Swalwell Goes Down

California Congressman Eric Swalwell is one of the most reprehensible people in public life. After years of ignominy in Washington, he is running for Governor of California. At least he was until today: his campaign may be over. Apart from the fact that he is a terrible human being and a far-left fanatic, Swalwell has a problem with women. Numerous women have now accused him of sexual harassment or worse. Of course, they could all be making it up. But California’s Democrats aren’t betting that way. Thus: As a Democrat, when you lose the teachers’ union, you have lost. But there is much more:

I heard the interview with the woman he supposedly raped, and I don’t believe her. I think the Democrats are lying about him to get rid of him from the governors race. I’m super happy that they’re getting rid of him, but maybe he won’t go down without a fight and the powers that are trying to take him down. Will also go down themselves.

#1 - Thanks for your review. I could not care less if she's lying for the Dem establishment. I'm sure it's just for convivence and taking control of the narrative. However, his history with Fang Fang does indicate a very indiscreet private life. The Dems can try to whittle down the numbers of occupants they have riding in our clown-show car of a jungle primary, but I don't think it will do much against Bianco and Hilton. My dream is both Republicans win the primary. The Dems will suddenly find many things wrong with the current "system", and we'll get back to individual party primaries. We will Make California Golden Again despite their best-of-the-worst efforts.

IMO calling him one of the the most reprehensible people in pubic life is a stretch. Certainly he is reprehensible, but just think. Schiff, Pelosi, Bernie, Nadler, Warren , Snakehead, Schumer, I can go on and on. Certainly he is one of these, and many others but is he in the top ten?

Swalwell is a LOSER. How nice. The number of dem LOSERs is so great it's becoming the defining attribute of the party. What do dems stand for? LOSING! Remember, THAT is why liberals are SOOOOOO ANGRY. They are losing. They keep casting about for issues and candidates that have lasting value to them and they find none. What Conservatives are fighting is mostly already entrenched Leftism on autopilot, especially in legal issues. But "dem leadership" and "dem good ideas" have become oxymorons.

Unlike past candidates who have been accused, the Dems quickly jumped onto the "he must resign" bandwagon. I will leave it to the readers to imagine the sequence of events if he were leading in the CA polls for governor.

I'm happy to hold their coats while they pile on Swalwell but the media and Democrat establishment responded quite differently to the credible allegation of sexual harassment against Biden in 2020. Then it was "no big deal even if it's true."

The Commies and Muslims may have wanted a more fanatical hardcore lefty, so they paved the way for them by manufacturing a scandal to get rid of Swalwell. This reminds of the Andrew Cuomo scandal. All sorts of women came forward but nothing ever actually happened.

It took 21 hours for the American negotiators in Islamabad to confirm what we’ve known about the regime in Iran for the last 47 years. The IRGC won’t ever negotiate in good faith. And this time, even J.D. Vance had enough. In a presser from Islamabad, the Vice President announced he would withdraw from talks after the Iranian regime refused to come off of their list of demands. Vance told reporters that he left our “best offer” on the table and said it would be up to Iran to figure it out. Well, this should make for a pleasant ice-breaker in Islamabad. Negotiating teams from the US and Iran had a meeting scheduled for the morning in Pakistan, in large part focused on Iran's pledge to allow unfettered traffic in the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for [checks notes] not getting bombed back to the Stone Age. Instead, Iran attempted to force shippers to pay exorbitant "tolls" in cryptocurrency while continuing to export its own oil. We'll get back to the opening session in a moment. The Artemis II astronauts safely splashed down off the coast of San Diego at 5:07 p.m. Friday after a historic 10-day mission around the moon, finally letting the crew and NASA officials breathe a sigh of relief. NASA regarded the high-energy reentry — streaking through the atmosphere in a nearly 5,000-degree-Fahrenheit fireball at more than 30 times the speed of sound — as one of the riskiest moments of the mission. Space agency officials’ blood pressure was further elevated as experts closely watched the performance of the craft’s heat shield — which astronauts rely on to slow them down and keep temperatures livable.

The Trump administration scored a significant appellate win on Friday with a 4th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling regarding DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) access to Social Security Administration (SSA) records. The appellate court, sitting en banc, vacated the preliminary injunction issued by Maryland District Court Judge Ellen Hollander in April of 2025 — a decision that blocked DOGE personnel from accessing sensitive SSA data. The Trump administration appealed that (district court) decision, even filing an application for stay with the Supreme Court when the 4th Circuit denied its motion for a stay pending appeal. That application was granted by the Supreme Court in June,

On Thursday, the Board of Immigration Appeals denied Khalil's appeal to drop his deportation case. A final order of removal has been issued. That, as the saying goes, would seem to be that. An immigration appeals board has denied Mahmoud Khalil’s latest bid to dismiss his deportation case, a largely expected ruling that brings the former Columbia University graduate student and Palestinian activist one step closer to re-arrest and possible expulsion. The Board of Immigration Appeals issued the final order of removal on Thursday, according to Khalil’s lawyers. The board’s rulings are not public,

That idea, of course, was lost long ago as the lust for “diversity” and “multiculturalism” overtook the political and media elites, but up until Old Joe Biden opened the floodgates to any sentient being that could be relied upon to vote Democrat, most Americans took for granted the idea that people who settled in this country should obey the existing laws.
