Herman Cain has removed himself from consideration for a spot on the Federal Reserve´s board of governors, President Trump said Monday. The former pizza business CEO and presidential candidate had faced a difficult path to formal nomination and confirmation, including opposition from a critical mass of Republican senators. "My friend Herman Cain, a truly wonderful man, has asked me not to nominate him for a seat on the Federal Reserve Board. I will respect his wishes," Trump tweeted.
