Democrat presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg used a question and answer session during an Iowa speech to claim numerous gun controls he supports are “completely compatible with the Second Amendment.” C-Span published the question and answer session, wherein an audience member stood and read aloud a question centered on school shootings. The questioner identified himself as a millennial, “a hunter,” and “a responsible gun owner.” He asked what “policies and measures [Buttigieg] would take to ensure responsible gun laws.” Buttigieg replied: Like you, I come from a place where gun rights are taken very seriously, and that’s okay. The reality is,

Anyone who thinks that is incompatible with the presidency.

Laws are not ´responsible.´
People are. Like most gun owners.
People are also irresponsible - notably politicians who see the 2nd amendment as a large, omnipresent obstacle to amassing power.

Buttplug obviously needs to look up the word “infringed” and then study the words “shall NOT be infringed”.

I´m sure Buttfudge is totally familiar with all the different types of firearms and actions available and how they relate to so called assault weapons. He strikes me as a bit too effeminate to understand anything that could be masculine in nature.

His dad was an avowed Commie. Maybe young Pete went to a leftist public school and therefore can’t read at grade level?

Much like homosexuality is compatible with the Bible, I imagine.

According to Mayor Pete, here are some actions compatible with the First Amendment:
1) Jailing pastors who speak out against homosexuality.
2) Censoring conservative web sites.
3) Tear gassing a pro-life demonstration.
4) Destroying businesses that support traditional family values.

I must assume that by "gun control" buttfudge means 8 out of 10 in the 10-ring.

Hey Pete, just for kicks answer the following multiple choice question:
When the founders wrote the second amendment they did so right after they returned from which of the following:
1) A snipe hunt
2) A day at the target range
3) A hotly contested sporting clay tournament
4) Going to WAR, and overthrowing a tyrannical government
First point Pete, the dreaded assault weapons such as the AR15 are not and never have been a weapon of war.
Second, so what if they were, we have the second amendment so we the people can resist a government that gets too big for it´s constitutional britches.
And we aren’t going to put the fear of God in our government with the implements of late eighteenth century. We expressly have every right to possess current weapons technology capable of resisting that with is at the disposal of our government. You see partner that takes your “what about nuclear weapons” argument off the table since that’s not exactly a reasonable threat to be used against us by our government seeking to lord over us. It’s about the lord over us vs a steaming crater part.
One final test question before I leave you Pete:
What has resulted in more suffering, death and destruction throughout human history?
1) Free and armed citizens
2) Government killing their own citizens
3) Governments sending their citizens to die and kill in a war to enrich the government elites
4) #2 and #3 Combined in the absence of #1
A final thought for you Pete, the tragic deaths that occur in an armed society do not happen in a vacuum but are inexorably linked to an overwhelming net good by keeping their government from killing in far greater numbers.

Lord help us if a lunatic like this get elected using gun control as a mandate to destroy the 2nd.
Gun control is neither compatible with Second Amendment nor is it in any was associated with common sense.

Forget it, Bootieplug. You’re as close right now to higher office as you are ever gonna get. Boogerville, Indiana may buy your routine but I doubt even the rest of your home state does.

Pretending to care about everyone is how the rats amass power. Naive, and limited thinking people seem happy to become slaves for any dope who starts talking about a ´free´ lunch and ´making citizens´ safe.
Riddle me this Pete. Why aren´t you suggesting that all car owners be required to buy the ´safest´ car? Or why not insist that all swimming pools have ´smart´ locks that prevent non swimmers from using them? The numbers are obvious. MANY more people die from ´misuse´ of cars and swimming pools and NO one really needs a swimming pool. Save us Pete, fill in those swimming pools. For the children.
The people who should never touch a firearm are usually well known for other antisocial problems and the ones that have no record will get an ´illegal´ gun anyway. Many times right in front of the authorities who were supposed to not allow that to happen.

Further proving that this disgusting pervert is also interested in pushing us farther down the road to totalitarian tyranny. No laws which in any way restrict the right to keep and bear arms are compatible with the 2nd Amendment. None.
"shall not be infringed" is not nuanced, it is absolute. "Shall" in legal terms is an absolute command, without wiggle room. It is not "may", it is not "will", each of which can be flexible in differing degrees. "Shall" was selected precisely because it is an absolute command, entirely devoid of shades or interpretation.
"Infringe" was selected because it is similarly inflexible. ANY restriction, however slight, is an infringement. Again, a word selected very carefully by the founding fathers to permit no flexibility in interpretation.
"shall not be infringed" literally leaves no semantic room for any other interpretation besides absolute prohibition on any restrictions whatsoever.
We already have 20,000 unconstitutional laws infringing on the right to keep and bear arms. ALL of them would be struck down immediately by our founding fathers, if they were here today.

The point of the Second Amendment was to make sure that citizens had weapons of war to resist tyranny.

If elected President, Buttigieg would not be making new gun control laws, but what he would be doing is signing into law whatever anti-2nd Amendment excessive gun control laws that the leftist and liberal Democrats decided to pass in the Congress.
