"God's used imperfect people all through history. King David wasn't perfect. Saul wasn't perfect. Solomon wasn't perfect," outgoing Energy Secretary Rick Perry said in an interview on "Fox & Friends" before going on to claim that he had given the president "a little one-pager on those Old Testament kings about a month ago. (Snip) Perry's statement--especially that "chosen one" bit--would be more surprising in a different administration. At this point, though, it could almost disappear into the background chatter of the administration and its allies. Presidential adviser Paula White, for example, uses the description of a demonic struggle

Nothing is more laughable than an ignorant theological lecture from some libtard in the pages of WaPo.

If you don't believe that the Bible is the word of God and has no truth in it then every reference to it mythical! My guess is the reporter is not a believing Jew or a Christian so any reference to the historical truth in the Bible is nonsense any just a myth! The Washington Post is anti Jew and Christian so no surprise about this being spewed on our National Thanksgiving Day!

Another factor that a lot of us considered: Despite personal faults, Donald Trump is not evil. Hillary Clinton was and remains the embodiment of evil.
Easy choice, and the Democrat Party grows more Godless by the day.

I believe that Trump was helped by God. How else can one explain all the fury from the Left not sticking to him during the campaign and after for the past almost three years? Plus he has also moved elements of God's plan forward, like our embassy in Jerusalem, among other things. The Left has staked their eternal lives on there being no Higer Power than themselves, and like the foolish during Noah's time, they will ignore reality at their own peril. In fact, there is reference to 'as in the days of Noah' so shall the end times be. If we aren't already there, we are on the beginnings of the end journey. The crazy is sure ramping up like maybe God has already turned them over to their baser instincts. Just remember what Jesus had to say about persecution. Whatever we mortals face, He faced first, and from the whole world of that era. Stay strong, and keep your faith even stronger.

You can be absolutely CERTAIN (and I have only read the headline) that ANY article in the CommiePost "explaining" anything about Trump will be at least two things:
1) It will involve hating on Trump and hating on the people who voted for him.
2) it will NOT be factual.

Myth. Fact check. If it is a liberal assertion, just believe the opposite and you will be good to go.

Good Kind David was from his youth up a ''man after God's own heart.' The message is that David wasn't good by his own goodness, he was only good when God was overseeing his work. God uses broken vessels to show us HIS glory and his might (and now any of our own). I would be shocked if anyone in the media could understand that.

Allow me to summarize this for y’all
The Washington Post is gospel.
The faith community, however, is a bunch of ignorant rubes who didn’t elect Mrs Clinton.

As far left as we've gone on social issues (e.g. abortion and gay marriage) I kind of welcome some good old fashioned, righteous, Christian hell fire and brimstone.

Nice bigoted article claiming Christians subscribe to some ancient belief the vast majority (other than an assistant professors at an unknown college in Iowa) knows about. And David wasn’t just “sexually impure.” He was a murderer. And God punished him for his transgressions if you read about his family life and reign.

Posting Thomas Lecaque’s opinion as somewhat of an adjunct to today’s article by Mr. Lifson about civility and that President Trump’s defenders “should be laughed at, ridiculed, and scorned.” Although Lecaque’s opinion piece was published by the WaPo, the link is to the Prince George Citizen. It seems the author has taken Rick Perry’s accurate comments about President Trump being one among those God has used throughout history and distorted not only the essence of Mr. Perry’s statement, but the religious concepts and convictions of Evangelicals who are steadfast in their understanding of and support for President Trump.
