At a brief training the Sunday before the Iowa caucuses, Iowa Democratic Party officials told the volunteers tasked with staffing a telephone hotline system to arrive Monday morning with books, puzzles and games — they were unlikely to be busy for hours.
But throughout the day and into the night, the phones rang almost constantly in the so-called boiler room, where about 50 phone stations had been set up in a security-encased call center at the downtown Des Moines Iowa Events Center.
On the other end of the phone lines were dozens of precinct leaders and county party chairs from across the state who could not download or log into

I'm guessing that the app was written by coding coal miners.

Good article. Nice to see a leftist rag commit journalism for a change.

It sounds like a case of "Imagine your mother downloading the app."

Is there any reason to think the Democrats, given the chance again, would run the country any better?
I think not.

Now imagine a call into the Democrat run National Health Care System while you are experiencing symptoms of a heart attack.

Deep into the article you hear about the media - especially CNN - flooding the call center demanding to know results. Until now the media tried to pin the chaos on a handful of Trump supporters making phone calls.

I don't doubt these poor volunteers at the headquarters are well-meaning people, but it must really hurt to realize just how screwed up your leadership is .....Nah, they're Democrats.

After working in IT for years I have a dim view of "coders" that promise a leftist outcome for their effort. In reality these characters are simply in a paid competition for dumbest idiots of the season. Understand they may not be the dumbest idiots yet - but, they are playing in the Finals.

Let's concentrate folks. This app was handled by the wife of Mayor Pete's campaign manager. The fact that it disrupted the whole caucus which should have given a big boost to Bernie is more than suspicious especially when you find out that Mayer Pete worked in military intelligence and worked at finding terrorist financial networks and here is the important part DISRUPTING them.
Nothing to see here folks move along. Are you kidding me? How does cheatin Pete go from 4th to a star? Sorry this is another fish that smells to high heaven. Oh and by the way cheatin Pete also has money invested in this totally imcompetent or maybe not outfit. Maybe they did exactly what Pete wanted them to do.
I suggest that the feds require paper and pencil ballots for all federal elections if they want to clean up this mess. Let's see if the democrats will go along with that one. Since they are fighting voter ID so vehemently this is the least that could be done.

There has never been a computer program that is bug-free when it is put into full use. That's when the bugs really come to light, and fixing them can take longer than you think. The Iowa Dems should have had a full-blown rehearsal at least a month before the caucuses to test the system - with the actual people who would use it.

They say at least one of their "coders" was a Starbucks cook.
Dems "learn to code" and they, as per their history, destroy everything they touch.
You can't make up fictional stories any weirder and more damning for the Demonrats than the truth.

About all those prank calls that clogged the lines? This article (and the article it links to) do NOT mention the true cause of the prank calls, which is the fact that the imbeciles allowed their support line number to be easily accessed by the public, a very serious mistake for a political party.
One can argue all day about the mysterious failures of the app itself, but there are zero excuses for this number getting out so quickly. And the article makes it clear that they didn't have pass codes for the callers (as is typically done) because "the number was supposed to be private."
It is to laugh.

Last night on Greg Gutfeld's show, Kat Timpf said, (I'm paraphrasing her) 'it was democrat against democrat and President Trump still won.'
