Pelosi tells Dems she wants
to see Trump ‘in prison’

Original Article

Speaker Nancy Pelosi told senior Democrats that she’d like to see President Donald Trump “in prison” as she clashed with House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler in a meeting on Tuesday night over whether to launch impeachment proceedings. (Snip) “I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” Pelosi said, according to multiple Democratic sources familiar with the meeting. Instead of impeachment, Pelosi still prefers to see Trump defeated at the ballot box and then prosecuted for his alleged crimes, according to the sources. They said she was expressing solidarity with pro-impeachment Democrats

Comments:

With the hatred and revenge being exhibited by Democrats in Congress, it is in not possible to place any trust whatsoever in their so-called efforts to reach bipartisan consensus on issues important to this country.

What's the matter Nancy? Is the President shutting down your illegal demonrat money train via corruption? Demonrats do not deserve to have a seat in Congress. They only care about themselves. Our country and citizens be damned.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, I would have been shocked to see something like this by a US politician. Unfortunately, this venomous hatred has become the norm for Democrat politicians. Liberals are just haters - it is what they are and what they do; hating everyone all the time.

Has any president ever had the other party doing absolutely NOTHING legislatively except trying to get him removed? I can only think of Lincoln, but that's sort of apples/oranges.

To # 5 not really apples to oranges. It was the democrat party then, the party of slaves and the same democrat party today trying to enslave people to their form of socialist/communist government. And Lincoln was the first republican, so nothing changes just the names to protect the guilty. I would like one of these people to name the crime. I mean besides being Trump.

That's because it isn't up to Nancy to make "prison" happen and it is extremely unlikely to happen. What IS up to her is a decision on impeachment but that's a political hot potato so Pelousy is trying to duck it with "prison talk". She isn't accomplishing anything else either. Why do we need dems in office? Why are we paying them almost $200,000 a year to do nothing beyond advocating for things that are absurd, insane, and illegal?

Don't take this so lightly. It's not a joke. These people have already tried and convicted innocent people associated with Trump with process crimes. Those "good and decent, rank and file" members of the FBI tried to get Papadopoulos' wife to lie and turn on her husband with false testimony against her while she was very pregnant. As you can well imagine, she was extremely upset and that caused her to have a miscarriage. Do you think those "good, rank and file" FBI agents give one tinker's dam about that? Hell no. FISA judges, who are in on (present tense, ARE IN ON) the illegal warrants against Carter Page along with Mueller, Comey, et al are not just a few bad apples. EVERYTHING inside 495 is ready and willing to try and convict Trump over nothing but the fact that he exists and they WILL do it and probably succeed with the help of the likes of Lindsey Graham and the rest of the GOP. Geez, look at what they have already gotten away with and are being rewarded and promoted for doing so. Look at the people whose lives they've joyously destroyed and who will NEVER be made whole. Don't laugh. They are dead serious.

Agree with #19. So far, I've read about things I never would have have believed would happen in the United States, and NO ONE has been punished for it. Instead, innocent people have been framed and their lives ruined in the Deep State's quest to get President Trump. The cynic in me says no one will be punished because the people in charge of the CIA, the FBI, and other agencies are more interested in covering up and delaying in hopes that Trump will be defeated in 2020. My only hope is that Trump will be reelected and then things might change. However, we'll see vote fraud on an epic scale in the Democrats' zeal to defeat Trump. Watch for it in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Wisconsin. They got overconfident in 2016 and didn't bother because they were sure Hillary was going to win. They won't make the same mistake in 2020.

FTA "Trump, meanwhile, has continued to stonewall Democrats"every attempt to investigate his administration, personal finances and charges of obstruction of justice outlined by special counsel, Robert Mueller.". The people at Politico should have Sean Hannity recite the litany of actions already taken by the government to find Trump guilty of something - Cost of $30 million dollars, scores of subpoenas, kajillion FBI agents, early morning apprehensions, etc. etc. etc. etc. Meanwhile, The President and the First Lady are representing our country overseas with grace and style. Remember how Clinton would end press conferences when he was embroiled in the impeachment process, "Well, now I have to get on with the country's business." His party should take his advice and do the same.

