After Getting Drunk and Being
Found in a Hotel Room with
Meth and an Alleged Gay Escort,
Andrew Gillum Heads to Rehab

Original Article

Well, maybe this was a predictable result of what appears to be quite a night for former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum. He was found in a hotel room last week totally drunk and incapable of speaking with police. Oh, and did we mention that there were bags of meth and reported gay escorts in the room as well? Yes. The other man involved was reportedly suffering a drug overdose.

Comments:

Think about it - - nearly half of all Flori-duh voters wanted this sick pervert to be their governor. Can demonrat voters get any creepier?

Andrew Gillum was probably doing Meth and alcohol while doing what gays do? He choose the lesser of two evils to go to rehab for: Alcohol, rather than a hard drug called Meth?

Hope he does well in rehab. Hope he has the common sense to leave the elected public service sector. If he does not, his record is fair game and no one should trust him. Rehab is often unsuccessful. Long term lack of relapse is the only reliable indicator of stability.

Missouri Republican Sen. Roy Blunt announced Monday plans to retire from the Senate, saying he will not run for re-election in 2022. Blunt made the announcement in a video posted on YouTube. Blunt said in a video that "after 14 general election victories — three to county office, seven to the United States House of Representatives, and four statewide elections — I won’t be a candidate for reelection to the United States Senate next year." The 71-year old Blunt, a member of Senate GOP leadership, said that he will finish out his current term, which runs through the end of next year.

The White House is bracing for a worsening situation at the U.S.-Mexico border as President Biden faces criticism from both political parties over the influx of migrant children. Biden's No. 1 priority remains the coronavirus pandemic. But the flow of asylum-seekers threatens to overwhelm the country's immigration system after it was overhauled by former President Donald Trump in ways that irritated Democrats. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was dispatched this week to brief reporters at the White House, repeatedly blaming Trump's administration for the country's immigration predicament and warning it would "take time" to undo its "cruelty."

Throughout his presidential campaign and continuing since taking the White House, Joe Biden has promised a transparent approach to press and public relations. Yet in recent weeks, his administration has closed off — at least for now — several key avenues via which the press and public have for years gained a modicum of transparency, accessibility and accountability from the White House. These moves to curb press and public access come as President Joe Biden himself has at times appeared to be struggling with the public demands of his job.

Merrick Garland is finally getting his day before the Senate. Garland, President Joe Biden’s pick to be attorney general, will appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday for the first day of his confirmation hearings, scheduled to continue through the week. The hearings were delayed amid some partisan squabbling while Democrats and Republicans struggled to come to a power-sharing agreement in the evenly divided Senate. Those delays came after Garland was denied any hearings at all in 2016, when former President Barack Obama nominated the centrist judge to the Supreme Court following the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, the conservative stalwart.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
