Several African American and Latino Democrats rallied around House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez accused her of targeting “newly elected women of color” through a series of public remarks dismissing their political influence inside the House. " referred to members of moderate Democratic groups in a tweet last month as “New Southern Democrats” who are “hell bent to do to black and brown people today what the old Southern Democrats did in the 40s.” " Well... I can hardly argue with that to be frank, except for the fact that it is nothing new. Democrats have been 5h1tting on blacks for decades and calling it a free shoe shine.

Time for the CBC to line up a candidate that can beat each of the "Squad" members in their respective districts. Shouldn't be too hard! Except that you know Soros money is freely flowing to the Justice Democrats. Can anyone say RICO?

This explains why Ms. Ocasio-Cortez was a college-educated bartender until last year. If you don't like how your boss is treating you, you either work it out with the person or get a new job. You don't get on a microphone and call them racist.

AOC has not matured beyond the 11-12 year old girl stage. She thinks she knows everything better than anyone else, that she should be able to say anything she wants without having her facts checked and correct, and that she should be able to attack anybody and not have them hit her back (verbally). I used to think one couldn't get more pathetic than previous Democrats, but AOC and her gang have proven me very wrong.

I visited the Capital today. It was crowded as expected. Saw a few members of Congress taking a lunch break while proceedings were taking place. I guess they needed a break from all the BS that's being flung. I was surprised they were having lunch where visitors go to eat. I thought they had their own cafeteria. Security personnel were close to them, but I was able to say hello and trade a few comments with them that made them laugh. I was also surprised by how close one could come to Nancy Pelosi's office. There were hundreds of people visiting the section of the Capital where her office is located, and one could just walk right past her office. One does however, have to go through several metal detectors much like airports, and remove objects from your pockets, but all and all, it was a very entertaining few hours.

AUSTIN —Just nine months ago, attorney Katie Baron was so inspired by Beto O’Rourke’s Senate campaign in Texas that she commissioned a sprawling mural on the side of a building in east Austin featuring the candidate in a Superman-like pose. After O’Rourke lost race and began mulling a presidential campaign, the artist added a sweeping “2020” in blue paint — providing what seemed to be yet one more call for O’Rourke to get into the crowded race. Now, four months into O’Rourke’s campaign, Baron wishes he had stayed out. After the first Democratic presidential debate last month, Baron posted an

The reinvigorated effort comes just weeks after President Trump tweeted that ICE was preparing to kick off days of raids in at least 10 major cities. The operation was halted, however, the day before it was set to start, to give Congress time to arrive at a legislative solution on immigration.
