There must be something about the month of May for the radical "protesters" at Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey, because May 2026 has been a lot like May 2025 in terms of the wild scenes that have unfolded there over the past two weeks. RedState has extensively covered the clashes that the anti-ICE demonstrators have instigated with immigration enforcement agents, with one situation involving a violent agitator who allegedly kicked and bit two agents. New Jersey resident Brendan John Geier, 26, has been arrested in that case. Another disturbing incident involved an agitator caught on tape threatening to kill an ICE agent and their family. The suspect, 27-year-old Brooklynite

Paid professional protesters. Wonder how it feels going through life perpetually angry. Guess getting paid for, even if you don't know what you're angry about, makes it much easier. The ANTIFA protesters will get a pass from liberal NJ prosecutors and judges just like in Portland.

Lock them up inside the ICE facility at which they are protesting and deport them "by mistake" to someplace pleasant, like McMurdo Station, Antarctica.

Crossing State lines with the intent of carrying out acts of violence, interfering with Federal law enforcement operations, and making terroristic threats against Federal agents and their families for starters, so, I'm pretty sure there's a Federal indictment lurking somewhere in that mangled miscreant mess. /s

Why not flock to Jersey when they have a governor more concerned with Federal ambitions than simply running the state? She enabled it, owns it, now just has to fear that voters understand it and demand she starts doing her job for Jersey.

First priority for the Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency should be to identify all aliens, defined in the Immigration Laws as anyone who is not a citizen or national of the USA, who have been taking part in the so-called demonstrations that are really violent riots at the ICE detention facility in New Jersey. As one of the terms of those aliens admission to the USA was that they would obey the US Immigration Laws while they are in the USA as either tourists or foreign students or as permanent resident aliens (green card holders). If some of those aliens turn out to be illegal aliens who gained unlawful entry to the USA usually across a land borderline with aid from international people smugglers, without being admitted to the USA as required by the Immigration Laws, they have been deportable from the get-go. Once identified, ICE should arrest, detain, and place all those aliens under deportation proceedings, as such aliens cannot successfully claim that they have been obeying the Immigration laws when they have taken part in riots that advocate assaulting and threatening US Immigration Officers, their families, and generally obstructing the effective enforcement of the Immigration laws which are Federal criminal offenses. Once it is publicized that such aliens have been deported most other aliens will take notice and stay away from such riots in the future.

These few are just useful idiots. Those behind the rioting are never going to get tear gas in their eyes and are safe in NGOs and foreign countries. Squeeze the blood out of those arrested and follow the dots back to the source.

Mullin had better get his act together quickly. If as I suspect it turns out he's a hollow shell of macho bluster , Trump must 86 him fast. Time is running out.

Ten days and counting of anti-ICE riots outside New Jersey’s Delaney Hall. Threats made to the safety of performers booked for a national celebration of America’s 250th birthday. We could be in for another long, hot summer of leftist violence. Last week rocker Bret Michaels pulled out of the planned Freedom 250 State Fair in Washington, DC, citing “concerns” regarding “the safety of my fans, band, crew, family and myself, including threats that are completely unfounded and unforgivable.” An earlier Freedom 250 event was marred by vandalism, NBC News reported Tuesday, when saboteurs cut fuel lines and contaminated the National Mall.

In California, the term “Election Day” is really a misnomer — it’s election month, at least. Ballots were sent out for Tuesday’s primary on May 4 to every eligible voter, which amounts to over 23 million people. Folks have been voting ever since. So Tuesday marks the end of a seemingly never-ending period that ends this evening; it’s hardly election day. Well, perhaps we’ll know the winners and the losers by the end of the evening, you might argue, so we can still call it "election night." The S&P 500 rose 0.1% after drifting between small gains and losses through the day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 228 points, or 0.4%, and the Nasdaq composite edged up by less than 0.1%. All three set all-time highs. Hewlett Packard Enterprise helped lead the market, and its stock soared 19.5% after it reported a profit for the latest quarter that blew past analysts’ expectations. It credited demand from customers building their artificial-intelligence capabilities. Marvell Technology leaped 32.5%

There have been some in your caucus, including, Cory Booker and, John Fetterman, notably, who’ve criticized Platner and raised questions about whether he’s the right nominee in that race. The number of open jobs in the U.S. economy jumped to 7.6 million in April while layoffs declined, evidence of how demand for workers has intensified. At the end of April, there were just over 7.6 million open positions, up from about 6.9 million at the end of March, according to the Labor Department’s monthly report on job openings and labor turnover. This is the largest number of job vacancies in two years. The manufacturing sector saw openings rise to 474,000, up 24,000 from the previous month and 98,000 higher than a year ago. The monthly increase was entirely in durable goods businesses, as nondurable goods openings remained flat.

The U.S. Supreme Court on June 2 intervened again to confirm its previous ruling that will allow Alabama to move forward with a map eliminating racial gerrymandering. In Allen v. Milligan, SCOTUS ruled 6-3 that Alabama is right to redraw its congressional map to eliminate race-based districts, just as it ruled in Louisiana v. Callais and Allen v. Caster. The Voting Rights Act does not allow race-based gerrymandering, the Court previously ruled, and that still holds true in spite of an activist District Court. The reality is that judicial activists are mad because the map is likely to favor Republicans once it is drawn

It may come as no surprise that the Texas Senate candidate infamous for declaring that “God is nonbinary” attends a left-leaning church, but the religious home of James Talarico is so absurdly “woke” that Americans might be forgiven for questioning whether it is a church at all. St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas, has repeatedly featured an LGBTQ+ “pride” flag hanging over the cross that stands at the front of the sanctuary. This symbolism is telling on multiple levels. First, it obscures the symbol of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, seemingly prioritizing the rainbow flag

The Trump administration has bent over backward to negotiate an end to Iran’s grand plans to develop nuclear weapons—before the June 2025 bombing, afterward, and again during the follow-up diplomacy of spring 2026. Yet Iran is unlikely ever to abandon its pursuit of the bomb voluntarily. With nuclear weapons, Tehran hopes to become the de facto hegemon of the Middle East. Only then could it effectively coerce or deter both Israel and the wealthy Arab Gulf states. And that is the charitable view, one that excludes the possibility of a messianic Shiite theocracy believing that eliminating the “one-bomb” state of Israel would forever ensure the Shiite minority permanent preeminence
