Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said on Monday that he is keeping an "open mind" ahead of President Trump's impeachment trial but reiterated that any decision on witness should wait until mid-trial.
"Deciding whether or not a sitting president should be removed from office is perhaps the most solemn matter that can ever come before the United States Senate. I enter this task with an open mind and a recognition of my solemn responsibility to fulfill my oath," Romney said in a statement to constituents.

Between this guy, Lisa Murkowski, and Susan Collins, Mike Pence may need to cast the deciding vote. It´s awfully big if Mitt to keep an open mind.

Be careful Mitt. It's been said that with an "open mind", one's brains can fall out.

This emperor's clothes came off a long time ago. He'll NEVER be president (which he can't get over), and he's losing traction in "his" own state--which, technically is Massachusetts, at least he was governor there. Like Hillary, he's a carpetbagger, without a real home state, who wants to be king-of-the-world.
Mitt, you're a pretender. I'm sorry I ever voted for you. UTAH, give this man a push out of his pretend senate seat next time around. He's been a thorn in the side since he accepted our PDT's endorsement and then stabbed him in the back (figuratively, of course). Your 15 minutes of fame is over, Mitt. Sit down!
MAGA!!! KAG!!! Let's put this sham-peachment away! Come on Turtle McConnell, bring it home!

I feel lucky every time I read anything about Romney or McCain, that we do not have to take the blame for what they would have done as president.

The soviet style, corrupt, totally unfair process in the House should have closed his mind. Romney is just a loser in every possible way.

If Romney can't see the vicious, unfair, soviet-style kangaroo kourt that Schiff ran, and be totally repulsed by that, he is really dangerous. He is just eaten up with jealousy that Trump won where he lost, and it ruins everything in his life.
