No matter how bizarre or puzzling or impossibly complex crime scenes seemed to be, the detective Sherlock Holmes, accompanied by his friend Dr. John Watson — both fictional characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in the late 1800s — never failed to solve them. Using keen observation — actually noting teeny, tiny, sometimes microscopic details that eluded even the sleuths at Scotland Yard — as well as the forensic science of the day, Holmes astounded the experts and ultimately became one of the most popular figures in all of literature...to this day!

Spot on. I only wish this had been written by some prominent Gentile. As otherwise true, she will sadly be mostly ignored.

While I don't understand Jews' politics, I don't wish them ill. I only wish they'd fall out of love with socialism, communism, and liberalism.

Abraham Lincoln: Conservative And Pragmatist 0 replies
Posted by FlyRight 5/9/2026 9:57:16 AM Post Reply
In the modern imagination, Abraham Lincoln is a figure so overexposed that he risks becoming invisible. His face is carved into mountains, printed on currency, and invoked with ritualistic reverence by politicians who would scarcely recognize the discipline of mind that animated him. Yet beneath the marble stillness lies a moral and intellectual temperament that is, by contemporary standards, almost alien: austere, rational, cautious, and yet quietly aflame with conviction. To recover Lincoln as a moral beacon and a conservative thinker is not merely an antiquarian exercise. It is an indictment of our own age, which confuses noise for thought, fervor for principle, and rupture for reform.

An ugly internal power struggle in Iran is muddying mediation talks with the US, as pro-war and pro-deal factions battle it out over whether Tehran should ever surrender, sources familiar with mediation efforts tell The Post. Though Iran’s political elites — including its president, foreign minister and parliamentary speaker — have been at the center of efforts to hammer out peace terms, regional sources told The Post that it’s Iran’s military leadership that ultimately has the power to accept or reject any agreement. “One faction there right now is at its highest point ever in its history — the IRGC,” a source told The Post.

Treasury Department Goes After Dark Money 1 reply

On April 23, the US Treasury Department announced that the IRS plans to revise Form 990—the annual information return filed by tax-exempt organizations—to improve transparency and strengthen oversight, specifically targeting reporting on government contracts, government grants, and fiscal sponsorship arrangements. The stated goals are to detect misconduct and hold wrongdoers accountable. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent put the matter bluntly: “We are ending the days of hiding fraud, abuse, and extremist activity behind complicated nonprofit arrangements. When bad actors misuse charitable structures, directors and officers should understand that transparency can lead to scrutiny, accountability, and liability under the law.”

And I thought, you know, I’m not going to be around to actually see it, because I’ll serve two consecutive terms, and we all know what happened in 2020…” But the events ended up working out in an incredible way, she continued, with Trump serving a very rare second non-consecutive term,

The evidence continues to stack up that the U.S. intel community sought to downplay China's actions in 2020 as Trump sought reelection, perhaps at the cost of legal or ethical rules. CIA Director John Ratcliffe said that there was a “false impression that Russia sought to influence the election, but China did not.” Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has spurred an investigation into evidence that spy agencies tried to conceal U.S. election vulnerabilities, including whistle-blower claims that a CIA officer was asked to alter evidence of China meddling and that President Donald Trump and Congress were intentionally kept in the dark about concerns involving —

President Donald Trump on Wednesday unveiled the most significant update to the U.S. counterterrorism strategy since 9/11, creating new tools to fight growing leftist extremists like Antifa that are radicalizing Americans with a unique blend of Islamist and Marxist ideologies. Dr. Sebastian Gorka, the White House counterterrorism chief who crafted the 16-page strategy, told Just the News that major additions include anti-propaganda tools and follow-the-money penalties designed to neuter political violence inspired by overseas leftists. "The left has normalized violence or made it a permissible thing to do," Gorka said. "We're going to identify and neutralize the left-wing radicals like Antifa,

A federal judge appointed by President Joe Biden, with an activist past, last week blocked the Trump administration’s termination of protected status for Yemeni immigrants to the United States. Before serving on the bench, Judge Dale Ho of the Southern District of New York, who once jokingly said he has been caricatured as a “wild-eyed sort of leftist,” was a lawyer for both the American Civil Liberties Union and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, where he litigated against voter ID laws and against verification of citizenship for voter registration. On Friday, he temporarily halted the Department of Homeland Security from terminating the temporary legal status of about 3,000 Yemeni immigrants.

