Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Tuesday called vacancies at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) "dangerous" and "seriously troubling." Romney made the comments during a hearing of the Homeland Security Committee two days after President Trump announced the departure of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. "It is dangerous, given what’s happening at the border, dangerous given the broad responsibility that the Department of Homeland Security has for protecting our nation," Romney said. "It is seriously troubling."
Someone please shut this idiot up... I don´t care how you do it...

What crisis at the border? I thought there wasn´t one? Isn´t that what "wall" opponents have said?

Romney continues to beclown himself. He, like every other Rino can’t wait to find the nearest microphone to criticize any decision that the President makes. It must stick in his craw to know that he failed where Donald J. Trump succeeded being the entitled elitist he is. Men like Romney will never get a man like Trump. He is an enigma to him because Trump is a principled doer while Romney is wavering opportunist.
I still can’t figure out why Utahans allowed this guy to manipulate the system the way he did in order to win the primary. That alone should have been proof enough that Romney was lacking in integrity. Is he really there to serve the people of Utah or use his position to be a thorn in the side of this President.

Romney is desperately trying to be relevant and he is making it painfully obvious. He lost. Trump won.

The Left has its Joe Biden, we have our Mitt Romney. The dunce couldn´t even compete with a drugged-up Barack Obama in a debate where the average fourth grader could have shredded him.

So what´s up with this constant going to Romney? Is it to promote him or to annoy and inflame those who see him as a threat to the president?
Are we being played? Is his serious troubling comment aimed at the president removing people and attempting a reboot or is it a comment to bipartisanship needed by dem quick approval of new employees?
This isn´t fake news but is baked news IMO. Baked up to rile the usual? A pox on all the media manipulators.

I sat out the election rather than vote for him. I voted for mccain once, I wasn´t going to vote for his clone.

This Janus needs to seriously be quiet. He only makes himself look like the whining whinger he truly is. Utah, NYC, Wisconsin and Minnesota have all beclowned themselves this past election with the vile losers they all elected to congress.

What´s dangerous and troubling, Mitt, is that there is practically NO ONE trustworthy to fill Administrative positions. I´m beginning to wonder if everyone above the level of School Board Member should be targeted for imprisonment or elimination. It really sucks that those who promise to serve you, only use you, again, and again, and again...
Hell! the vacancies in Homeland actually make me feel SAFER!!!

Well, Mittens, maybe if you had been half the fighter that President Trump is, you would have won your presidential election. Any fool could see that that election’s outcome was fixed. But, you just caved like a good, little Country Club Republican. And, as such, YOU are partially responsible for the near destruction of our country under The Messiah’s regime. I would love to know what back room deals were made, both then and now.

Don´t worry, Romney. POTUS has named acting officers to fill the vacancies. POTUS prefers acting heads that he can remove when they do not perform, and do not require 2 or more years for confirmation, including defamations of them and their family. I have not heard Romney say or do anything, not ever, of any use to anyone.

Romney is turning himself into a RINO joke.
Everyone of the DHS positions that are being vacated are being immediately filled by mostly very competent career federal managers who will hold down the positions until new permanent managers assume those positions.

Romney is too stupid or too RHINO to understand that openings in DHS are less dangerous that having those positons filled by people who are incompetent or are not implementing the presidents policies, but in fact fighting them. Utah should be ashamed to have inflicted this spineless, Democrat lite idiot on the rest of us. Make him your governor so you keep his BS in-house and not inflict him on us.

Trump has probably heard and believes, "If God be for you, who can be against you?" Here is another translation for Mitt: "If God is for him, you may as well be for him." Unless your argument is with his God?
