Amid reports that he might skip out on the presidential debates altogether next year, President Trump issued a series of social media posts Monday blasting the Commission on Presidential Debates and suggesting that some major changes might be coming in how the debates are handled in 2020. The New York Times reported last week that Trump has been “discussing with his advisers the possibility of sitting out the general election debates in 2020” because “he does not trust the Commission on Presidential Debates, the nonprofit entity that sponsors the debates.”

In 2018, the Daily Beast reported that a number of businesses linked to Kolomoisky hired Powell as an attorney. One of those firms paid Powell at least $700,000 over two years, according to public records.

Boeing will suspend production of its 737 Max planes in January after the planes were grounded following two seperate crashes that led to the deaths of 346 people.

Sen. Chuck Schumer wants acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and ex-national security adviser John Bolton to testify in President Trump’s expected impeachment trial.
In a letter to Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Sunday, Schumer proposed having Mulvaney and Bolton subpoenaed, along with a Mulvaney adviser, Robert Blair, and a budget official, Michael Duffey.
The New York lawmaker said the proposed witnesses have “direct knowledge of Administration decisions” related to the charges against Trump.
He said he would be open to hearing from additional witnesses, and proposed issuing subpoenas for documents from the administration.
McConnell and other top Republicans have suggested a shorter trial without witnesses.
On Friday, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee approved two articles of impeachment against President Trump: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The committee vote sends the question to the full House, with a vote expected later this week.
That fast timeline won’t allow for much consideration of the question, however, forcing folks to rely on House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s 300-page report detailing his committee’s “impeachment inquiry.” But following last week’ release of the inspector general’s report on FISA abuse that proved nearly every sentence wrong in Schiff’s last high-profile report (his self-titled “Correcting the Record—The Russia Investigation”), Schiff’s work product should be deemed worthless.

Chrome 79 is the latest version of the world’s most popular web browser, which is used by more than 1 billion people.
The bug appears to only affect apps that use Android’s built-in WebView – a feature that allows users to view web pages within an app. Some apps, such as DuckDuckGo rely entirely on WebView in order to operate.

The latest news is that the Republican leadership is thinking about trying to vote to acquit President Trump without a trial or hearing any witnesses. That has never been done, but it would be a smart move politically. Despite the president’s statements that he wants a full trial in the Senate, an impeachment trial is unlikely to help President Trump win reelection.
So former FBI chief Jim Comey finally admits the glaringly obvious: “I was overconfident as director in our procedures” in getting a warrant to wiretap a Trump campaign aide and the bureau’s behavior “was not acceptable.”
