Deportation Debate

Xavier Becerra, the frontrunner in the race for California governor, has frequently drawn a line between deporting illegal migrants with criminal records and those without – at least in theory. (snip) Becerra has been far more reticent about how he would treat illegal immigrants with serious criminal records. The question is a pressing one for all California Democrats after Assemblywoman Mia Bonta, wife of state Attorney General Rob Bonta, sponsored a bill that would require the state to pay for an attorney for every illegal immigrant. She has declined to say whether the bill would bar people with violent felony convictions from accessing taxpayer-funded legal aid to fight deportation.

Common sense will tell you that if it came about where the USA would no longer be able to deport illegal aliens with no known criminal records, the entire Third World consisting of untold millions of such illegal aliens could gain unlawful entry to the USA, just stay, and be made US citizens. Once that happened the USA would never be able to enact and enforce any effective immigration laws on into the future. Chances are upon political promises of handing out all forms of “free stuff” to the untold millions of “New Americans” the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats would gain and retain permanent political power across what remained of the USA and would be able to transform the country into some sort of socialist utopia.

The Department of Justice on Friday asked Georgia federal judge Eleanor Ross to recuse herself from a pending case involving election records, citing media reports identifying Ross as the same judge who was disciplined for attending a victory party for a district attorney’s campaign. The DOJ said that if Ross is that judge, “it creates the appearance of bias,” because the victory party would have been in May 2024 for Fulton County DA Fani Willis, who prosecuted President Donald Trump for an alleged conspiracy to overturn the results of his 2020 election loss in Georgia to former President Joe Biden.

From the jump, we all know the E. Jean Carroll story smelled fishy. It was a very obvious political hit job against President Trump. And it came at a time when Dems were throwing everything they had at him to try and end his political aspirations for 2024(snip) The issue is all about her testimony… specifically about the funding of the case. She allegedly said no one besides herself was paying her legal fees, even though it later came out that a nonprofit backed by billionaire Dem donor (and Epstein Island fanboy) Reid Hoffman helped fund her entire case. A federal judge blocked the Trump administration’s $1.776 billion anti-weaponization restitution fund Friday after plaintiffs claimed the fund was politically discriminatory because it helped victims of Democrat administrations. The Department of Justice created the fund earlier this month to provide restitution for targets of federal political persecution regardless of political affiliation. U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema, an appointee of President Bill Clinton with a history of ruling against the Trump administration, temporarily blocked the Justice Department from establishing the fund while Brinkema hears legal arguments.

Put together, Steger notes how all of these move’s work together with a massive surge in energy, technology and productivity

A federal database built to flag and remove drunk and drugged truckers from U.S. highways used the equivalent of an “honor system” as its last line of defense between a family in a minivan and a substance addict steering an 80,000-pound mass of steel. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) launched its Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in early 2020 to improve road safety by providing employers, law enforcement, and state agencies with real-time information on substance-use violations by commercial driversThat’s how Brandon Blackburn, 34, was able to get back on the road, he told The Epoch Times.

The United States has secured long-term access to one of the world's largest untapped rare earth deposits, a move that could reduce its future dependence on mineral-rich African nations as Washington races to build a critical minerals supply chain independent of China. REalloys, a Florida-based rare earth materials company, has signed a 15-year offtake agreement with Critical Metals Corp. covering 15% of Phase 1 production from the Tanbreez project in southern Greenland. The deposit is among the world's largest known sources of heavy rare earth elements, including dysprosium and terbium, two minerals essential for fighter jets, missile systems, radar platforms, drones and other advanced defence technologies.

The next step will be Joe Biden’s inevitable presidential memoir, which is sure to have quite a few doozies in it, but for now, we have Jill’s, and if she thought her book would “set the record straight” and the Democrat Party would be thrilled, well, that’s not what’s happening at all. Instead, it's setting the Democrat Party on fire — and the people most enraged are the ones who spent years covering for Joe Biden. According to Axios, several former Biden aides, including

He actually held the role for roughly 18 months before quitting to launch his Senate campaign—and it was largely a "clerical" one, according to local records and people familiar with the position.
