In the battle unfolding in Congress between the Democrats and Attorney General William Barr, I’m on the side of the United States Constitution. That means defending not only Mr. Barr but also President Trump. The two men stand on America’s legal bedrock. Which is why Mr. Barr was able to make short work of his Democratic questioners at Wednesday’s hearing in the Senate. His calm, straightforward testimony made it clear that he isn’t the caricature the Democrats have been drawing of him.

It´s a disgrace the way this man was treated yesterday during his appearance before congress.
If that didn´t prove to the American people what the dem party is composed of nothing will. Mr. Barr should have given them the bird and walked out !!!

I believe Mr. Barr walked into this with his eyes wide open. He knew what he was getting into when he accepted the position. The rats treat everyone from the other side of the isle the same way.
He also does not take the cr-p sitting down. Is it possible he is the one we have been looking for??

At some point, Mueller is going to understand how badly he has been screwed by his own little pit bull buddy Weissmann, and that’s when the fun really begins.
In the meantime, poor little fatso Jerry Nadler has to take down his circus tent — but the good news for Chairman Lardo is that with a few nips and tucks, the tent will make a perfect bathing suit just in time for Summer.

Thought I was watching a replay of that skirmish up on the Little Bighorn. AG Barr was Crazy Horse with Henry repeating rifles and the Dems were Custer’s boys with single shot Springfields and Spencer’s using crappy ammunition. Barr went through them like Schiff through a goose.

The democrats made crazed fools of themselves and AG Barr let them. He handled himself perfectly while the radical dems were disrespectful and unhinged. It was very satisfying to watch his measured and brilliant response to their rambling and vicious displays. It boggles the mind that democrats can even garner enough votes to get these dimwits elected. Who votes for these people? Yesterday’s hearing was an embarrassment but it did crystallize one thing, the democrat party has collapsed under the weight of its corruption, bitterness, and willful ignorance. Having that played out in front of the American people was a gift.

#5, if I read it right, that subpoena is for an unredacted Mueller report to be released.
Barr is on firm legal ground keeping Grand Jury testimony redacted. Nadler can pound sand.

Mazie, Spartacus and Wiilie Brown’s office couch warmer were perfect examples for why Americans are getting real tired of democrat nonsense.

We all saw how the left handled the Kavanaugh confirmation. These dims fall apart like this because they can and we let them. It makes you crave the opportunity to waterboard the judiciary committee dims to see what they know about dim collusion and the dossier.
AG Barr - 1
Judiciary Committee - 0

I find it disturbing that it is implied that the House, with NO credible reasons, could initiate impeachment. It is also disturbing that the dems are crazy enough to attempt this.
"That’s the line Messrs. Barr and Trump are walking."
No, it is the dems that are walking this line. They have shown that, in their lust for power, they are willing to exercise power that, once unleashed, cannot be chained again and can be used by anyone.
For example, the confirmation of judges has gotten easier because dems threw away constraints. Republicans have used these "new" rules to quickly fill positions with Trump´s conservative picks. We win. But it´s still a dangerous precedent since it weakens reasoned debate.
Should impeachment be a tool used to remove a duly elected president by a political party in power by whim? Or does "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors" set the bar? (The authors of the Constitution were negligent by including "misdemeanors" but probably never envisioned such an abuse.) Are the dems insane enough to crack this open to action by whim? If so, in 2014, the House and Senate were in Republican hands. They could have chosen to poke around in BO´s WH for some good causes. They knew better than to start such a game.
We have seen that being "in the right" is seldom enough to defend against lust for power.

I was listening to Bill O´Reilly yesterday and he said a friend and insider in the Democrat party told him the strategy of the party going forward is the relentless pounding of Trump between now and the election hoping to sway people against him and bring his pol numbers down. In reality they are swaying the voters against themselves and their unattractive and incompetent candidates. They´ve become the ghetto party and are visually repulsive and totally despicable to listen to.
Number one Crazy Mazie from Hawaii who needs to have her tongue amputated. She´s the poster girl of ugly. Kamala has a Hillary type personality...unlikable. And Blumenthal, is he the best Connecticut has? When he talks he sounds slimy like a snake.
As Dirty Harry once said. "Go ahead make my day"
Relentless pounding of President Trump will ensure his victory for reelection.

Even a casual read of the Constitution regarding congressional powers is enough to show what a dumb bluff Nadler and Shiff are tossing around. "I´ll send the House Sergeant at Arms to arrest Barr!" Goodness...is he really that ignorant? Yes!
The laws are totally on Barr´s and President Trump´s side. The Democrat crazies are merely making total fools of themselves, especially if they try the subpoena gambit. Barr knows his best move is now to quickly get on with indictments - Horowitz needs to wrap up his investigation and present his own report. It is likely going to be far more damning to the Democrats than they could have ever hoped the Mueller report could have been against the President.
Democrats are screaming in frustration, fear and - quite literally, mental anguish. There is nothing they can do now to head off this looming, gargantuan disaster. It is the opening of the door to that filthy bedroom they made for themselves and it is not going to be much fun for them.

Of course he´s in the right. You know why he ticks them off? Because he tells the unvarnished truth. That´s not a world that they can even begin to understand. He´s so authentic that it hurts, while they´re a group of sniveling liars. Little people trying to make themselves look like big people.

The Democrats are practicing gutter politics at the most immoral and vicious level. In the Senate "hearing", instead of asking questions, the Democrats used their time to attack Barr with slanderous diatribes.
They need to be voted out of office!

Whatever doubts conservatives may have had about AG Barr ..
.. thank you Dems (especially idiot Hirono) for "nudging" him our way.
If AG Barr was not motivated before, he should be now.

#4 - you are so right about Little Big Horn! The Lakotas had the 7th Cavalry out-gunned. We have Indian art which clearly pictures the difference.

I have to admit that I was in awe of AG Barr´s constraint and composure under the barrage of unfounded accusations hurled at him. Has congress always been this base? Why do states elect people who are unable to communicate in a reasoned, civilized fashion?
For a moment, while watching, I fantasized that John Wayne was sitting in Barr´s chair and reacted as only he would to someone calling him a liar!

Weissmann has already been fired from both the Star Chamber committee and from the Department of Justice, but he still has friends in the Media and Congress who are demanding his worst Scheiss be placed first among the things we ought to be considering.
Actually, the man has a bad track record. He´s cost the US government tens of millions, and he´s destroyed many innocent companies and their employees and executives.
He needs to be dragged before the bar of justice himself.
Not likely that will happen because he can blow the whistle on all sorts of other people ... like the Biden crime family.
So far AG Barr has managed to keep Weissmann´s Schiff from dominating the news. And good luck to him. He´s going in the right direction.
I wouldn´t put it past the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA crowd to be poisoning Mueller to make him compliant with their demands.
