Jeffrey Epstein, the millionaire financier and accused sex trafficker, is dead by apparent suicide, according to the U.S. Justice Department. Epstein was in his federal jail cell in Manhattan but was not on suicide watch at the time of his death, multiple people familiar with the investigation told NBC News. His death comes a little over two weeks after he was found injured and in a fetal position in his cell at the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. He was semiconscious with marks on his neck at the time. In July, two sources told NBC News that Epstein was on suicide watch.

Everyone knew about sleazeball Harvey Weinstein for decades. But he got a pass because of big donations to Democrats. In a failed effort to get Trump, Dems threw him under the bus with the #MeToo movement, figuring women would come out of the woodwork accusing Trump. Instead they exposed a bunch more sleazeball liberals. Everyone Knew about sleazeball Jeffrey Epstein for decades. But he got a pass because of big donations to Democrats. I'm skeptical it was suicide. Jeffrey Epstein would have done his best to bribe his way out of this "dilemma." Something just doesn't seem right. Also, the victims are upset that they won't see justice. I believe Jeffrey Epstein has already seen justice. I'm a believer and I know God takes care of the judging. What his victims probably mean is that it might be more difficult to get money from his estate now. The lawyers will take care of that aspect. They need not worry about justice.

#1, NY Post was suspiciously early, perhaps...and not sourced like NBC (Dept. of Justice) Did notice a discrepancy between both sources reporting about the time Epstein was found (NY Post had 7:30 AM, which would be a little late for 'morning check' in my view, versus NBC's 6:30AM.)

Pedophile rings comprise many, many rich, powerful and well placed perverts. They are like ticks burrowed into every institution, public and private, and poisoning them all. They would ensure Epstein would be taken care of or "taken care of". The next part of the cover up is for all the evidence collected to be "disappeared" in one way or another and the media members and acolytes to run interference.

It appears that BJ, Bill Richardson, George Mitchell, Prince Andrew, Bob Menendez, and the likes of many others of the elite crowd who indulged in the warmth of Orgy Island can breathe a little easier now. Would still like to see Epstein's visitor list. Amazing how someone supposedly on suicide watch still finds a way to do the deed. The Arkancide informant who met with Epstein probably gave him the choice of accepting and carrying out assisted suicide or violent mutilation in his jail cell.

Our thinking this week, amid all the carnage and grief and finger-pointing, has been in part on Beto O’Rourke, the presidential candidate from El Paso, where 22 people were killed last Saturday. Our sympathy is devoted to the dead and their families, of course — but Beto has been on our minds, too. We keep coming back to a moment last Sunday when, for a few seconds, all the pretenses that are part of running for president in our age of constant exposure were peeled back, if only briefly. There are times, it seems, in most presidential campaigns when the facades get stripped away like so many layers of paint.

Joe Biden possesses the elixir of ordinariness, despite the appearance of having picked his hair and teeth out of a catalog. One of the traits of ordinariness is inconsistency. Another is hypocrisy. These are pardonable flaws among the ordinary, but we expect our leaders to at least remember their lines. Biden’s performance this week shows why he might win the Democratic nomination, but still lose the 2020 election. On Wednesday, Biden and Cory Booker attended Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, to launch an opportunist attack on Donald Trump for, in Biden’s words, ‘fanning the flames of white supremacy’. Fifty years ago tonight, followers of Charles Manson murdered actress Sharon Tate, her unborn child, Jay Sebring (hairstylist to Frank Sinatra, Steve McQueen, Jim Morrison, and other stars), coffee heiress Abigail Folger, her boyfriend and director Roman Polanski’s boyhood friend Wojciech Frykowski, and 18-year-old Steven Parent, who unfortunately visited the property’s caretaker to examine a radio for sale at the wrong time. Street urchins killed beautiful people and then delivered an encore to their ugly performance later that weekend at the home of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. Here are a few things I know firsthand about being in jail. First and foremost, you have virtually no control over your life and surroundings. You can’t get so much as an aspirin without authorization. In most jails, you can’t wear a belt, or shoelaces, or keep a razor in your cell. You have no privacy, no sense of dignity, and no rights. And in a well-run jail, high-profile prisoners have virtually no chance of killing themselves. So the alleged suicide of Jeffrey Epstein, the 66-year-old financier with powerful American and foreign friends who was about to stand trial for allegedly sexually abusing dozens of girls, many of them underage,
