Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) told reporters Thursday that the “send her back” chants during President Donald Trump’s North Carolina rally were not only “offensive,” but bad for the country. “I found the chanting and the chants to be offensive. Very unfortunate for my party but also for our country,” Romney told reporters on Thursday when asked about the chants referring to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

Mitt ought to let go and let God on this one IMO. DJT election saved us from the obama-Hillary-commie cabal. Play the game of where we would be in the world today if warhawk, pocket-lining Hillary was President. This time Mitt's narrative is way off course for what the nation, under God, needs (and will get if we remember who fosters His own plan in spite of the machinations of Old Ned or the anxiety of Mitt) Mitt is right about our president acting a bit more restrained and presidential but we gets what we gets and work with it?

You know what is truly offensive, Mitt? Truly offensive are people who are supporting human trafficking and pretending that it is compassionate and moral. That is the real offense here. Using churches to support the people who are trafficking in cheap labor and prostitution and pornography and child abuse in the form of child pornography. That is what is truly offensive and that people like you with your well pressed suit would stand there and tell the rest of us how immoral we are because we want none of it and the filthy money that funds it, is offensive. So go pray for your mortal soul, Mitt, and think about the cartels and the evil men who are behind these people being used in the most inhumane way possible. People who support this human chain of misery are neither moral nor in any position to call anyone offensive. And you and your political friends who are making billions off of the misery of these people who are promised a better life but who suffer the worst that evil men can devise for them are the truly offensive among us.

You my arrogant, self-righteous foppish snob are the poster boy for the problem that plagues the Republican Party. You are offensive in your demeanor, your disloyalty, and most of all your grade school hand in the air pick me, pick me attitude that is as childish and obvious as your hatred of this President. Maybe the heat in Washington is getting to the politicians this year. Some Republicans are starting to support populist policies that just a few years ago they would have ridiculed then Senate majority leader Harry Reid for even considering. The left has decided that almost their whole party is going to run for the office of President. With the left controlling the House and the right controlling the Senate, frustration seems to be everywhere -- which means that the perfect storm for a liberty stealing compromise also seems to be brewing. The faster that August break can get here, the safer will be our liberty, health, and pocketbooks.

After Republicans lost in 2012, failing to retake the White House and actually losing Senate seats despite a sagging Obama-era economy, two prominent analyses were proposed. One — the Republican National Committee’s “autopsy” — said the GOP’s problem was embracing social issues too much and liberal immigration too little. The other analysis — the “Missing White Voter” thesis — was grounded in actual data. It said the problem was that the GOP of the Bush family and Mitt Romney had turned off working-class whites to the point that they disengaged.

MAKINDYE-LUKULI, Uganda   — The darkening clouds are ominous for many in this urban neighborhood, promising rushing rainwaters stinking of human waste from overflowing septic tanks. As Africa faces a population boom unmatched anywhere in the world, millions of people are moving to fast-growing cities while decades-old public facilities crumble under the pressure. Sewage is a scourge for residents of this community on the outskirts of Uganda’s capital, Kampala. There are no public toilets for some 1,200 people. Mud tinged with feces washes into homes during heavy rains.

A doctor who served former President Obama for more than 20 years before his presidency said this week he thought former Vice President Joe Biden "looked frail" during the first Democratic debate in Miami, when he was attacked by Sen. Kamala Harris. Dr. David Scheiner told the Washington Examiner that Biden's appearance during the debate made him nervous. "Harris started attacking him and he looked frail to me," Scheiner said. "I sort of got the feeling he wasn’t very strong. It was similar to the feeling I got when Republicans started attacking Mueller so fiercely."

This is the moment a homeowner pulled his gun on two teens who tried to rob him in his own front yard. The suspects had allegedly been terrorizing the Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a spate of robberies on Wednesday, when they approached the victim. Surveillance footage, shot from a doorbell camera, showed the man, who is not named, responding by casually pulling a gun out of his pocket and aiming it at the two robbers who fled to their car. Police caught up with the getaway car as the suspects were fleeing the scene, and there was a brief chase before the teens crashed.
