Report: Missing $1.8 Billion in
Aid Linked to Corrupt Oligarch
Who ‘Bankrolled’ Ukraine Revolution

Original Article

In a live video presentation, Thursday night, conservative radio host Glenn Beck accused the Obama administration of funneling $1.8 billion in taxpayer dollars to Ukraine in order to fund the Ukrainian revolution against Russia. (Snip) After former president Barack Obama made then-Vice President Joe Biden his “point man” in Ukraine, the Veep sent $3 billion in aid to Ukraine, and Burisma Holdings—where his son Hunter sat on the board—was implicated in the disappearance of $1.8 billion of that money. The notoriously corrupt Burisma has been under investigation on and off for years for various financial crimes.

Comments:

Suggest reading the article for a better understanding of the goings-on. For example, the FBI had been investigating IhorKolomoisky, the owner of Ukraine’s largest commercial bank, PrivatBank, for “potential financial crimes, including money laundering” for quite some time. Further, the Latvian prosecutorial agency investigating money laundering, specifically questioned whether or not HunterBiden and three other officials at BurismaHoldings were “the potential beneficiaries of suspect funds.” Mr.Kolomoisky’s firm, PrivatGroup, is the controlling shareholder of Burisma. The author pointed out that, “If The Blaze’s theory is correct, Obama provided Ukraine with a whole lot more, only under the table to avoid agitating Russia.”

Yeah OP, I don't think that theory ever crossed Obama and his folks mind. I'm thinking they were creating a slush fund for kick backs and bribery.

I tend to agree that the Ukrainian oligarchs played the gullible Obama Administration like a violin rather than Obama coming up with a way to fund the Ukrainian military. That would assume that Obama or anyone in his circle had the brains or guts to attempt a real "Iran-Contra" scheme like Reagan did which is not plausible. It would be nice as a tax payer to have somebody look into why Privat Bank loaned all the bail out money to Kolomoisky's shell companies where they immediately defaulted with no trace of what they spent that money on. A billion here and a billion there and it starts adding up to real money. Based on his past family history I think Joe Biden would stick with basic protection racket and influence peddling crimes and not try his hand at high level international intrigue. Too much risk and not enough profit.

Demonrats and a few Republicans know all to well that there were some VERY corrupt deals going on under "Papa Doc" Obama's Regime. I've a sneaking suspicion that Ukraine money was being funneled into Swiss bank accounts for various politicians, whereas dumbarse Biden let his flunky-punk kid flaunt the money all over the world, "Hey I'm stupider than my dad, but I'm livin' great!" That while the "smart" crooked pols bided their time until that day they could begin secretly drawing from the golden cookie jar through their fake non-profit foundations. I hope there is at least a few honest DOJ/FBI officials who will subpoena banks in Switzerland (which they CAN do now), and find out who has been doing the dirty deed that no peons here can do.

The FBI was investigating Kolomoisky for some time? Really? Since nothing has happened, I can only assume the sainted Mueller, Comey, Butcher, Lynch & Co., Brennan & Co., Barry, Joey, etc. shut the whole thing down to keep taxpayer money to the tune of $1.8B flowing to them via kickbacks.

I'll bet a large portion of this was rolled back into payments to The Zero, Biden, Shrillary, and Lurch via various subterfuges. Probably Pelosi, too. Send out billions in "foreign aid" get back maybe half of it as kickbacks, what a scam. I don't believe one penny went to support Ukrainian troops.

Corporate media news outlets reacted with predictable venom to President Trump’s triumphant post-acquittal victory lap, Thursday. It was a joyful and raucous event that most people in the room appreciated. But not the sourpusses in the mainstream media.(Snip)“It was evil, it was corrupt, it was dirty cops, it was leakers and liars,” Trump said, calling the Russia hoax “all bullshit.” He noted that if the same things had happened to former president Obama, the perpetrators would already be serving time in jail.

What an unexpected sorbet Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) served up on Wednesday afternoon. (Snip) This odd man, so overbrimming with conscience and full of consultation with the Almighty, has finally revealed his purpose in returning to public life. His incandescent conscience managed to be a self-enriching asset-stripper at Bain and Company. He possessed a near-Olympian talent for flipping in all four directions on practically every public policy question from abortion and healthcare to taxes. But he could not manage his spirit of vengeance. As an authentically scriptural man, Mitt Romney would know that it is the “God of Vengeance, God to whom vengeance belongs.”

The privileged resolution, which was introduced Wednesday by Texas Republican Rep. Kay Granger, blasted Pelosi’s public shredding of the text of the address as “a breach of decorum” and said it brought “discredit on the House.”

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday ripped up her copy of President Trump's prepared remarks at the conclusion of his State of the Union address. As Trump finished speaking and most lawmakers stood to applaud, Pelosi stood, took the printed copy of Trump's speech and tore it in half. She placed the shredded copy in a stack on the dais as Trump made his way to greet members of Congress. Asked afterward why she tore the speech up, Pelosi told reporters it was "the courteous thing to do given the alternative."

The most important thing that happened during President Trump’s post-impeachment rant at the White House didn’t happen at the lectern. Yes, as usual, he called me a sleaze and scum and a dirty cop and said he likely would no longer be president if he hadn’t fired me. Although I still can’t follow the logic of that last bit, it doesn’t matter. Immigration experts and House Republicans are balking at the New Way Forward Act, a Democratic bill that is being described as an embrace of “open borders” and likely to be the most “radical” legislation ever introduced in history. Democratic Illinois Rep. Jesús García, along with several other progressive House members, introduced the New Way Forward Act in December 2019, to seemingly little fanfare. The bill, among many things, calls for the decriminalization of illegal immigration, would make it more difficult to deport convicted criminal aliens, empower immigration judges to nullify deportation orders, and also calls for the return of previously deported illegal aliens.
