Turning around in Walmart, I saw a large exhibit of Listerine mouthwash. The exhibit was covered in rainbows stating that it was in celebration of LGBTQ (and other alphabets that I can't remember) pride. The wording on the exhibit preached to us about love, respect and anti-bigotry. Why is Johnson & Johnson which owns Listerine making a big deal about portraying perverted lifestyles engaged in by less than 3% of the population as something beautiful and crucially important?

Comments:

For how long were cultural conservatives told to shut up and discouraged from running by those genius grow the party black turtleneck and merlot Republican types?

It’s not just Listerine. It’s all of Johnson and Johnson. We can certainly do to them what we did to JC Penney. I don’t give a rip what people do in their bedrooms as long as they’re consenting adults but I’m fed up with LGBTetc’s demands and in-your-face behavior. I have a “married” lesbian and a homosexual in my extended family and I just try to not be around them. Fortunately, they are not activist types and I live 500 or so miles away from them.

This problem is much larger than the article describes. The educational system is literally packed with activists insisting that perversion be, not just tolerated, but celebrated. Those teachers who resist are ostracized by this vocal minority of fascists.

The author left off the "P" the LGPTQP crowd is demanding. The "P" stands for "pedophiles". Normally, I reject all things PC, but, in this case, I think they overreached too far, too early, before their Overton window was open. The "P" reveals them for the perverts they really are, and I encourage the use.

Not all thing have to be condoned and included. At best, LGBTQ should only be tolerated in a free society.

I agree with the other posters. The way to make places like Johnson and Johnson pay attention the the MAJORITY of us is to Boycott their products. It only takes a minute to look on what you're about to purchase and see if it belongs to the Johnson & Johnson Family! Time to push back against the LGBTQPRST Agenda. Time to take back the right to forbid Teachers from preaching about Two Mommies or Two Daddies to our Kindergarten Kids! Time to stop Gay Pride Days at Disney (by not going on those days). I know Gay people, they are good, quiet people. They don't flaunt their lifestyle. They live with their Partners, don't introduce them as "My Husband/My Wife". They simply introduce they by their name. It's been that way for centuries. This is nothing new. It's just been since the 80's that the Gays decided they needed EVERYONE to accept their Lifestyle! I think they have a fight on their hands!

LBGTQ enforcers are on the verge of making the reading of “I Am Jazz” a mandatory part of the national curriculum in public schools. That is the least of it. I have never believed that people are "born that way." What I have observed, more often than is comfortable, is that little boys become very effeminate when raised in households where there is no masculine (from men, that is) influence. And it's mostly boys who want to be girls, not the other way around. Coincidentally, there are more homes where the single parent is a woman, not a man. God will sort all this out and when He does, there will be a lot of very regretful, unhappy parents who promoted transgenderism in their sons and daughters.

As with other forms of cultural rot which has become acceptable and therefore grows more prevalent, the Church is generally silent. As our President told a large group of the nation’s most powerful preachers in his second meeting with them in 2016, the moral state of the nation is up to you guys NOT the government. Absolutely true. This is a spiritual battle.

On June 6th, I received from the VA, an email: "The VA MISSION Act is in effect today!". It noted: “We understand any transformation of this size and on such a rapid timeline is not without risk,” said Russo. “We are aiming for excellence in this effort, and we will continue to tweak and improve the process." Then on June 12, I got an invitation to :The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (VAHCS) will hold a special event to celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month on Thursday, June 13." Looks like someone's priorities are not "at risk" at all.

Whatever it is, it sure doesn't seem to make them content in themselves. It seems the MUST have the approbation of the rest of us.

