If you read the Weissmann/Mueller report carefully one aspect stands out strongly; the Mueller investigation was fully committed to The Steele Dossier. (Snip) Repeatedly, the investigative unit references their mandate based around the Steele Dossier, and the mid-summer 2016 origin of the FBI counterintelligence operation. Why? Why was/is Crossfire Hurricane (July ’16) and the Steele Dossier (Oct. ’16) so important to the principle intelligence apparatus, and the Mueller team (’17, ’18, ’19)? I believe former NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers has told us the answer. In early 2016 Rogers caught on to a massive and pre-existing

A resurfaced tweet from Rep. Ilhan Omar saw the Minnesota Democrat claim U.S. forces killed “thousands” of Somalis during the 1993 “Black Hawk Down” mission -- despite multiple analysts concluding the number was much smaller. In the October 2017 tweet discovered by journalist John Rossomando, Omar was responding to a Twitter user who´d highlighted that more than a dozen U.S. soldiers were killed and another 73 were wounded in the Battle of Mogadishu, saying it was the “worst terrorist attack in Somalia history.”Omar, a Somali refugee who was then a Minnesota state representative, refuted the tweet, insisting that “thousands” of

Former Vice President Joe Biden has canceled plans to launch his 2020 bid for the White House in Charlottesville, Va., where a woman protesting a white nationalist rally was murdered when a car was driven into a crowd of activists in 2017. The last-minute change of plan could be an indication of disorganization in the Biden campaign organization, despite the many months it has had to prepare as the former 36-year senator from Delaware procrastinated over his announcement. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged divided fellow Democrats Monday to focus on fact-finding rather than leaping to talk of impeachment to hold President Donald Trump accountable for the “highly unethical and unscrupulous behavior” described in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. Pelosi acknowledged in a letter to rank-and-file Democrats that the party’s officeholders have a range of views on how to proceed. But she counseled them repeatedly to go after facts, not resort to “passion or prejudice” in the intense run-up to the 2020 presidential and congressional elections.

Now I would rather watch the Kardashians. Howard Kurtz, meanwhile, has reverted to his CNN form.(Snip) "On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s ´Cavuto: Coast to Coast,´ Fox News Analyst and host Howard Kurtz stated that some people on the right ´are going too far´ by claiming that the Mueller report completely exonerates President Trump “as if there’s no embarrassing or damaging material in here

Michael Goodwin of the New York Post has advised President Trump to not punch back twice as hard against those who conspired to overthrow his duly elected government with a manufactured crisis and lies about Russian collusion. Gee, while he´s at it Donald Trump can shave his head, lose the tan, stop tweeting, and only speak with a Teleprompter. Did Babe Ruth bunt with the bases loaded? Did Bart Starr take a knee on the last play in the Ice Bowl?(Snip)We are in win-or-die politics. This is no time to forgive and forget and move on.

The Democratic Party has a simple strategy: Continue pumping funds into Democratic candidates until traditionally Republican-leaning states turn purple, and then finally flip blue. It may have taken decades, but the steady stream of dollars to the Left is finally moving the needle. In Texas, Sen. Ted Cruz defeated Beto O’Rourke by less than two points, even though it’s been 40 years since a Democrat came within five percentage points of winning a Senate seat in the Lone Star state. Before Lucy McBath defeated Karen Handel in Georgia´s 6th Congressional District, a Democrat hadn’t held that seat since 1976

Oddly, neither Fox News nor anyone else captured the individual interviews on Sunday Morning Futures today. However, at the beginning of this scraped video Maria Bartiromo discusses the Weissmann/Mueller report with John Ratcliffe. (Snip) an important voice to consider because he is one of the few representatives who has viewed all of the redacted and classified documents behind ‘spygate’. Ratcliffe contemplates many of the questions that many people have about the origin of the Trump surveillance operation. Ratcliffe also mentions that Robert Mueller has been invited to testify before the House Judiciary Committee on May 22nd or May 23rd.

Sri Lanka police investigators said Monday the coordinated Easter Sunday attacks that targeted Christians and luxury hotel guests were the work of seven suicide bombers. The bombings, Sri Lanka’s deadliest violence since a devastating civil war ended a decade ago on the island nation, killed at least 290 people with more than 500 wounded, police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said. Twenty-four arrests have been made but no single group has claimed responsibility for the terror acts, the Sri Lanka Daily Mirror reports. Defense Minister Ruwan Wijewardena described the blasts as a terrorist attack by “a radical Islamic group.”

