Wyatt Earp. Elliot Ness. J. Edgar Hoover. Inspector Clouseau. James Comey. The names reflect a continuum, from greatness to farce and mediocrity. In the annals of U.S. law enforcement, no individual has reached such depths of disgrace as James “Cardinal” Comey. The “Cardinal” was a sobriquet that FBI agents used to denigrate their leader. As Deputy Attorney General, he was called “drama queen.” Known for his pomposity and self-regard, Comey cut a swath of arrogance unmatched in the histories of either of those illustrious organizations. He was the cult of personality. He surrounded himself with sycophants,

We can easily see why Comey was called a drama queen and The Cardinal at the FBI water cooler. His sorrowful schtick of self-righteousness goes all the way to pretending he doesn’t know how spying on Trump by the FBI could occur, and isn’t really sure what spying is.
The beauty is, we’ve all seen him do his routine on TV. It takes a child’s naiveté to believe a word from him.

Comey’s arrogance and dishonesty were on full display on Thursday when he was asked about AG Barr’s spying comment. He explained that if there was FBI surveillance, it was “court ordered” even though FISA courts only approve FBI requests to spy on US citizens in counter intelligence matters. With the FBI and DoJ required to swear that the evidence for such requests to spy on Americans was fully verified and honest. The FBI’s 4 FISA warrant requests to spy on candidate and President Trump via Carter Page were a mockery of the FISA process, and the disgraced Comey knows this, and surely knows he committed perjury by signing the requests.
One hopes that Comey can ponder his actions from a federal prison while enjoying several thousand prison meals with Obama, McCabe, Rosenstein, Strzok and others. Hillary, Lynch, Rice, Valerie Jarrett, Sally Yates, and Lisa Page would have eat crow in a separate lockup.

"DiGenova seems to put his hope on Huber, the attorney appointed by "do nothing know nothing" Jeff Sessions. So far Huber is just picking up a pay check like his appointer."
Just because we haven´t heard anything does not mean that nothing is being done. Perhaps, there are no leakers on that grand jury.

DiGenova gets it right. The article is an excellent read and excoriates Cardinal Comey. We, who are sitting on the sidelines, hope and pray that the perpetrators of this coup d’etat will be held accountable. Comey appears to be delusional in his comments especially since we all know the FISA warrants were attained with false information.
Huber should make sure that his work is thorough and above board. However, I was quite uneasy when it was reported that he had not done interviews with any of the people directly involved in the FISA applications. It seems that everyone is hedging their bets for fear that the democrats will be successful in destroying this President. I sincerely am dumbfounded that we do not see more outrage by the legal community when it is apparent that a direct assault on the Republic has been attempted in the form of a coup d’etat. You would think that such an audacious plan would light a fire under all those lawyers who claim to revere the law and Constitution. Just imagine their fury if this had been attempted under an Obama administration. We would have already had trials and people would be sitting in prison. The American people want justice-nothing more, nothing less.

I have listened to Joe for several years and he called that there was nothing on Pres. Trump year ago. He said they know within 3 months if there´s something"there". The first one to fess up gets the best deal and immunity. Comey´s ego will cost him bigly...

I hate to pour water on the Party but the FBI from it´s inception was an illegal wet dream of power hungry Politicians. It seems the American People have short memories when it comes to the hows and why´s things in Government are done. The Guvmint was jealous of all that tax money the Whiskey makers were selling after Prohibition took hold. So they conjured up another illegal Agency to smack the taxes out of them. And they have been murdering and torturing the Populous ever since.

"...there was a brazen plot by senior officials of the Obama Justice Department, FBI, CIA, NSC, and DNI "
Three short years ago I thought the FBI was the Marines of law enforcement; the CIA was a necessary tool to protect America; and the NSA was spying on Americans.
Now I think the FBI is corrupt and I would trust my local sheriff far more; the CIA has kept us in wars for their benefit and I agree with JFK that they should be "broken into 1000 pieces"; and I think the NSA is where the true patriots are in control.

This liar started his crooked ways years earlier when he ´did a favor´ for Lockheed. Was made VP for a year and left with a $6 mill. severance pay and double digit stock options. This corrupt overgrown dwarf knows how to play his cards and come out big on top. Can´t wait for the registered commie to wear an orange jumpsuit for the rest of his life!

