It happened again: a deranged leftist, Cole Allen, fueled by hate, came too close to assassinating President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on Saturday night. Allen, who lives in Torrance, California, is a 31-year-old teacher and video game developer. He charged at the security checkpoint, right outside the ballroom. Before being tackled, Allen fired shots, hitting one Secret Service agent, who will make a full recovery because he was wearing a bulletproof vest. Ironically, the dinner was held at the Washington Hilton, where President Ronald Reagan was seriously wounded by John Hinckley, Jr. on March 30, 1981. Allen is believed to have traveled to Washington, D.C. by train

Watch the video of Allen running past the perimeter guard. The guard steps out of the way to let him pass rather than blocking him or tripping him. Some 'guard'. The agent then pivots around and kneels, draws his gun. Can't tell if he fires. Very slow on the uptake. In any case, apparently several SS agents fired at Allen....nobody hit him. Not impressive. These clowns need a LOT more training.

Less than 24 hours after a gunman tried to breach the Washington Hilton during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the Department of Justice sent a blunt message to the lawyers blocking construction of the president’s proposed White House ballroom: drop the lawsuit, or the government will move to end it for you. The letter, dated April 26, was signed by Brett Shumate, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division, and addressed to Greg Craig of Foley Hoag LLP, outside counsel for the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Craig served as White House Counsel under Barack Obama and as Clinton’s personal defense lawyer during the 1990s impeachment proceedings.

The law enforcement reaction to the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting is getting a lot of scrutiny. One of the questions many seemed to have was: why was Vice President JD Vance rushed out of the room before President Donald Trump was? You can see that here, in a post from Fox's Jacqui Heinrich. [Tweet, video] Here's what White House correspondent for Diario ABC, David Alandete, said about the events. [Tweet, video] I was right there. I saw everything. The reason JD Vance left earlier through a different door from Trump's is that he was alone.

Said Jama Ahmed might not be walking the plank, but the Somali pirate definitely needs to be shipped out of our country. Ahmed, in fact, has a history with the U.S. military and federal immigration enforcement, as the Navy caught him committing piracy in the Gulf of Aden back in 2012, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) later caught him here in 2024 after he illegally entered our country. It appears authorities removed him, but he returned to try to enter America from the north instead of the south. Apparently, piracy wasn't the lucrative profession he thought it would be, so he decided to sneak into our country

It’s no secret that radical Islam is an insidious ideology that threatens the Judeo-Christian societal order. Not only are we dealing with an Islamist foe in Iran, but we can also see what is happening in places like the UK and other parts of Europe, where Muslims are running roughshod over society. The Islamists have their sights set on the U.S. as well. Witness Minnesota and Michigan, where pockets of Muslims are transforming their neighborhoods and cities. But Trump would not recoil. First he wanted to return to the White House Correspondents' Dinner before it was canceled, hoping to send a signal to a nation gripped by political vitriol and shaken by recent assassinations — from Charlie Kirk to Minnesota legislators – that “sick people” cannot “change the fabric” of the United States.

In the immediate aftermath following the apparent assassination attempt against President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday evening, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency was quick to question whether the shooting was staged. Tasnim, which has close ties with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), suggested that the shooting at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., as the Correspondents Dinner was commencing, may have been a “big show” intended to bolster President Trump’s approval ratings. The news agency speculated that it could have been staged to improve President Trump’s position ahead of the upcoming mid-term elections or perhaps to “use it against Iran or another country”.

Prominent voices on the left have been branding their opponents as Nazis, “literally Hitler,” pedophiles, or “a threat to democracy.” This inflammatory language dehumanizes entire groups, paints targets on people’s backs, erodes civil discourse, and creates a climate where violence is viewed as justifiable. When rhetoric escalates to open calls for harm, the consequences are deadly: attempted assassinations of President Trump, the 2017 shooting of Republican congressmen at baseball practice, the murder of Charlie Kirk, and assaults on pro-life activists. Leftists are normalizing the violence against Republicans. President Trump attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton last evening—
