Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” New York Mayor Bill de Blasio accused President Donald Trump of not lifting “a finger to help” with the coronavirus breakout.De Blasio said, “The truth is, and New Yorkers and all Americans deserve the truth, it’s only getting worse. April and May are going to be a lot worse. Right now, we are a third of the cases in the country. That’s going to get worse. We’re about two thirds or more of the cases in New York State. That’s going to get worse. But the president of the United States is from New York City, and he will not lift a finger

You mean Pres. Trump's not driving over to your house to pick your sorry backside up so you can still go to the GYM on the other side of town every morning? With the exception of your sordid jurisdiction, most people are taking care of their own towns from the local and state authorities down to the people working at the stores, trucking, and healhcare responders. Just shaddup.

You don’t have to be a genius to figure out that the leftist and liberal Democrat Governors and Mayors all over the country with out of control cities and States are getting ready to blame President Trump, the Republicans, and the Federal Government for the Chinese corona virus situation. Those are the same Democrat politicians who support the Democrat “open borders” initiatives, the Democrat Sanctuary Cities concept, and who have refused to cooperate with the Federal Government in all common sense enforcement of the immigration laws. That Democrat incompetence and political corruption has caused the unbelievable human density levels in the big cities, to where it is almost impossible to walk on the streets of cities like New York without coming within six feet of a stranger. Again using New York City as an example, the current illegal alien population from all over the world there long ago passed the million mark, with that population mostly, if employed, working in very low wage and unskilled jobs who are bound to be the first people laid off from work, the true identities of most of those foreign origin peoples are generally unknown to the local and State governments that do not have a clue who most of those foreign origin people really are, where they actually came from, or their medical conditions. The residential neighborhoods where those foreign origin peoples live are unbelievably dense and once the corona virus catches hold in those areas there will no way to stop it from spreading uncontrollably.

I visited NYC twice in the 70's. Mostly to see the famous landmarks. I found too many of the people living there were rude and arrogant. DeBlasio is the head of that puss filled pimple. Paris is second on my list. Many things to see, too bad they have people living there.

Yet more proof that blind adherence to ideology turns people into blithering idiots. The leftist attacks on this president in the midst of this epidemic are beyond reprehensible. They are bordering on being criminal. The leftists work to create panic, division, contention and confusion while the president attempts to foster the exact opposite. Trump is a lot of things but in this situation he is leading as well as anyone could expect and orders of magnitude better than his enemies.

ANYONE blaming the President should do some research on the phrase 'Certificate of Need!' This a a mechanism that many States have to use to authorize and allow all things hospital and medically related. Authorization is by the State. So, look to your Governors for an explanation. (and ask them)

America's FDA, and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, are dragging their feet on approving a drug that provides very strong positive effect on COVID19. (snip) Fauci is taking the position that he and the US government should not approve Hydroxychloroquine because it might not be safe and might not be effective, based on his smear of high-quality science as mere anecdote.

Vice President Biden is due Monday to begin giving briefings on the coronavirus crisis so as to appear like a shadow president. There’s just one problem. Sleepy Joe, as President Trump likes to call him, has been upstaged by none other than Andrew Cuomo. It seems the doughty Democratic governor of New York has emerged as a star, while Mr. Biden is still getting a studio set up in his home. Maybe Mr. Cuomo is the one whom the Democrats should run against Mr. Trump. He has been out there every day of late with detailed updates, wise asides, references to his time in Washington, and commentary on the Constitution.

Biden was instead stuck in a makeshift studio in his Delaware home, webcasting his remarks with a low-quality personal computer camera against a straight-out-of-YouTube black backdrop and two American flags. He warned about the coronavirus contagion. He offered an olive branch to Bernie Sanders. Then, despite two consecutive weeks of smashing victories,
