graduates of historically black colleges.“More than anything else, this pandemic has fully finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing,” the former president said in an online address aimed at the 27,000 graduating seniors of 78 schools.“A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge,” he added. It was a muted insult compared to the harsh language Obama used in a leaked phone call last