There is just no civility from the party who demands it when their ox is being gored! Nancy is so far beyond her sell by date that she’s a cartoon, a vicious, confused cartoon. Our President is in Normandy to commemorate D-Day on behalf of all the American people. It used to be a water’s edge policy not to criticize a president when he was out of the country. Now that we have a very effective and pro-American President, they just can’t take it. Time to get all entrenched politicians, both parties, out of Office! They have enriched themselves at the trough of lobbyists. Use obummer’s “at some point, you’ve made make enough money,” quote. The statement, “I’ve been in Washington, 30, 40, or 50 years,” is a dead giveaway that it’s time to go! God help us!

Just think if Nancy were to say this sort of thing if she were living in the sort of government she promotes (i.e., socialism/communism). She would be in jail. And then she would be executed. THAT is the sort of government Nancy stands for. Mr. Trump stands for the sort of government that recognizes its people's right to express themselves freely, even irresponsibly at times. Nancy is not in jail. She will not be executed. She can say what she chooses. What horrible choices she and her ilk make!

The US House, led by Pelosi, has turned its back on a steadily increasing border crisis and withheld any support for President Trump in containing the crisis. Pelosi is an idiot and they all should be voted out, as traitors. To deny the citizens of the US their constitutional rights by denying our country's borders is treason. Period. The US Senate also will reap the fruits of this incredible irresponsibility. And, later on, they will all say they were for border security. The American people will know what they have done.

While you were sleeping, the Democrats (abetted by some deviant Republicans) have been working on a plan that would destroy the diversity of the American political system and bring the nation to the brink of civil war. The plan is called The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, and tens of millions of dollars have already been spent over several decades trying to implement it. Fourteen blue states and the District of Columbia have already joined the Compact, which means they are 70% on the way to making their proposal the law of the land.

The Trump administration is ending medical research by government scientists using human fetal tissue, a victory for abortion foes. At least one university's government funding will be terminated, effective immediately, although officials suggested that other research may allowed to continue under intense scrutiny. The policy change will not affect privately funded research that used human fetal tissue. Ending the use of fetal tissue by the government is a victory for anti-abortion activists, part of President Donald Trump's political base, as well as for his Vice President, Mike Pence, who has called the sale and use of fetal tissue 'horrific.'

RUSH: Speaking of Hillary Clinton, folks, we had this piece yesterday from the Federalist by Mr. H. A. Goodman, and it was one of those pieces that you read it, and you say, “Yeah, yeah.” You know it all, but you get kind of frustrated that you didn’t think of it all yourself. His point basically was (without rehashing the whole thing) that every bit of everything we know or think we know--every news item, every little bit of information that fed this narrative the past two years or three now, that Trump colluded with Russia--came not from American intelligence, not from British intelligence. It didn’t come from FBI intelligence.

Democrats on Capitol Hill are fuming over President Trump’s plan to deliver a speech at the Lincoln Memorial during the traditional July 4th celebration on the National Mall, saying the event should appear non-political. The U.S. Park Police confirmed this week that Trump planned to attend this year’s celebration, which typically brings thousands to the nation’s capital. “President Trump’s efforts to insert politics into a celebration of our nation’s history is extremely alarming,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said in a statement on Thursday.

I suppose the headline for this entry might need to become a regular Power Line series between now and election day. It was as predictable as the sunrise that Biden’s long-time support of the Hyde Amendment, which bans federal funding for elective abortion, would crumple under pressure from the Abortion Absolutists who now control Democratic Party dogma. I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that he crumpled so quickly. Get used to this. But I suppose that when you’re as wrinkled up as Joe is now, it is less noticeable when he crumples up under political pressure. David Harsanyi has a terrific Twitter compilation of Biden’s long-record

A new poll of 1,000 millennial dads and 1,000 baby boomer dads found that when a DIY task needs to be done at home, more than half of millennials prefer to call a professional. And when it comes to emergency “handiness” scenarios, millennial dads fall short in almost every category.

Sometimes you really have to wonder if the hosts of The View actually listen to anything coming out of their mouths. On Thursday’s show alone, the hosts politicized D-Day numerous times, connecting it to gay pride month in one segment, and in another segment, tying it to the southern border crisis. In that latter segment, co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin raged at the “illegal” and “despicable” funding cuts to recreational programs for illegal alien minors at the border, while Whoopi Goldberg claimed our soldiers died fighting in Normandy so we could take care of illegal alien kids.Whoopi began the discussion
