Krasner’s record is the subject of a scathing new opinion, which accuses him of leading a dishonest effort to undermine major criminal cases to engineer new trials for defendants. An Indiana University professor who presented the slogan "Make America Great Again" as a form of white supremacy that is "worse than police killing people of color" is no longer employed at the institution.
In a graduate-level course, "Diversity, Human Rights and Social Justice," instructor Jessica Adams showed a pyramid graphic listing statements and actions that she called overt forms of white supremacy, which included lynching and racial slurs.
Alongside these acts was a list of what Adams calls covert white supremacy, which includes the Trump campaign slogan "Make America Great Again"
The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday reinstated the murder conviction for 64-year-old Pedro Hernandez, who was found guilty in the 1979 killing of six-year-old Etan Patz in New York City. U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee, has blocked the Trump administration’s steps toward banning the purchase of soda with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, more commonly known as food stamps. (snip) A USDA spokesperson told the Hill that “the idea that taxpayer funds should not be used to purchase junk food should not be controversial.”
“USDA will not be backing down from the fight to Make America Healthy Again, including for families and communities reliant on SNAP,” the spokesperson continued.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced Monday the capture of a man in Turkey who allegedly helped orchestrate a $3.7 billion Medicare fraud scheme and said the man has been brought back to the United States to face charges.
