Sanders Criminal Justice Adviser
Caught Plotting Violent Jailbreak

A former adviser on criminal justice issues to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) was plotting a violent prison escape, stashing guns and ammunition inside a soon-to-be-opened prison, authorities said this week. Nashville police said Wednesday that Alex Friedmann, a prison reform advocate who helped shape the Vermont senator's criminal justice agenda, spent months plotting an escape for inmates of the city's detention center. Sanders worked with Friedmann to develop positions on criminal justice in the lead up to his 2016 presidential campaign—positions Sanders still touts.

Looks like some of the Bernie Bros may be planning for a Red October surprise. The closer Uncle Bernie gets to being a czar, the more his and his followers' inner Bolshevik starts to emerge.

What do you expect from a man like Bernie who really doesn't mind taking God out of society? He is also a man who supports the Democrat's version of abortion. If you view the innocent baby in slaughter terms of abortion, a Bernie supporter will have no problem supporting intimidation of adult people.

Why should anyone be surprised at this Sixties throwback? He is lockstep ideologically with the likes of Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dorn, the Chicago Seven, the Sybianese Liberation Army, and all the other violent denim-clad Marxist radicals in that turbulent time. I have no doubt he inspired these present kooks with stories of fighting against “The Man.” He is personally responsible for the political violence we’re seeing. Of course he doesn’t condemn it, he encouraged it all the way!

Die hard (literally) Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson tried to wipe out the Republican congressional baseball team with a rifle. Sanders' criminal justice advisor Alex Friedmann, being held by the Tennessee Department of Corrections on $2.5 bail is a real piece of work that needs to go back to prison and stay there. Nashville is the city of my birth and upbringing. My family still lives there. Bernie's advisor would have sprung free many violent criminals who might have threatened my family and friends there. Lock Friedmann up and throw away the key. FTA: "Friedmann was arrested last month after he posed as a construction worker, entered the Nashville detention center, stole keys that could open 100 doors, and made a diagram of the jail's layout. He attempted to eat the diagram during his arrest." Friedmann was also sneaking loaded guns into the not yet opened prison. He should spend the rest of his worthless life in ... let's see ... a private prison. Bernie's political philosophy is essentially criminal. Why wouldn't he attract scads of criminal losers looking for freebies?

$2.5 million bail for this hardened criminal and Sandernista. Here's another reason for law abiding citizens to keep and bear firearms. Sanders attracts the worst of the worst. He's not a socialist; he's a communist. Communism is socialism at gunpoint. Why do you think the Left want to disarm American citizens? So they can use their weapons against their political opponents.

I submit every prison facility in the world has guns and ammo stored or even hidden away within the confines. Every last one. Why do Bernie and his supporters love violence? I guess we could travel in the wayback machine to the early 1900's in Russia and ask the Bolshies why they love violence. Those were also leftist Jews who decided to rush headlong into destruction and murder the entire royal family, and send their fellow Russians into a form of slavery for over 7 decades. Leftist anything is absolutely wrong, and decent people worldwide do not want it. The reason Bernie is so enamored of the Soviet system isn't because he wants to be czar. For it was his ideological ancestors who murdered a czar and his entire family then buried them in the forest to rot until they were found in the 90's. Now, he wants to be another Lenin or Stalin and lead America to destruction, just like his ideological ancestors have done throughout time.

You’ve invested $400 million dollars in the biggest, fastest, shiniest campaign toy that money can buy. You’ve moved from zero to competitive in all the polls. But for far too much of the time on that debate stage, you still wound up looking and sounding like a guy who just fell off the pumpkin truck. We know, you’re a billionaire, and super smart, to boot. You are accustomed to people telling you that you’re the brightest, richest, funniest and best-looking guy in the room. I get it.

Donald Trump's rule changes the so-called "public charge" rule that withholds green cards from immigrants dependent on government services. Federal immigration law says that immigrants desiring permanent legal status can be denied if they are likely to become a "public charge." Previously the government defined "public charge" as anyone receiving cash benefits. Those getting food stamps or housing assistance were exempt. The rule change means that green cards will only go to those who are free of dependency on government.

It was tragic when it became apparent that the FBI, CIA and other government agencies abused their powers to interfere in the 2016 presidential election and try to help Hillary Clinton win. Now it is farce that some of the same agencies are up to their old tricks again in the 2020 election. The evidence of foul play comes via two of the strangest newspaper stories ever published.

LAS VEGAS – Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is the winner of the Nevada caucuses, according to a Fox News projection. But rival Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden sought to portray himself as Sanders' chief rival as results showed him in second place. "You all did it for me now, now we go to South Carolina and I’m going to take this back!" Biden told supporters gathered at a union hall in North Las Vegas, Nevada. After Biden suffered disappointing fourth and fifth place finishes in the overwhelmingly white Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary, a stronger perfomance in Nevada's much more diverse electorate was a necessity for the former vice president.

If a giant object looks like it's going to slam into Earth, humanity has a few options: Hammer it with a spacecraft hard enough to knock it off course, blast it with nuclear weapons, tug on it with a gravity tractor, or even slow it down using concentrated sunlight. We'll have to decide whether to visit it with a scout mission first, or launch a full-scale attack immediately. Those are a lot of decisions to make under existential duress, which is why a team of MIT researchers have come up with a guide, published February in the journal Acta Astronautica, to help future asteroid deflectors.

When President Trump ticks off his accomplishments since taking office, he frequently mentions his aggressive makeover of a key sector of the federal judiciary — the circuit courts of appeal, where he has appointed 51 judges to lifetime jobs in three years. In few places has the effect been felt more powerfully than in the sprawling 9th Circuit, which covers California and eight other states. Because of Trump’s success in filling vacancies, the San Francisco-based circuit, long dominated by Democratic appointees, has suddenly shifted to the right, with an even more pronounced tilt expected in the years ahead.

Can this really be all there is? No, I'm not lamenting the pointlessness of existence. I'm expressing despair over the state of the race to decide on a Democrat to face President Trump in November.