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said Robert Mueller’s openness to obstruction of justice accusations against President Donald Trump — in the context of the Mueller-led operation’s 448-page report — amounted to Mueller’s “final act of abuse of power,” offering his remarks in a Friday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. (Snip)Fitton stated, “You have this grave abuse of power by Mueller in suggesting obstruction where no obstruction took place. Attorney General Barr wasn’t fooled by Mr. Mueller’s implications and concluded there was no obstruction of justice. This is the final act

Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti has allegedly embezzled almost $2 million. The money was awarded to one of his clients, Alexis Gardner, to settle her suit against her ex boyfriend, NBA-player Hassan Whiteside. Instead of turning over the money, Avenatti allegedly blew the money on a private jet, the New York Post reported. Whiteside wire transferred $2.75 million of the $3 million settlement to Avenatti. Although Avenatti was entitled to $1 million of the settlement, he never handed off the remaining amount, the Los Angeles Times reporte

“I was sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President.” That was Senator Mitt Romney, after the Mueller report found no collusion with Russia on the part of the president. The Utah Republican wasn’t done. “I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia — including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interests in Ukraine.”

Democrat presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg used a question and answer session during an Iowa speech to claim numerous gun controls he supports are “completely compatible with the Second Amendment.” C-Span published the question and answer session, wherein an audience member stood and read aloud a question centered on school shootings. The questioner identified himself as a millennial, “a hunter,” and “a responsible gun owner.” He asked what “policies and measures [Buttigieg] would take to ensure responsible gun laws.” Buttigieg replied: Like you, I come from a place where gun rights are taken very seriously, and that’s okay. Sunday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” Rep. While discussing Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) support for Trump, Water said, “One of the things you have to think about is this; who are the patriots? Who will stand up for America when our obvious enemy is basically hacking into our electoral systems? Who is going to stand up for America and claim to be a patriot when they see that there are

Having just finished this Holy Week of 2019, we´ve been hearing a lot of hypocritical and selective moral outrage from people regarding all the money that is going to be spent to restore Notre Dame Cathedral. While I think it would be tragic to update it into a more modernistic and godless design due to its rich 800-plus-year Catholic history, the concept of spending lots of money to restore a cathedral does not bother me at all. In fact, it should bother us if people were unwilling to pour lots of money into a cathedral.

Old pols like Pelosi and Schumer and Biden surely knew the accusations that President Trump was a traitor, working hand in glove with Putin, were absurd and unfounded. In throwing their lot in with those accusing Donald Trump of being a traitor, they betrayed their country, their voters, the rule of law, and the foundations of our republican form of government. Their rejection of the Mueller exoneration was fore-ordained. They cannot and will not return to normal politics. The information that the Russia collusion investigation was based on Team Hillary’s oppo research was soon known.

For those of us who value art, culture, Christianity, history, pretty much every humanity and liberal art, the biggest fear isn´t the fire that devoured the roof of Notre Dame last April 15. It´s what they´re going to do now. What do France´s secular leaders mean when they say they are going to ´rebuild?´ Given that President Emmanuel Macron has put out a global contest for architects to send in their designs for rebuilding, what´s obvious from Twitter, at least, is that people are getting the creeps. Leftists have been licking their chops over 2020, citing a host of reasons why President Trump will definitely, definitely be defeated. Among these are the "crimes" in the newly released Mueller report; the supposed failure of the North Korea and China talks; and, most important of all, the anticipated decline of the economy ahead of the 2020 election — anticipated by the Left, that is. A recent report by Regions Financial group, summarized in Barrons, belies that assumption. (snip) existing home listings have declined because houses have been selling so well that there are fewer on the market.

Today is Earth Day, a celebration originally conceived by then-U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson (D-Wis.) and first held in 1970 as a “symbol of environmental responsibility and stewardship.” In the spirit of the time, it was a touchy-feely, consciousness-raising, New Age experience. Most activities were organized at the grassroots level. In recent years, however, Earth Day has become an occasion for professional environmental activists and alarmists to warn of apocalypse, dish anti-technology dirt, proselytize, and raise money more to sustain their movement than to sustain the planet. Provability inevitably takes a back seat to alleged plausibility.

From late 2015 until April 2019, the media, the Left, and the Obama administrative state hierarchy warned us nonstop that candidate, president-elect, and inaugurated President Trump “colluded” with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton, to assemble a suspect cabinet, and to rule in treasonous fashion in the interests of Vladimir Putin. The former head of the CIA and the director of national intelligence were birthed as permanent analysts at MSNBC and CNN to sermonize—with wink-and-nod assurances that their past billets and security clearances substantiated their authority—that the treasonous Trump would likely be impeached, indicted, or quit.

