A majority of registered voters believe President Trump will win again in 2020. A new Politico/Morning Consult poll found that 56 percent of all voters said Trump will be re-elected next year. The president obviously has an edge with Republicans, with 85 percent saying a Trump 2.0 is happening. But a majority of independents - 51 percent - agreed. Even a third of Democrats, 35 percent, said they believed there would be four more years of President Trump.

Comments:

I am surprised the Daily Mail wrote this headline. It most likely will changed to a negative one by the end of the day.

Complacency is our worst enemy. The twisted libs I work with are vocal and energized, worn down from years of enduring The Bad Orange Man's reign of terror (they never cite any negatives, but everyone on TV says he's a mean tyrant and that's good enough for most).

Democrats have a choice. They can be "elitists" who sniff "Nazi" at anyone in a MAGA hat. Or they can cover their faces and attack like the Hitler Youth. Yet they see no distinction between the two. KAG

And the purpose of the dims' impeachment farce is to prevent a 47-state Trump landslide. California, Illinois, and DC will stay way left.

Dems are hurting themselves. And I agree totally with #1. We need to spend money and time on this election, NEVER become complacent.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen met with President Donald Trump Sunday evening and submitted her resignation. Nielsen´s tenure at Homeland has been marked by an up-and-down relationship with the president, who has railed against the flood of immigrants coming across the border. CBS News reported the news of her resignation. She was reported to be meeting with the president in the residence after he finished playing golf. Her departure is a part of a massive overhaul engineered by top Trump adviser Stephen Miller, an anti-immigration hardliner who was the architect of the president´s travel ban, a senior U.S.

In 2018, various journalists wanted to talk to me about a couple of tweets I’d posted in favor of Kanye West. They couldn’t seem to believe that I supported his “crazy” feed, especially when he said he liked Trump, and couldn’t fathom why I tweeted “Hail Kanye!” in response to his weird blend of transparent prophet and calculated p.r. prankster. Michelle Obama recently complained about "white flight" in her old Chicago neighborhood. By "white flight " she means that whites left her neighborhood as it became increasingly black. "Upstanding families like ours, who were doing everything we were supposed to do and better -- as we moved in, white folks moved out, because they were afraid of what our families represented," she said. "I always stop there when I talk about this out in the world because I want to remind white folks that y'all were running from us. This family, with all the values you read about: You ran from us. And you're still running."

Mixed in among the hundreds, sometimes thousands, of Iowans who attend a single Pete Buttigieg rally is an important voting bloc in the state that could help the South Bend, Indiana, mayor keep his momentum and produce a solid finish next year: older voters. Young, intellectual, honest, authentic and disciplined are all terms those voters have used to describe Buttigieg at events during his most recent bus tour through northern Iowa. The millennial candidate is tuning the message of his campaign to a vision towards the future, building on themes, such as, unity, belonging and to "launch the era that

House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) issued a set of restrictions on Thursday morning limiting Republicans to calling witnesses that can respond to three questions, all of which reflect Democrats’ views. The questions, detailed in a letter Wednesday from Schiff to ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) are: 1, Did the President request that a foreign leader and government initiate investigations to benefit the President’s personal political interests in the United States, including an investigation related to the President’s political rival and potential opponent in the 2020 U.S. presidential election? 2. Did the President — directly or through agents — seek to use the power of the Office

Of all the local election victories decided in Tuesday’s vote, a Muslim Somali immigrant named Safiyah Khalid elected to a local office in Maine’s second largest city has gotten the royal treatment from the MSM. It reminds me of the primary victory of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in June 2018, which I wrote about here. AOC was largely pooh-pooed at the time but she has gone on to quickly become the most influential politician in the country. Several high-profile Democrats who back the so-called Green New Deal are now apparently supporting a new report calling for a dramatic reduction in the world’s population to stave off a climate crisis. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey retweeted links to a report signed by more than 11,000 scientists who argue that the population “must be stabilized—and, ideally, gradually reduced—within a framework that ensures social integrity.” The report, published Tuesday in the journal BioScience, also calls for the wholesale dumping of fossil fuels and the emergence of green energy. They call for a “bold and drastic” change in economic growth to slash greenhouse gas emissions,

"Why are Leftists so unreachable by reason? You can point out holes in their arguments but they are unmoved. And some of their claims are entirely out of touch with reality." Australian John J. Ray (M.A.; Ph.D) of Dissecting Leftism asks and then answers the question. (Snip) Later on . . . he cites Freud in calling what leftists do "displacement," meaning that, in their minds, their anger is always caused by something outside of themselves, like injustice for example. In a move that is unprecedented in scope, Texas state officials announced Wednesday they plan on taking over the state’s largest school district, yanking power from Houston Independent School District’s elected school board members to “prevent imminent and substantial harm to the welfare of the district’s students.” Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath sent a letter to Houston ISD Interim Superintendent Grenita Lathan and Board President Diana Davila giving two principal reasons for the decision: the school board’s “failure of governance” and the repeated low academic performance of Wheatley High School, which received its seventh failing rating this year. In addition to appointing a board of governance

Montgomery County is now the first county in the nation to ban discrimination based on hairstyle. Earlier this week, the council passed the measure unanimously. The CROWN Act – which has been passed in California and New York – gives residents a legal recourse if their hairstyle impacts their employment status, or if they’re denied service because of it. Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro said the CROWN Act “seeks to advance racial equity” by defining Protected Hairstyles.