J Edgar Crossdresser was a tyrant, a bully, a racist, a homophobe, a blackmailer, and an extortionist. The FBI was born in a cesspool of corruption - Prohibition. It never left. The Obama KGB Gestapo - DOJ/FBI/CIA /NSA needs to be de-funded, dismantled, and demolished. Fire everybody, start over.

I don´t put much more faith in Christopher Wray than in Comey. I think he is also Deep State. He is being very quiet during this whole Blowup. I think he needs to be replaced by someone who Trump can trust. I nominate Joe DeGenova! He is qualified and would start cleaning house on day one! Also, Why is it we don´t hear ANYTHING about the FISA Judges? They HAD to be in on this whole coup attempt!!

Compared to this attempt by non-elected officials of the Zerobama Administration intelligence community, DOJ, and FBI t0 overthrown the legitimate election of a U.S. President, this makes "Watergate" trivial in comparison.
Why aren´t these people -- Brennan, Clapper, Comey, et. al. -- being prosecuted for treason?
What about Zerobama himself??

There are no "True Patriots" in Washington. There are plenty of politicians, judges and lawyers of all stripes, professional climbers, schemers, lobbyists for hire...as nauseum, ad infinitum.
No agency is more "patriotic" than any other. The proof that there are no "true patriots" in this case is that the Intel Community and law enforcement put aside their oaths and NOT ONE came forward to my knowledge to blow this thing up.
Adm. Mike Rogers is perhaps the singular exception...the one that proves the above rule. A full fumigation of these agencies is necessary, and the dissolution of those FISA courts.

Comey tried to claim that what he did was not spying because it had been authorized. When the "authorization" is obtained through fraud and lies, and in several cases after the fact, that "authorization" is invalid.
If there is any integrity in the FISA court, they will declare the "authorization" invalid due to the dishonest way it was obtained.

For those who may not have noticed, if/when the news clip is run again, take note of James Comey’s stride toward President Trump after President Trump called out to him while he was trying to remain nondescript, blending in with the folds of the drapery. As he walks toward President Trump, he holds his hands much like altar boys do in an outward display of piety while serving at a Catholic Mass.

Thank you #5 for your comment; I also agree that there is a lot of work being done that we do not know about. I believe that by late summer or early fall we should be seeing some arrests take place.
I also agree in part with #10. I´m also disenchanted with the FBI and the CIA especially. The CIA is heavily involved in the drug and child trafficking trades. I also think that - for now at least - the NSA is in the hands of patriots.

My hope is that the axe of justice will fall on Valerie Jarrett first and foremost. Since obama never had an original thought aside from Jarrett, she must have been the author of the entire "Get-Trump" plan.

Excellent, but it seems that Mr. DiGenova still believes in Huber´s investigation. Is that reasonable? Is there more moving under the surface than we now know?
And on these criminal conspirators:
FTA:"they all share a common bond: allegiance to a cause unrelated to the Constitution, a cause borne of disdain for the average American and dedicated to power and its use and abuse against political “enemies.”"
Yes, exactly.
I hope Huber has been actually doing something, now I really wonder about that.

I agree with #15 - I don´t have any trust in Wray at all. I think he´s lying low, hoping it will all die down until they get to him. I saw him speak one time, being very defensive about the FBI. And he always looks smug.
And also about the FISA judges, we hear not a thing. Very possible they were in on the plot. DeGenova is a prominent lawyer, perhaps he may know about what has been going on with Huber through sources.

In theory, Sleepy Sessions appointed Huber (a dem United States Attorney in Utah) to investigate all this crap, working hand-in-glove with FBI Inspector General Horowitz. It has been announced that Horowitz´s next IG report should be coming in June, which means July or August, if Huber is even doing anything on this matter.
There was another Horowitz IG report that came out a while back, but I guess it wasn´t the final or full report. That report was couched in exceedingly timid language and was not sufficiently scathing or assertive to form the basis of an indictment, except that it did conclude that McCabe had lied under oath a couple of times. Horowitz´s report was used as the basis to fire McCabe a few days before his pension would be fully vested.
Why McCabe hasn´t been indicted, I can´t imagine. Just foot-dragging by the prosecutors, I´m thinking. McCabe collected over half a $million in donations for proposed attorney fees to defend him in court.

#9 you are correct. Go back and look at history. Look at how many times the FBI and CIA have been used by men of ill repute. Johnson and Hoover used them easily to get the power he had.
I could go on but there is a limit on the number of words I can use.
