Community organizers quickly assembled a rally near the site of the shooting, drawing scores of protesters who marched from City Hall and Republican Senator ‌Susan Collins' office, disrupting local traffic as they chanted for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to get out of Maine. It's funny how they all spring into action on a Tuesday morning. Do any of them have gainful employment or other responsibilities?

This "fatal ICE shooting" was precipitated by the ILLEGAL alien trying to kill the ICE officer, who defended himself.

A massive bull bison tossed a tourist into the air, seriously injuring him, in a heart-pounding caught-on-camera attack at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Video shows the unidentified man being thrown 8 feet in the air like a ragdoll by the wild bison at the Bridge Bay Campground Friday, Cowboy State Daily reported. The tourist was walking with his grandson when the powerful herbivore attacked. Video shows the man running around a copse of pines to try to escape the bull, which was giving itself a dust bath moments earlier. The bison suddenly charged the two tourists, and then viciously

Michigan’s primary is now the main proxy battlefield for the ideological war in the Democratic Party. The embattled left is unleashing its top star next week in what it hopes will stop the bleeding from the damaging collapse of Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner. “Squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) will co-host with comrade Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) rallies called “The People vs. The Powerful” July 18-19 on behalf of Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed. “El-Sayed now owns the political liabilities that come with AOC’s endorsement and her socialist spending spree. Together in Congress, they would saddle Michiganders with crippling tax hikes

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) sparked alarm on the left this week when it was reported that he and fellow Pennsylvania Sen. David McCormick (R-PA) set up a joint fundraising committee. (Snip) Fetterman’s battle against the rising Democratic Socialists in his party and fierce support for Israel have left him at odds with progressives and many in the Democratic Party, leading to speculation he may switch to the GOP amid the tight battle for control of the Senate. Fox News’s liberal host Jessica Tarlov highlighted Fetterman’s recent teaming up with McCormick and replied, “So so bad.” Rick Wilson, the longtime political

MADISON, Wis. — Over the last month, Democratic socialists have notched victories in the liberal strongholds of New York City, Washington, D.C., and Denver. Now Francesca Hong, a single mother who has worked as a dishwasher and line cook, is trying to do the same with her campaign for governor in Wisconsin, a swing state known for razor-thin election margins where winning over moderate, independent voters is crucial. Hong’s candidacy has turned the Democratic primary on Aug. 11 into the latest test of just how far left voters are willing to go in the November midterms. “We do this in

MAINE — According to an email from Maine Democratic Party Chairman Charlie Dingman that was obtained from a source by Maine's Total Coverage, an emergency meeting of the state Democratic State Committee is being held on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. That meeting is being held virtually and is scheduled for 90 minutes. Platner, the Democratic nominee challenging Republican Sen. Susan Collins, has faced growing calls to drop out following sexual assault allegations, which he has denied. The controversy has prompted Democrats in Maine and nationally to urge him to withdraw so the party can move forward with another candidate. “While

BANGOR, Maine — Maine author Stephen King appears to be standing behind Graham Platner, even as the Senate candidate faces allegations of sexual assault and growing calls to end his campaign. Posting on 'X' shortly after POLITICO published testimony from a Maine woman who accused Platner of assaulting her in 2021, the prolific horror writer wrote "Graham Platner may drop out. I hope he doesn't, but." King then went on to reference President Donald Trump, and the numerous sexual misconduct allegations he has faced over the years, calling him the "Abuser in Chief." President Trump has consistently denied several public allegations

Surprise! Late Hollywood icon Rob Reiner's final TV role is all about skewering President Donald Trump. The "When Harry Met Sally" director, who died in December, made an unannounced posthumous appearance in the July 3 episode of Larry David's history-themed HBO sketch comedy "Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness," which is produced by former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama. At the end of the episode, Reiner played George Washington in a sketch centered on roasting Trump without ever saying his name, and Trump's least favorite late-night comic, Jimmy Kimmel, even got involved. If you look at George W. Bush, people—his reputation has gone up a little bit because he broke with [Donald] Trump, the next Republican. I’m not sure he voted for Trump, and he made his peace with [Barack] Obama. There were three things that people fault Bush for. I’m not sure he was responsible. No. 1 was the Iraq War. No. 2 was the Afghan War. No. 3 was the 2008 financial meltdown. I think he was the most conservative Republican president that we have had since forever. He was much more conservative than his father, George H.W. Bush. He tried to do a lot of things.

This operation continued until its final hit on February 14, 1988, in Cyprus. Between nine and 11 key

New York has spent years aggressively taxing its wealthiest residents in the name of fairness, and the results are now in. Suffice it to say, they’re not pretty. A new study released Monday by the Citizen Budget Commission (CBC) reveals the state’s share of America’s millionaires has dropped sharply since 2010, triggering a nearly $11 billion shortfall in tax revenue in a single year as high earners quietly packed up and left for lower-tax states. The analysis shows New York’s share of millionaires fell from 12.7% in 2010 to just 8.7% in 2022 — the steepest decline of any state in the country. As a direct result,

Publishers Weekly put the book on its list of that year’s top books, while the American Historical Association handed Greenidge the Joan Kelly Memorial Prize, which honors scholars in women’s history and feminist theory.

This past Memorial Day, more than 1,000 teens swarmed the blocks around Lake Michigan in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. A resident described the scene: “Hundreds of people were walking and running down our street, jumping on top of cars, twerking, smoking blunts.” One group twerked on the top of a city bus. At about 9 pm, the Chicago Police Department closed Lake Shore Drive. As sirens wailed, the Hyde Park resident armed himself with bear spray to retrieve something from his car. An hour later, a gunman shot three teens a block from the resident’s home. The suspect remains at large, though police made 13 arrests for illegal gun possession,

Is it to help the students? Obviously not.

Democrats have many problems, not the least of which is an inability to understand, and for some the refusal to accept, basic economics. If they did, there wouldn’t be proposals to raise the federal minimum wage to a preposterous $25 an hour. House Resolution 8555 would “place the federal minimum wage on a durable path toward a living wage,” requiring “large, highly profitable corporations to lead the transition.” Under its yoke, large employers would have to raise their lowest wage from the current $7.25 an hour to $15 an hour on Jan. 1, 2027, a more-than-double spike that would shock the market.
