Sanders Criminal Justice Adviser
Caught Plotting Violent Jailbreak

A former adviser on criminal justice issues to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) was plotting a violent prison escape, stashing guns and ammunition inside a soon-to-be-opened prison, authorities said this week. Nashville police said Wednesday that Alex Friedmann, a prison reform advocate who helped shape the Vermont senator's criminal justice agenda, spent months plotting an escape for inmates of the city's detention center. Sanders worked with Friedmann to develop positions on criminal justice in the lead up to his 2016 presidential campaign—positions Sanders still touts.

Looks like some of the Bernie Bros may be planning for a Red October surprise. The closer Uncle Bernie gets to being a czar, the more his and his followers' inner Bolshevik starts to emerge.

What do you expect from a man like Bernie who really doesn't mind taking God out of society? He is also a man who supports the Democrat's version of abortion. If you view the innocent baby in slaughter terms of abortion, a Bernie supporter will have no problem supporting intimidation of adult people.

Why should anyone be surprised at this Sixties throwback? He is lockstep ideologically with the likes of Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dorn, the Chicago Seven, the Sybianese Liberation Army, and all the other violent denim-clad Marxist radicals in that turbulent time. I have no doubt he inspired these present kooks with stories of fighting against “The Man.” He is personally responsible for the political violence we’re seeing. Of course he doesn’t condemn it, he encouraged it all the way!

I submit every prison facility in the world has guns and ammo stored or even hidden away within the confines. Every last one. So on the face of it this bit of speculation is most likely a smear piece. that's how I read it. I have NO plans to vote for or support Sanders in the election.

Nice try you commie jackasses but patriots in America have fought long and hard to maintain our freedom and we will not roll over that easily, or at all. Why do Bernie and his supporters love violence? I guess we could travel in the wayback machine to the early 1900's in Russia and ask the Bolshies why they love violence. Those were also leftist Jews who decided to rush headlong into destruction and murder the entire royal family, and send their fellow Russians into a form of slavery for over 7 decades. Leftist anything is absolutely wrong, and decent people worldwide do not want it. The reason Bernie is so enamored of the Soviet system isn't because he wants to be czar. For it was his ideological ancestors who murdered a czar and his entire family then buried them in the forest to rot until they were found in the 90's. Now, he wants to be another Lenin or Stalin and lead America to destruction, just like his ideological ancestors have done throughout time.

Here we are in the midst of a once-in-a-half-century pandemic, with the economy flattened, millions of people unemployed, and unrest on the streets of our cities. And President-elect Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to reenter the Paris climate accord. President Trump kept his "put America first" promise and pulled the United States out of this Obama-era treaty. Biden wants us back in. Why? Paris is an unmitigated failure. You don't have to take my word for it. National Geographic, a supporter of climate change action, recently ran the numbers and admitted in its recent headline: "Most countries aren't hitting 2030 climate goals."

Teachers unions have been instrumental in keeping American schools online during the pandemic. But some have escalated their positions on reopening to include an array of social justice demands. A set of demands from teachers unions in July, which addressed how to safely reopen schools amid a pandemic, was criticized by The Wall Street Journal editorial board as “political extortion.” The board argued that unions were taking advantage of a health crisis to advance their own ideological agendas and to eliminate competition from charter schools.

It reminds me of that old saying which I think was from Einstein, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” Polling, at least the old-school style, is over. Implications of the Flynn Pardon 11 replies

President Trump granted a pardon to Michael Flynn, his former national-security adviser, today. Flynn had pled guilty to lying to FBI agents about conversations, during the 2016 transition, with the Russian ambassador about sanctions. Flynn’s pardon should bring to an end one gross violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers, even as it gives rise to groundless accusations of another. Although Flynn had pled guilty, the circumstances of the case had raised serious concerns about whether the government had proceeded properly. The FBI, for example, questioned Flynn even though it did not appear he had violated any law. In May, Attorney General William Barr ordered the case dropped.
