President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday asking AI companies to let the federal government take a look at their most powerful models before releasing them to the public. No mandatory reviews. No licensing. No federal approval process. Just a request, with a 30-day window to act on it.
The order puts America's most advanced AI to work defending power grids, hospitals, and government networks before China or criminal actors find the holes first.
Trump wrote in the order that America leads the world in AI because his administration cut the regulatory dead weight the Biden White House piled onto developers and researchers.
One of the few useful points from the DNC's aborted "autopsy," released two weeks ago by Ken Martin while renouncing it at the same time, focused on the Democrats' problems with men. Specifically – or as specifically as the report managed to get – the analysis pointed to Democrats' embrace of identity politics as particularly alienating to male voters, even those otherwise in minority demos:
Male voters require direct engagement. The gender gap can be narrowed. Deploy male messengers, address economic concerns, and don't assume identity politics will hold male voters of color.

It is now so common for leftists, indeed most Democrats, to call Trump supporters Nazis that it's easy to shrug and move on.
Unfortunately, as much as we would like to think it is a mere rhetorical flourish, it is not one at all. If you think that Democrats aren't serious when they propose what sound like insane measures, just remember what they did during COVID, what they are doing with alphabet ideology (literally sterilizing and mutilating kids and putting sex offenders into girls' locker rooms), and what they did to President Trump before his reelection.

Last week, perhaps in response to Republicans mocking him as “Low-T Talarico,” his campaign cleverly revealed that he does, in fact, have a girlfriend, and she isn’t some mystery girl who lives in Niagara Falls, either. Her name is Brianna Manard, and she’s a radical left-wing lobbyist.

Bill has written here and here about Henry Nowak, the 18 year old Briton who was stabbed to death by Vickrum Digwa, a Sikh. The perpetrator, having stabbed Nowak, collaborated with family members to put out the story that Nowak was a “racist,” while his mother hid the murder weapon. This is the call that Digwa’s brother made to report the crime. The suggestion that the victim was a “racist” was all that London Southampton police needed to hear: Police officers arrived on scene. Henry Nowak, dying from stab wounds, could not respond coherently to their questions, although he did say that he couldn’t breathe.

It’s been a rocky spring for President Donald Trump, at least as far as his favorability ratings go among voters. That’s the bad news. But there’s also good news for Trump: His ratings showed little change in the latest I&I/TIPP Poll, as he moves toward a deal with Iran that will reopen the Mideast’s oil spigots.
The national online I&I/TIPP Poll each month asks voters to assess presidential performance. June’s poll was taken from May 26 through May 28, and included a sample of 1,589 adults, with a margin of error of +/-2.7 percentage points.
