Bill Kristol excitedly reports the prospect that Sen. Mitt Romney's criticism of President Trump's call with the Ukrainian president may result in House and Senate Republicans supporting impeachment. "I think this statement by DeLauro is very important," Kristol said of a key Pelosi ally calling for the impeachment of Trump. "That signals to me I think where Nancy Pelosi is going."

Kristol is as delusional about impeachment as Democrats. McConnell is going to let a freshman rogue Senator form Utah torpedo his Senate majority? Even a third grader without a Civics classes knows that isn't going to happen.

At this point , the only thing left to do is to permanently disband the Democratic Party. It has devolved into a plotting cabal capable of only pursuing power. It has totally abandoned any semblance of public service-it now exists solely to service itself. It has embarked upon a lawless and reckless pursuit of a gvt takeover, whether its overthrowing the current president, or taking over the economy by means of wealth redistribution in the form of "green new deals" or "climate control" or whatever pseudo-science they seem to get a parade of liberal-funded 'scientists' to testify to. The lies they tell serve as distractions from their own behaviour-whatever a Democrat accuses you of, they themselves are doing. It's time to end this cancer in our republic.

I think Trump is the one holding the goods on Democrats. And they know it. We have waited a long long time for releases of information concerning FISA abuses, wiretapping, sedition and, well, treason. I suspect that Democrats know darn well that Trump has all the information that he needs to begin some serious indictments and Bill Barr will not be able to get in the way. At a minimum, I suspect Trump has primed us for significant reductions in "swamp" force during the next budget battle. So - they need impeachment proceedings to cover for this. The Democrats are in a very very weak position right now.

Bill Kristol is living off his father's career as much as Hunter Biden - maybe more. Hunter at least smelled out the easy money and went for it; Kristol keeps trying to persuade people that like his father, he's really smart, and he keeps failing.

In any civilized country, worms like Romney would be tarred and feathered at the very least. Because we are populated by stupid people who don't pay attention and ruled by kleptocrats, all he had to do was put an R after his name and pretend to be from Utah and he's in. I am ashamed that I voted for him and McCain, and glad they both lost. It was uniparty traitors like them that got us Mr. Trump.

So, hopefully Romeny WILL vote with the Democrats and let the voters , who THOUGHT he would vote with Republicans, what a mistake they made voting for him. Even Mormons can admit their guy is a LIAR! This is why I am so cynical about the Senate. Romney is a petty, small minded and vicious mentally little man who resents others who win something he can never have. Romney is at the only office he will ever enjoy, and he had to lie to Utah to win it. When you have no core principles to live your life by, you will turn yourself into the wet fingered Romney, holding that finger in the wind.

One of the greatest public services President Donald Trump has done for the nation is forcing institutions and people to reveal their true character. While this has been the most valuable when it comes to the media, it has also been valuable when it comes to unmasking globalist Republicans. This was again on display this week, most notably in the revelation that Paul Ryan was inciting Fox News from his position on the board of Fox Corporation to "decisively break" with President Trump.

There has always been a troubling trend on the Left, and among statists and the ruling class in general, when it comes to the rule of law. For those types, “rule of law” means more of a series of suggestions intended to keep “the others”—that is, “the deplorables” or we peasants—in our place. It’s very much “a good for me, but not for thee” mentality. Should any of us violate the laws, we can expect to have the book thrown at us. But for them, it’s more a slap on the wrist, if anything at all.

The education secretary took part in a roundtable discussion at an ordinary Catholic school. The media labeled it an extraordinary scandal. Rod Dreher’s “Law of Merited Impossibility” condenses the rhetorical game played by cultural progressives to first secure, and then enforce, changes in public morality: “It will never happen, but when it does, you bigots will deserve it.” Traditionalists, in Dreher’s telling, are lulled into a truce with social revolutionaries, who mock the dystopian nightmares of social conservatives as things that “will never happen.” But when the “it” happens, the revolutionaries insist that the bigots . . . deserve it.
