Though predictable, one of the most frustrating things about how Democrats have behaved since 2016 is their penchant for undermining election results simply because they don’t like the outcome. They of course cranked up the “illegitimate” rhetoric within moments of Donald Trump’s November 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton. They’ve kept it up ever since by way of perpetuating the myth of Trump/Russia collusion even after it was determined that there wasn’t any.

Comments:

Why has the focus always been on Donna Brazen's "cheating" - - when it was The Beast who accepted and used the stolen questions?

It's sad that Fox news has resorted to picking up cast-off CNN contributors. It's really bad when even CNN can't stand her underhanded behavior.

Brazile is beautiful and charming, but I can't look at her (on Fox) without thinking about how she fed Hillary questions prior to a debate, cheating beyond words!!!!!!!...........how she is in a position to comment on anybody's anything!!!!! is way beyond me. And as to Juan Williams............ THAT is the problem with Fox & Friends and a few other Fox programs, and I suspect that the rest of the panels are told on pain of death never ever to bring up any of Brazile's "inconsistencies" or Juan's talking point lies.

The job of Brazile, Juan Williams, Geraldo, et. al. is to provide a foil to the sane people on Fox. They say things that allow people much smarter and much more informed than them to point out how wrong and absurd their comments and viewpoints are when compared to reality.

This silly old cow was given Juan Williams spot on The Five a few days ago and, believe it or not, was worse than Juan. I wish they would drop the idea of a liberal token in their midst and the discussion would be a lot smarter.

As much as Juan is really irritating.....#7 has it exactly right. Can't swat down, smash and burn the left's foolish ideas if nobody will toss them out there, as a true believer (fool), to be swatted, smashed and burned.

Deval Patrick ended his long-shot Democratic presidential campaign after failing to gain traction during his last-minute bid in a crowded field of candidates. “The vote in New Hampshire last night was not enough for us to create the practical wind at the campaign’s back to go on to the next round of voting. So I have decided to suspend the campaign, effective immediately,” Patrick said in a statement Wednesday. Patrick, who was the first black governor of Massachusetts, holding office from 2007 to 2015, announced his candidacy in November

FBI Director Christopher Wray said Wednesday that the FBI agents involved in the surveillance of Carter Page who are still at the bureau have been referred to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility for possible disciplinary action. During a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Wray noted that most of the FBI officials who oversaw Crossfire Hurricane, which involved surveillance of Page, have left the bureau and are no longer subject to disciplinary review. He said the FBI personnel who worked on that probe and who still have jobs at the FBI are mostly line-level agents.

The former New York City mayor is now in a dead heat for third place with top-tier candidate, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who also received 11 percent support. Biden, meanwhile, continues to lead the Democratic field with 28 percent followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) at 16 percent.

The front of the New York Times Sunday Styles section was a microcosm of self-absorbed journalists indulging themselves over the holidays: “The Pall Before Christmas.” It was written by Shawn McCreesh, previously an editorial assistant to Maureen Dowd and who here shares Dowd’s contemptuous irreverence toward Trump

According to a report from Politico, Nadler went home to New York to handle a family emergency — the details of which were not initially disclosed — and was expected to return to Washington either late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, the hearing went on as scheduled, led instead by Democratic Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin.

As the U.S. presidential race began roaring to life in 2016, authorities in the former Soviet republic of Latvia flagged a series of “ suspicious” financial transactions to Hunter Biden and other colleagues at a Ukrainian natural gas company and sought Kiev’s help investigating, according to documents and interviews. The Feb. 18, 2016 alert to Ukraine came from the Latvian prosecutorial agency responsible for investigating money laundering, and it specifically questioned whether Vice President Joe Biden’s younger son and three other officials at Burisma Holdings were the potential beneficiaries of suspect funds.

This week’s Liberal Media Scream features celebrated New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman declaring that only impeaching President Trump will preserve the nation. In a “Point-CounterPoint” segment on CBS’s Sunday Morning, Friedman declared: “President Trump not only should be impeached, he must be impeached, if we’re to preserve America as we’ve known it.” Responding to Eliana Johnson of the Washington Free Beacon, who argued against impeaching Trump, Friedman began his counterpoint: “President Trump not only should be impeached, he must be impeached, if we’re to preserve America as we’ve known it.

There are people for whom the very fact that President Trump breathes in oxygen and breathes out carbon dioxide constitutes an impeachable offense. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who is running the impeachment inquiry that got approved by the House Thursday, is one of these people. Is he going to run a fair inquiry? What are you, crazy? As the “impeach-him-for- breathing” crowd would reply, where in the Constitution does it say Schiff has to be fair?

Republicans have had trouble mounting an effective defense on President Trump’s Ukraine call, because they haven’t put down their stakes on the most defensible ground. Complaints about House Democrats’ less-than-transparent impeachment process, though justified, were clearly perishable once Democrats adopted more regular proceedings. The contention that Trump’s phone call to the Ukrainian president was “perfect” was never going to withstand scrutiny. The line that there was “no quid pro quo” has become steadily less plausible

President Trump should want a rapid impeachment process. The Ukraine story hasn’t been good for him, and there is only one way out — to get impeached, and the sooner, the better. The president obviously hates the idea of being impeached. He thinks it’s unfair and is raging against the process with every political and legal argument his team can muster

Should Utah Sen. Mitt Romney attempt another shot at the White House — but this time on the independent ticket, with former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg as his running mate? The hypothetical Romney-Bloomberg ticket would give millions and millions of independent and moderate Democratic and Republican voters stuck in the middle a solid choice for president, which doesn’t exist now between democratic-socialist Bernie Sanders and current White House occupant and Twitter-flamethrower President Donald Trump. That’s what author, Maryland business executive and former U.S. Senate candidate Neal Simon wrote in his article he shared with Lee Lonsberry on KSL NewsRadio's show Live Mic.

On Tuesday, news broke that the Queen had banned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from marketing the “Sussex Royal” brand. Friday morning, another story broke, saying that Meghan was whining about this because she and Harry had already invested money in selling themselves. Also on Friday, the Queen won and Meghan backed down. Queen Elizabeth comes from a generation that holds that you can’t eat your cake and have it. In other words, when you make choices, you have to take both the benefit and the burden of that choice. Meghan Markle, on the other hand, is a child of the Veruca Salt generation.

The critter, which was discovered in Brunei on the island of Borneo, now has the scientific name Craspedotropis gretathunbergae. NEW ORLEANS—Standing in line at the hardware store on the edge of the French Quarter one December Monday, I overheard the cashier talking to a regular customer about manhole covers that had exploded just before dawn that morning a couple of blocks away. This was just the latest addition to a cluster of troubling events. In the previous few days, a turbine powering the low-lying city’s storm-drainage system had also exploded, unrelated water-main ruptures had flooded neighborhoods on opposite sides of town,
