The push to eliminate all gender segregation at Marine Corps camps has more momentum than ever, but analysts and military insiders say there remain major real-world, physical roadblocks to coed basic training and serious questions about whether the Marines can or should follow the lead of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
The Marine Corps last month reportedly commissioned a comprehensive study to examine the benefits and potential pitfalls of moving to more integrated training of male and female Marines. (Snip) The Marine Corps remains the only service to separate male and female recruits during early weeks of service.

The obloa-bots and other perfumed princes really, really need to get flushed out of the military system (including the academies), Sec. Espers and President Trump.

Um ..no. Its not the "radical homosexual contingency" thats driving this. Its the feminists.
Once upon a time I was dead set against this. Today, not so much. The Navy, Army and Air Force hasnt collapsed, and Israel remains the strongest military force in the middle east.
If women can do the job, and they want too, then they should.

They just keep doing the same thing again and again despite the fact that it does not work.
Maybe they ought to figure out how we have managed to screw around in Afghanistan for 18 years with no result other than record opium harvests and booming sales of prosthetic legs.

This is so dumb. How can there be older women who still can't admit that post puberty men are simply physically stronger than women? It's like the last time they arm wrestled a boy was when they were 11 years old and a foot taller than boys their age. Grow up!
Next they'll be holding up transgender "women" saying look we're just as strong! That's exactly what was going to happen under Obama / Clinton... God saved us.

Women and men are not physically equal. It's called upper body strength. No amount of political correctness is going to change that.

I just do not like the sight of young women with no legs or arms in wheel chairs. It is bad enough to see young men this way. Especially after two decades of "war" in a part of the world that is a cesspool. With the weapons we have it is almost possible to fight wars without men in foxholes. So what is the point of young women on the front lines? Bad idea in every way.

The bottom line is that standards have to be lowered. There is no way around it. The few females that might have the genes to compete would not be enough to satisfy the critics. The other problems related to coed training just creates more unnecessary problems.

Whoever is doing this "pushing" is either stupid beyond words or is driven by an agenda. America is soon going to drive the best people away from military service, much to our detriment. Yes, girls can make it through Navy Boot Camp. I was disappointed at the lack of physical training at Great Lakes. The Marines, not so much. Unless, as usual, the standards are lowered to achieve an award for some LGBTEXCHGX officer appointed by the great Rainbow god herself, Barack Hussein Obama, mm, mm, mm.

Anyone who would propose this nonsense has probably never served in the armed forces. If they have, and they still think its a good idea, they're crazy.
I was a teenaged Marine NCO in a combat unit in Vietnam. Life in the rear areas was tolerable. In the field, we lived like animals. It wasn't unusual to go two weeks without bathing. We didn't mind - we were all Marines, and most were under 30 - but anyone who would subject a woman to the kind of life has a room-temperature IQ.

Great let's mix the sexes with raging hormones then we can blame the males for the inevitable outcome. By inheriting survival traits that were essential for the existence and survival of the human race they will now be vilified and jailed. Stinking brilliant.

I should have said "goddess" in post #8 but since the primary problem is gender confusion, mistakes will be easily made. The "god" in that union is Thorchelle, the god of Thunderthighs.

#2: The Israeli's don't allow women in combat. They tried it and now they don't do it.

Pointing to Israel's use of women is overblown. Its current policy is more restrictive than that of the US.

Women shouldn't even be hired as police officers, let alone Marines.

Oh, where oh where has our once beautiful Marine Corps gone? It wasn't too long ago when women couldn't lead Marines at US embassies. I still scream at the TV when shows or movies portray women beating up men, punching men like men punch men, the Marine Gunny is a woman, and she's the toughest of all, even men. So unreal. Annoying. Get the girls out of the Marines! WMs were the best when they embraced their real strengths and served where they served best.

G. I. Jane sticks her head up again over the foxhole she's dug. Last time, (over 20-years-ago) it was a "journalist" photo of her enjoying a female friend's company on the beach that almost stopped her completion of basic training Today, it's the radical homosexual contingency that wants to see her succeed, to the detriment of of our Military forces.