Did you know the United States leads the world in clean air? As I walk the halls of the Capitol, meeting with members of Congress and their staff about the energy policies that help and hurt our country’s future, I’m shocked how many people don’t know and can’t believe this fact. Over the last 50 years, harmful air pollution known as particulate matter has plummeted. Toxic pollutants like lead, sulfur dioxide, and carbon monoxide are now nearly nonexistent in our air. Ozone is down dramatically. We’re the only highly populated nation in the world to meet the World Health Organization’s

The Mueller Report, despite the best efforts of the chief author and his partisan investigative staff, is a bone-crushing defeat for the president’s enemies. There is not a whit of evidence that any American collaborated with any Russian to alter the results of the 2016 presidential election, and there is extensive evidence that the Trump campaign was the subject of enticements to collaborate and rebuffed all of them at all levels. The laborious bulk of Mr. Mueller’s minute description of completely inconsequential twists and turns in his investigation leaves the reader in no doubt of his thoroughness,

America got conned again. It was all a big set-up. A ruse. A dirty canard. The whole thing was one giant lie. And everybody peddling it — from House Democratic leaders, to Senate Democrats running for president, to the Senate Republican who reported the whole thing in the first place, to the roaring lions of the Great White Media — knew it was a lie. Sure, there are some — take sleazy lawyer Michael Avenatti, for instance — who are so monumentally stupid that he probably did not know that it was all a big con. It is not uncommon for newbies

While La Cosa Nostra no longer reigns supreme over organized crime, the mob is far from vanquished. Here´s everything you need to know: Is the mob still active? It would have been easy until a few weeks ago to assume Italian-American mobsters were extinct, and that´s exactly how Francesco "Franky Boy" Cali liked it. Investigators say Cali ran the Gambino crime family like a "ghost," conducting business strictly in person to avoid wiretaps, and insisting that his underlings do the same. Yet Cali, 53, was splashed on covers of New York City tabloids in March

Democrats obsessed with finding a candidate who can defeat President Trump are showing a willingness to give up their preferred candidates for the one they believe is the most electable. It´s an important trend that will leave many in the Democratic field touting their strengths in a potential general election — and could be particularly helpful to a candidate such as former Vice President Joe Biden, who is expected to put electability at the center of his campaign push when he enters the race next week. A Monmouth University poll in February found that 56 percent of those surveyed preferred electability

The Democrats, having unwisely invested enormous political capital in the ability of special counsel Robert Mueller to produce some pretext for impeaching President Trump, now face a choice between two evils. Most of the legacy media, the far left wing of their own caucus, and an obsessive megadonor all insist that Mueller provided enough ammunition for impeachment. But recent surveys, including new polls conducted after the full Mueller report was released, show that most voters are against ousting Trump. Consequently, the Democrats will inevitably be forced to alienate some crucial constituency no matter which course they choose on impeachment.

Say this for Democrats: They can be very effective — at least, when it comes to misleading Americans on taxes. That’s clear from the wide gap between the number of people who got tax cuts last year and the far smaller number who think they did. As even The New York Times (yes, the anti-Trump Times) noted, Tax Policy Center figures show 65 percent of taxpayers got tax cuts last year, thanks to the 2017 Trump tax reforms; just 6 percent had to pay more. Yet in early April, SurveyMonkey found only 40 percent of Americans believed they saw savings,

Can Notre Dame cathedral be destroyed twice — the first time by fire, the second by architects? And will the arrogance of an unpopular president trying for wokeness change the Paris skyline forever? Last week, all of France was in shock, tears and prayer, as the most famous and beloved church in the world was engulfed by hundred-foot flames. We watched as the cathedral’s delicate spire turned white-red and finally collapsed as night fell. It was our 9/11. The fire raged for most of the night at the very heart of the huge darkened church, like some demonic smelter.

The Trump administration is set to inform five nations that they will no longer be exempt from U.S. sanctions if they continue to import oil from Iran, reports said Sunday. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo plans to announce the policy move on Monday, which would no longer renew sanctions waivers for allies Japan, South Korea, and Turkey. The other countries no longer exempt are China and India. The waivers for sanctions will expire on May 2. The Washington Post first reported on the move, and three sources confirmed the report to the Associated Press.

The U.S. State Department on Sunday issued a revised warning on travel to Sri Lanka and said terror groups are continuing to plot and possibly carry out new attacks in hotels and churches. On Easter Sunday, a series of bombs exploded at churches and luxury hotels in the country, killing nearly 300. It was the deadliest series of attacks the South Asian island country had seen since a bloody civil war there ended a decade ago. Most of the attacks occurred in or around Colombo, the capital. The U.S. said “several” Americans were among the dead.
