Biden getting down and dirty is not a good look, although those of us who are old enough know he is a pro. He was beyond ugly when he headed up the Senate Judiciary Committee. He has an ugly soul. Sounds as though he is panicked and unleashing it now.

“At this moment, the American people are crying out for something completely different from this classic Washington style of politics,...” Um, Pete, Americans already have something completely different from the classic Washington style politics and his name is President Donald Trump. And that’s the big problem for the demonrats.

Hit submit too soon. And if South Bend residents now have better jobs, higher income and better life in their city, it is due to President Trump and not to Petey Buttplug.

A majority of New Hampshire Democrats said in a new poll that they would rather a "giant meteor strikes the Earth, extinguishing all human life" than see President Trump reelected. The University of Massachusetts Lowell survey of 400 Democratic voters asked which candidates they would support in the state's primary Tuesday, with former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) tying for first place at 23 percent support. But voters were also asked in the online survey conducted by YouGov: "Which of the following outcomes would you prefer occur on November 3, 2020? Donald Trump wins re-election or

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — Republican Sen. Susan Collins says she's getting death threats after her vote to acquit President Donald Trump at his impeachment trial, saying three of them were deemed “credible” and are being investigated. Collins made the disclosure Friday while addressing the Maine Chiefs of Police Association winter conference. “I just want you to know that I’ve always loved you and appreciated you. But now I have a real personal appreciation for all that you do to keep us safe,” Collins told the group in South Portland, Maine. Collins also received threats before when she voted to confirm

Former Vice President Joe Biden began Friday night's Democratic debate in Manchester, New Hampshire by conceding that he "took a hit" in the Iowa caucuses and he'll "probably take a hit" in the New Hampshire primaries next Tuesday. "This is a long race and I took a hit in Iowa and I'll probably take a hit here," Biden said, adding that Sen. Bernie Sanders swept the 2016 New Hampshire primary against Hillary Clinton. "Bernie won by 20 points last time and usually it's the neighboring senators that do well, but no matter what I'm still in this for the same

Following her third-place finish in the Iowa caucuses and polls currently showing her lagging ahead of Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough asked Vice correspondent Shawna Thomas what may be behind Warren’s “precipitous decline over the past two months.” “You know, just two months ago we were talking about what a stellar campaign she had

Amidst a week of hopscotching from Iowa to New Hampshire, former Vice President Joe Biden is taking some time off the trail, heading to Delaware to meet with advisers ahead of the eighth Democratic debate Friday, hosted by ABC News. The debate could be crucial for Biden, who is coming off what he called a "gut punch" in Iowa due to a lackluster performance in the caucuses, and looking to regain some ground in the race ahead of New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary Tuesday. With 100% of precincts reporting in Iowa late Thursday, Biden was fourth with 16% of state delegate

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Associated Press said Thursday that it is unable to declare a winner of Iowa's Democratic caucuses. Following the Iowa Democratic Party's release of new results late Thursday night, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg leads Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders by two state delegate equivalents out of 2,152 counted. That is a margin of 0.09 percentage points. However, there is evidence the party has not accurately tabulated some of its results, including those released late Thursday that the party reported as complete. The AP's tabulation of the party's results are at 99% of precincts reporting, with

NASHUA, N.H. —Outside the castle-themed Radisson Hotel where Joe Biden has been staying, his campaign bus was parked and ready for events. But on Thursday, just five days before the crucial primary here, the candidate was nowhere to be found. Biden spent Thursday gathered with his top advisers at his home in Wilmington, Del., seeking a reset and perhaps a last-ditch effort to save his candidacy, beginning with a debate Friday night. He held no public events. Following dismal results in the Iowa caucuses that have rattled many in his orbit, his campaign is now simultaneously trying to lower expectations

Hillary Clinton seemingly doubled down on her previous criticism of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, her one-time rival during the 2016 presidential election, during an interview Thursday. In an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Clinton, the Democratic nominee four years ago, urged voters to "vote for the person that you believe can actually win in November." The notion that Clinton was criticizing Sanders, a self-avowed democratic socialist, was reaffirmed when DeGeneres said: "It seems to me more than ever we need somebody who’s going to go in and be able to kind of steer this ship in the right direction

The most important thing that happened during President Trump’s post-impeachment rant at the White House didn’t happen at the lectern. Yes, as usual, he called me a sleaze and scum and a dirty cop and said he likely would no longer be president if he hadn’t fired me. Although I still can’t follow the logic of that last bit, it doesn’t matter. The important thing was what happened in the audience, where there were plenty of intelligent people of deep commitment to religious principle. They laughed and smiled and clapped as a president of the United States lied, bullied, cursed and belittled the faith of other leaders. That was the deeply disturbing

Joe Biden brought his “No Malarkey” tour to a New Hampshire debate stage on Friday night. But in promising to tell the truth, he accidentally exposed his own doleful (or I should say, Bob Dole-ful) prospects in Tuesday’s opening-gun primary. In his first words of the debate—the moment when candidates are usually the most scripted—Biden confessed, “I took a hit in Iowa and I’ll probably take a hit here.” It was a novel campaign strategy; few candidates ever say, “Vote for me because I’m going to lose here.” If his comments were a brief misstep in an otherwise smooth debate, it would have been one thing.

I see that various pundits are competing to write the political epitaph for Joe ‘son-of-a-bitch‘ Biden. That’s entirely understandable. It’s been clear for some time that Biden is on the threshold of senility, and it is only my charitable disposition that prevents me from speculating about which side of the threshold he occupies. And then there was the desolation wrought by the Democrats’ impeachment entertainment. From the start, it was clear that the chief casualty of that amateur theatrics was going to be Joe Biden and his sniff, sniff, sniffing son Hunter. Everyone who is not Bill Kristol understood that the bullet of that purely partisan hit job would miss President Trump.

Immigration experts and House Republicans are balking at the New Way Forward Act, a Democratic bill that is being described as an embrace of “open borders” and likely to be the most “radical” legislation ever introduced in history. Democratic Illinois Rep. Jesús García, along with several other progressive House members, introduced the New Way Forward Act in December 2019, to seemingly little fanfare. The bill, among many things, calls for the decriminalization of illegal immigration, would make it more difficult to deport convicted criminal aliens, empower immigration judges to nullify deportation orders, and also calls for the return of previously deported illegal aliens.
