Over the past couple of days I’ve lost literal count of how many people have written to me asking about the clinical trials in New York State regarding the use of Hydroxychloroquine.
The trials began last Tuesday.
In this column’s space and much more liberally on my Twitter feed I have attempted to stay up-to-date on the rapidly developing reports of the effectiveness of Hydroxychloroquine. I’ve also dedicated a considerable percentage of my radio show over the last two weeks highlighting these developments.
It’s strange that I should need to.

But sorry, People of Nevada and Michigan. You still don't get any because your Rat governors would rather you die than allow Trump to be proven right about something.

We'd all be getting a dose of this with our morning coffee and Captain Crunch had Trump only spoken out against it and we would have been back to work with a soaring economy by now.

It is unethical to withhold this drug from anyone who is critically ill, in order to hamper Trump!
If I were in states with governors who are trying to fight the cure, I would cross state lines to get care.

But, alas, no HCQ will be administered to Democrats, because Trump said it would be a game changer.
Right Governor Whitmer?

"Use of them in the USA is already demonstrating life-saving results, and it appears there will be no inventory problem in prescribing them due to the generosity (not greed) of “big pharma.”
Madcow's head will explode. Will MSNBC take her off the air for screaming misleading and damaging information during a crisis? Did any people refuse life saving treatment because of her partisan screed? How many deaths is she responsible for?
How about the other networks that have been pulling away from the authoritative information in the President's news conferences to spew their misleading opinions?

I really am hoping that this is going to be the breakthrough treatment, and it does appear that in the same way that in it's normal application it is a preventative for malaria, it may also be a preventative for Wuhan flu. THAT would be an even bigger deal than the treatment because it would let life and business get rapidly back to normal if we had a preventative medicine.
The apparent lack of bad results anywhere is quite encouraging. I am not yet prepared to jump on the bandwagon which is starting to say that this is "the cure". Viruses are nasty beasties, not easily defeated most of the time. But it continues to look promising. Let's hope that nothing derails this apparent good news.
And #5 is right, the Enemedia talking heads and Dem pols will be saddened greatly if this disease is beaten. They so hate Trump that they would be happy to see millions die, if it were to serve their horrible political purposes.

Expect the single study out of New York to contradict a world of evidence. Have they hired Michael Man to write software to "hide the decline" in deaths yet?
"Would they do that" isn't the question; "would they do that again" is hardly a question.

When the dust settles, this and other drugs will have cut the death rate in this country to that of a bad flu season. A lion's share of the political credit should go to Trump for decisive leadership and for cutting red tape etc. Will he get that credit? Eventually, maybe years from now, but in the short run look for the desperate Democrats to blame him for any deaths that do occur and possibly to impeach him for his actions in this.

Who really knows at this point if this particular drug will work. Obviously President Trump is a fan, and hopes that the drug will save a lot of lives. One thing is for sure, if this drug does work, a lot of Democrat politicians and excessive regulation bound DC “Deep State” bureaucrats who have opposed using this drug are going to look like fools again.

Mrs. Lakerman takes the drug for rheumatoid arthritis. She called the pharmacy this morning to reserve a refill, and the pharmacist said they would do so, and that they were expecting a large shipment today.
In so many words - the drug is being widely prescribed here in Erie, Pa, and we have a handful of cases of Kung Flu.
If DJT was correct in pushing the FDA bureaucrats, he deserves a Nobel Prize in Medicine.

FDA approved the treatment this morning. Even better, the drugs for a full course of treatment costs about 30 bucks.

Please seek out and watch the excellent Rudy Giuliani interview with the doctor in NY state, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, who is one of the pioneers of the HCQ "cocktail" - perhaps the first, I'm not sure. Rudy interviewed the doctor on his Common Sense podcast on March 29.
Dr. Zelenko started using the cocktail I think last Tuesday March 24 and has already saved between 450 and 500 patients from hospital admission and defeated their virus (the podcast splash screen incorrectly states it as 699 but by the end of today he will probably reach that number).
The doctor was extremely easy to understand by a layperson - Rudy called him a natural teacher, which he is.
And best of all (sorry Big Pharma) the cocktail's cost is about $20. It's a combination of zinc supplements, hydroxychloroquine (the key ingredient that allows the zinc to work - without it, the zinc cannot get into the cells at needed level), and finally a ZithroMax pack of antibiotics to prevent the frequent associated bacterial infections which often bring the critical patients down.
Dr. Zelenko's goal is to defeat enough of the virus in patients in high risk, who would otherwise go critical, to keep their symptoms manageable and prevent their hospital admission. They still have a sickness to weather, but it keeps them from dying. In essence, it appears to move them into the category of those who become ill from the virus but not critical.
Well worth watching, and sharing!
