The "OK" hand gesture has been added to an expanding list of hate symbols used by white supremacists. The Anti-Defamation League announced dozens of new additions to its database on Thursday. The hand symbol began as a hoax by users of the website 4chan before turning into a popular trolling tactic, according to the Anti-Defamation League. By this year, it had evolved into a gesture embraced "in some circles as a sincere expression of white supremacy," the civil rights group said. The suspect in the New Zealand massacre last March flashed the symbol during his court appearance in March after

This is getting nutzo. I used to work with a guy who said 'OK' every 10 minutes. Today he would be imprisoned.

This is so confusing. If you hold up two fingers is it the Spock signaling Live Long and Prosper, the V for victory, or a Roman centurion ordering 5 beers. Am not totally sure what the single middle finger means but I get it all the time while driving. Never used to bother me until little old ladies started using it. Then there is the secret handshake used by cults. And the Captain Midnight Secret Decoder Ring. The world keeps getting more confusing.

Why, I would like to know, don't we run these people out of town on a rail, perhaps literally with a little tar and feathers. Why do we continue to allow these people to pour out garbage and quietly acquiesce to being told what to think what words we can use, how we must think about things and who and what we are if we don't kowtow to them and their ideology.

DENVER — The press office for Colorado's liberal Democratic governor, Jared Polis, is facing criticism after asking two small-town newspapers to take down an online news story reported by what it calls a biased news organization affiliated with the conservative Koch family.