Excellent article. Highly recommend. The gay lobby has cowed us all. We are afraid to speak out about their lies because they have power to destroy people, institutions. Talk about tyranny!!! Why do we tolerate their form of abuse? It is harassment. We’re supposed to love everyone. Uh, ok. But I don’t have to love sexual perversion. No one will call it for what it is. How can we fight back? I never hear a priest talk about the evils of homosexuality other than generic terms regarding the “crisis in the Church”. Never specifically calling out homosexuality for what it is from the pulpit. That is sad. We do get references to the evils of abortion all the time. I think homosexuality should be right up there with it. Mother Angelica has said that those individuals with same sex attraction should “fight the good fight”. Like alcoholics, abstaining from the bad stuff will save your life on earth and your eternal life. Pray, seek help. Not proselytizing kindergarteners to accept evil in the name of “diversity”. Getting off soapbox now. Thanks for letting me vent.

18, Bishop Tobin, not Cardinal Tweets Tobin, just last week told people in his archdiocese not to take part in any LGBT events. Meanwhile a priest in Canada said the same thing and was immediately admonished by his Bishop. It all comes down to where your Bishop stands. Find an FSSP parish or any parish that has the Latin Mass and attend as much as possible. The 1962 Missal clearly states that sodomy is a sin that cries out to G-D for vengeance. If you are stuck with only the Novus Ordo, go to one with a more orthodox priest and suggest bringing back Tradition. Inform yourself with Lifesitenews, Church militant, Taylor Marshall, etc. Even Facebook, for now, has me back with the satirical Susan From the Parish Council. There are more of us out there, fighting the good fight. And we know Who wins, so perservere!

I find it interesting that all the groups that either promote or many times embody or enable behavior that have in our Christian past elicited shame must now all have "Pride" days, weeks, or months. The more shameful the behavior, the greater the effort to enforce their "Pride" on the rest of us.

Homosexuality is a mental disease. Once down that path there is no return, which is why it almost invariably results in suicide. It is the only sin that God stands back and allows to take its own course. Romans 1:24 - Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

As a member LGBTQ tribe, I agree. I don't want to be treated any differently than any other American. I dont want special rights, set asides, victim status, quotas etc etc. Unfortunately, its the leftists activists that deign to speak for all of us. If you cant tolerate gays and lesbians for whatever reason, that's on you. That said, there are enough of us out there that obnoxiously stick their sexuality in your face and expect you to celebrate it. Those people make it difficult for the rest of us. Who you sleep with is your business, and no one else's. I wont bring up what I do in the bedroom and expect that you wont bring up your escapades.

Why Do Democrats Have a Secret

If hypocrisy equals people, Democrats in Washington are China. The latest example of such bold duplicity by the Democratic Party is the secret "A-list" of potential Supreme Court (SCOTUS) judges Democrats refuse to reveal while they turn blue on Capitol Hill screaming for more transparency from the Trump administration. Democrat leaders and activists working for Alliance for Justice are keeping their SCOTUS list under lock and key. Why? What do Democrats want to hide? Perhaps it's the fact that this list of potential justices for SCOTUS contains the names of the most liberal, activist judges in the land?

Much as with the border invasion, Senate GOP leaders Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn don’t believe our unprecedented spending is a problem. They only perk up when the Trump administration tries to combat either of those problems. Then, they say they care about the problem but just oppose the administration’s solution, of course, without offering their own. In just the first eight months of this fiscal year, our government has spent $3 trillion. That is $255 billion more than at this time last year and nearly half a trillion more than during the first eight months of FY 2016.

In this great country, it's not a crime to be a Christian — at least not yet. But the Left is working on it. Free expression of religion is not just shunned. It is ridiculed and mocked. Anti-Christian bigotry is the only form of acceptable intolerance remaining in this country — to be encouraged and incited by our "tolerant" liberal friends in academia, the media, and entertainment. Christian principles were foundational to the American Republic. Yet what matters to the Left is silencing the Christian influence of this nation.

It so happens that the issue that launched the recent fracas on the American Right is in my own dispiriting beat: the effects of gender-identity policies on children. Disputes about “strategy” aside, conservatives can all agree that a culture that permits the sexualization and sterilization of children’s bodies is a rotten one.
