U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee, has blocked the Trump administration’s steps toward banning the purchase of soda with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, more commonly known as food stamps. In a graduate-level course, "Diversity, Human Rights and Social Justice," instructor Jessica Adams showed a pyramid graphic listing statements and actions that she called overt forms of white supremacy, which included lynching and racial slurs.
Alongside these acts was a list of what Adams calls covert white supremacy, which includes the Trump campaign slogan "Make America Great Again"

The Minneapolis City Council voted 9-2 on Thursday with one abstaining to repeal the longstanding ban on adult bathhouses and businesses where people can have sex in the city.