United States' National Transportation Safety Board report said a review of flight data supports the belief that a China Eastern flight deliberately crashed in China four years ago, killing all 132 people on board. The data was taken from the Boeing 737-800 passenger jet's flight data recorder, which was taken from the crash site in the remote Guangxi region of China and sent to Washington, D.C., for analysis. The U.S. is involved in the investigation because Boeing is an American company. The flight data showed that the fuel switches to both jet engines were moved from the run position to the cutoff position,

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis mockingly branded Zohran Mamdani one of his “realtors of the year” – predicting that New York City’s socialist mayor will continue to drive taxpayers out of New York City and down to the Sunshine State. DeSantis unleashed the scathing quips in a fireside chat on Monday at the 2026 Milken Institute Global Conference here. In a wide-ranging interview, the former 2024 GOP presidential candidate blasted soaring taxes and runaway spending in big cities like New York, Chicago and California. “I don’t think it’s good that, like, one guy gets elected mayor and then people feel like they have to flee the city,” DeSantis told me, referring to Mamdani.

Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) is already in a precarious position when it comes to keeping his seat in the upcoming midterm elections. His relationship with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) might make things even worse. Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings revealed that the SPLC contributed over $700,000 to his campaign during the 2020 race, according to Fox News. Oddly enough, this places Ossoff in the same category as the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacist groups whose leaders have received oodles of cash from the organization. Ossoff and the SPLC have a longstanding relationship.

The South Carolina House voted last night to open the door for redistricting in a special session a week from now. The measure still has to pass the South Carolina Senate; however, with the Indiana outcome at the forefront of their political future, the redistricting is more than likely. As a consequence, South Carolina Democrat James Clyburn is potentially going to lose his gerrymandered seat in congress. Given Clyburn’s stature as one of the key architects of the DNC ballot harvesting and election counting fraud via the AME Church network, Democrats are apoplectic.

Just days after the Volunteer State’s GOP-led legislature rammed through a new congressional map that ELIMINATES the state’s only Democrat-held and Black-majority seat, turning Tennessee into a solid 9-0 Republican delegation, a bombshell new “Crystal Ball” redistricting report is out, and it’s devastating news for Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and the entire crying, screaming Democrat Party. This comes on the heels of the Supreme Court nuking Louisiana’s illegal racial gerrymander and opening the floodgates for fair maps across the South.

This typically signals that a designated emergency team has been set up to handle hantavirus, the outlet reported. Epidemiologists, scientists, and physicians may be reassigned to monitor and assist with the disease response.

Gov. Gavin Newsom is rolling out a taxpayer-backed freebie for new parents, promising hundreds of diapers for every baby born in California under a new statewide program. The Democrat announced Friday that the state will partner with nonprofit Baby2Baby to hand out 400 free diapers to families leaving participating hospitals, starting this summer. The Virginia Supreme Court's ruling striking down Democrats’ costly redistricting push sparked an uproar on social media over the massive sum the party spent to pass the now-defunct congressional map. Virginians for Fair Elections, the main pro-redistricting group, raised north of $64 million in support of the Democratic-friendly gerrymander that could have netted the party four GOP-held seats in November’s midterm elections. Nearly $40 million of that came from an outside spending group aligned with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., who was heavily involved in the effort to redraw

The Virginia Supreme Court has struck down a congressional redistricting map approved by voters in a referendum last month, ruling that the Democratic-controlled Legislature failed to follow constitutional procedures when advancing the measure. The proposed map would likely have favored Democrats, giving them four additional congressional seats and creating a projected 10-to-1 advantage over Republicans in the state’s U.S. House delegation. The decision could strengthen Republican efforts to maintain control of the U.S. House of Representatives ahead of the midterm elections.

Which leads to the question of why we are learning about this only now. Daily Wire is releasing a five-part series that alleges massive fraud in an Ohio Medicaid program – a state that obtained a waiver so it could reimburse “home healthcare.”
