I'm starting to watch the reaction to this Tessa Majors murder case like a slo-mo car crash.
I noted the other day that the New York Times was pretty obnoxious to the Barnard University college student who was murdered in a dangerous park outside Columbia University, largely by trying to define victim's entire life by her green hair and liking for punk rock, as if kids don't go through stages. Kind of harsh to define someone that way at the grand sendoff...
And far from being 'worldly' as the Times quoted someone as saying, those kinds of things are childish, and yes, the victim was in fact very young and naive.

I'd like to know more about the familial demographics of these youth. It's not that there aren't enough 'after school programs' for the 13 & 14 year olds. It that THERE IS NO FATHER PRESENT IN THE HOME!

Knowing a bit about the geography of New York City, I waited for it. I read whole articles right to the end before finding it. Towards the end of some articles, willfully buried deep beneath everything else, you see the words "youth" and "Harlem."
The stupid cop wants to push his anti-marijuana "enforcement" agenda because more enforcement means more budget for more useless cops and fatter union pensions. Because anti-marijuana laws might have been broken while this girl was being murdered. Do you think this stupid cop wants to police the free-range ferals running around New York City? He is useless.
The fatuous mayor speaks out in defense of the murder victim but doesn't want stop and frisk and wouldn't support any of the measures that would remove murderous humans from public spaces. He is worse than useless; he is complicit.
Here's the other thing that got buried deep in the stories: She fought. She bit them while they were killing her. God bless her departed soul, the young lady had courage. But no gun. Who's responsible for that? Decades of imbecile politicians and a pervasively patronizing culture that believes -- perversely, despite all the evidence to the contrary -- that an armed woman is somehow a threat to society. Guns are not useless. In a time where other people's children are raised to rob and murder young women at knifepoint, they are essential. If she'd had one, she might be alive now, or at least some of them might be dead.
Of course, if she'd shot them dead, she would be on trial now, and the "community" would be protesting in the streets. You know the one. The kind of "community" that raises "youths" who go into a park and murder a young women. The kind of "community" you find next to Morningside Heights.
In a place called Harlem.

This will be a future Netflix program on how the kids who admitted it are innocent because of a lack of DNA found on the sidewalk or something.

I have been to that area and worked with a company around the Columbia University area. Not safe in the daytime, certainly not at night.

Are we to understand that in Bloomie's Utopia, if you are out to purchase marijuana and get murdered, the score is even? Case closed. Justice in New York City.
Like Tessa Majors, I have been to NYC for the last time in my life. Nothing there attracts me anymore.

Even with a major motion picture on the nation's cinema screens depicting massive media malfeasance, it's fairly obvious from the current reporting on the Majors case that the Enemedia learned nothing from their Richard Jewel fiasco.

This is turning into the Central Park jogger case all over again. The killers will be turned into the victims.

It's now an article of faith that the Central Park Five were 'innocent' (quotes intentional) but none of the forensic evidence, confessions etc. have been contradicted.
Basically, five criminal scum were freed and paid off because they became political tokens.
It set the precedent for future savage attacks by savages.

Barrack Obama, you have blood on your hands. Colin Kaepernick you have blood on your hands.
All who have whipped up the minority community into believing that they are the victims of everybody else and have no opportunity to effect their station in life by their own choices have blood on their hands.
Al Sharpton you have blood on your hands. Jessie Jackson you have blood on your hands.
The dumb ass NFL players who kneeled and waived their hands in the hands up don't shoot charade have blood on their hands.
Just as Adolph Hitler had blood on his hands for attributing all that ailed the German people on the Jews.

Republican NYC Mayors clean up crime, Democratic NYC Mayors encourage crime. I lived in NYC for 30 years under Lindsay, Beame, Koch, Dinkins, and Giuliani. All but Giuliani had immense problems with crime-look how fast Giuliani cleaned it up. Bloomberg then just followed Rudy's policies and NYC prospered. Times Square went almost overnight from a sleazy, porn ridden neighborhood to the crown jewel of Manhattan. But fighting crime is like pushing against gravity-if you don;t keep pushing, then you fall, which is what's happening now under DeBlasio. I couldn't believe he got re-elected, but now Im sure it's because the polls were full of illegal voters. Dinkins only lasted one term and failed to get re-elected, but the Dems hadn't had enough tme to bring in enough illegals to carry him over Rudy.

I guess Tessa isn't the right kind of victim for the media to be outraged on her behalf. Maybe because she is an actual victim, not one of the phonies who crawl out of the swamp mire whenever they need to destroy a republican? That kind of fakery they seem to have plenty of outrage and sympathy for. That this happened during the day is scary as well. That usually means nobody is safe anymore.
My deepest sympathies for her family, who are going to have a rotten holiday season this year, and maybe for years to come. RIP dear Tessa, for we out here in realville know you were a true and blameless victim.

The pols and the media won't say it, so I will: she was targeted because she was an attractive white girl.
( #2 I'd like to appropriate your term 'free-range ferals')

Not her FAULT, but she contributed to the situation by putting herself into an unsafe place, and intentionally dealing with criminals.
That is ALWAYS risky behavior, like having sex with an HIV infected person, driving without seat belts, and numerous other things in life which increase your chance of a bad, even fatal outcome.
Life is all about choices. She made a very bad choice.

The reaction by New York City authorities is unconscionable. Obviously they are trying to protect their favored citizens as much as they can but it's hard to change the fact that three "teens" of a certain persuasion murdered a young girl as if skinning an animal in the jungle. The fact that the monsters have not been beaten to a pulp in jail shows the hypocrisy of the NYPD which now enjoys a reputation similar to the Chicago PD. Their support will be completely forgotten the next time an officer is shot by "teens" for nothing while sitting in his car. We have our own version of a third world Schiffhole right here on our own east coast.
I once had the misfortune of working in Manhattan for one summer. I found the only relatively safe area to be Chinatown which says a lot more about the residents there than it does for the police. They refuse to tolerate crime in their area while right next door in Little Italy I witnessed outdoor restaurant furniture and a car being stolen in plain sight.

It takes a really, really sick mind to blame the murder victim! But, this is the New York Times, where fare impartial journalism goes to die.

73% illegitimate births
Yet it never is mentioned
3 out of 4 bastids born in Harlem
And other ghettos across America
Why? For the sex? For the welfare check?
This is planned parenthood?
No father? No discipline?
Much violence and hatred toward others?
When do we have THIS discussion?
Wanton feral violent illegitimates born every day and yet it’s all okay?
Come on man!

So she went to the park to buy pot? I didn't realize buying pot was even a big deal to law enforcement anymore. I guess it isn't if you are of the right background. It is a problem if you are a white girl with green hair, apparently.
Buying pot is NOT a reason or an excuse for murder. Period. In a civil society (which apparently NYC is not!), we do not have excuses to murder others just because they are misbehaving. We don't even murder murderers. (Self-defense is not murder, BTW.)
I am tired of all the little b*stards who get away with this crap. I don't care what their race or ethnicity is.
