Trump scathingly destroys the Groyper

As is so often the case, the greatest threat to any institution comes from within. Currently, a Groyper movement—that is, a movement built on mindless isolationism, hardcore antisemitism, coy pro-Naziism and Islamism, huge pockets of misogyny, and a barely hidden dislike for America—is trying to co-opt MAGA and the Republican Party. Its leaders are podcast hosts Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones, all of whom once claimed to be straight-talking conservatives. Now, they just engage in crazy talk.

Like most of the sage and well-informed and down to Earth L.Dotters I only recently heard the coined term 'groypers'. It would appear to me to mean another more descriptive word "traitors" to the bedrock principles of American Conservatism misappropriated by those calling attention to THEMSELVES in an effort to subjugate power and influence AWAY from TRUE conservatism and its principles, and sadly, these individuals have SOLD THEIR SOULS for media influence and DO NOT represent Truth, Integrity or scruples for a civil society. The conservative values which are being attacked by these purveyors of discord: Liberty and rugged individualism and respect to agree or disagree with those who would attempt to turn things upside down with DISrespect for what constitutes a virtuous and valuable society based on families being protected from governmental abuses. Having sanity, order, and fidelity to the Rule of Law instead of individuals attempting to use control of media and policy to upend society turned against itself using the same tactics the demonrat socialist Marxists employ. Listen to their ideas, and then discard them as not having credence relying upon the lessons of history, indisputable FACTS and relying fully on TRUTH. Do not be fooled by them.

Don’t know much about what Alex Jones has been up to lately, but have strong opinions on the others. Hate-filled Candace and her bitter rhetoric (I’ve only heard about) are off-the-charts and vicious. And Megyn - that haughty little miss-know-it-all - is difficult to understand and/or watch! Now that loud, cackling Tucker is a sight to behold or listen to…yikes. These people are over the top with their self-serving rants and ravings. Glad I’m not forced to watch them.

Very disturbing, but many people seem to be catching on to their screeds. Add MTG to that group. Since she has quit Congress, after collecting her lifetime pension, she has been actively trying to burn down the party. What a gross woman.

From one of the commenters to this article on AT: Alex Jones is one conspiracy theory taco short of a Happy Meal, crazy old fat guys screaming on the airwaves is so last year, Megyn is an aging irrelevant ex cheerleader who thinks cussing like Megan Thee Stallion makes her hip when really it makes her look like a smelly bar fly in a dive bar. Candice Owens is a sick freak. Tucker is this generation’s Cat Stevens, I wonder when he converts to following the pedophile prophet. Maybe he’ll blow himself up live on the air.

The only person who can make ranting and raving work is Mark Levin because he does it for theatrical effect and every word is the truth. MAGA as a movement is the sane way that a country should be run and it will never be defeated in America. Criticized, ridiculed and opposed maybe but never defeated. I never bought into Megyn Kelly after her insane performance at the very first Trump debate and I give myself a pat on the head for seeing through her fake persona in the years afterward. Great Post, #1.

The "groypers" have been around, at least for a couple of decades. Anyone who witnessed what happened to Andrew Breitbart's site after he passed away and Steve Bannon took over and GamerGate blew up knew that there was a cadre of commenters that would FLOOD the site with their antisemitism and insanity such to the extent it was hard to see any other opinion express. They were worse than the lefties that showed up by sheer volume. That little group got more wind in their sails when Vox Day published his book and everyone ate it up. "Groyper" wasnt a term then but it was the same people. At first I thought it was just a bunch of venomous malcontents from the Storm Front sites, but it also felt like a concerted coordinated effort to overwhelm the conservative movements. I realized then there were going to be two fronts to fight in the future. Unfortunately, at the time this was all going on, any attempt to warn other conservatives was met with derision. "Oh youre just misrepresenting conservatives" and "that's leftist propaganda" and "that's a leftist label for us". No its a real thing. And now we see. Theyve gained enough attention and media power and social cred to finally pop out, thinking they have momentum. Thank you, President Trump, for speaking out!

Loose group of far-right activists and internet trolls The Groypers, or the Groyper Army, are a far-right group loosely defined as the followers, fans, or supporters of political activist and online streamer Nick Fuentes. They are named after a variant of Pepe the Frog, an Internet meme. Groypers have attempted to introduce their politics into mainstream conservatism in the United States by various means, and participated in the January 6 United States Capitol attack as well as the protests leading up to it More hee: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groypers I had never heard of them. We never heard of the name "groyper" before this weekend. We did see yesterday Patrick Bet-David's podcast where they were discussing President Trump's message on Truth Social. The panel had mixed opinions. Conclusion: It looks like President Trump was blowing off steam at the flying gnats coming at him. We don't listen to Tucker anymore. We did pay at the beginning for his podcast. As for Candace, she's been a bit off for years. And sadly, we liked Megyn Kelly and watched her podcast but once she was aligned with Candace, something happened to her and it was over. It sounds corny but we want Truth, Justice and the American way from these podcasters and we're not getting it. As for our house, we are MAGA come what may. We pray for President Trump and his cabinet daily for divine protection, safety, and God's guidance. This kerfuffle between Trump and his agitators is a battle between light and darkness, between good and evil. And we're on God's side.

Lotta good comments here but I wouldn't poopoo POTUS' calculation. The groypers are poison and need to be flushed down the toilet before the youth can ingest em. When your opinions make money, you may cultivate those opinions to keep that cash flow coming in. This is how good MAGA contributors go bad. They lose track of "First Things." That is why they need The Base, found here on Lcom and others, to keep em on track.

While Rep. Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D), whose handlers like to portray him as the next Barack Obama, is said to be a contender for the Democrat presidential nomination in 2028. Except Moore has a problem – his past seems to be already catching up with him. For a Democrat, that in itself is really a non-issue. If the party doesn’t want your past to catch up with you, it won’t.

Vance delivered the quick-hit update after 21 hours of grueling negotiations in Pakistan, noting meaningful discussions were held with Iran but none that brokered a deal on terms laid out by the US. “The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement,” Vance told reporters in Islamabad. “And I think that’s bad news for Iran much more than it’s bad news for the United States of America.

We were promised an absolute bloodbath. During the 2023 election in Argentina, politicians, academics, journalists, and commentators lined up to denounce populist candidate Javier Milei and his plans for “shock therapy,” symbolized by the chainsaw he had taken to brandishing ominously on the campaign trail while shouting, “¡Viva la libertad, carajo!” (“Long live liberty, damn it!”) Just days before Argentina went to the polls, more than a hundred economists, including superstar Thomas Piketty, published an open letter. They said a win for Milei would “inflict further devastation and social chaos” on a country that was already devastated and in chaos.

Things move fast in wartime, and the geopolitical situation in the Middle East might very well have shifted by the time this piece publishes. Nonetheless, Tuesday night’s ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States is a wonderful step in the right direction. It should be praised. Peace is a good thing. I have long maintained that war in the Middle East is not in America’s interest and that war with Iran would be unproductive and should be avoided. I want Donald Trump’s domestic agenda of strong immigration enforcement, law and order, and economic growth to succeed. War abroad detracts from those core issues.

Under those circumstances, you’d expect several examples of something comparable to “incredible corruption.” But would you expect nine paragraphs about a political figure? Bear with me. I am rereading the book, The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt (1979) by Edmund Morris. I’m halfway through the 800 page, Pulitzer Awarded masterpiece of writing.

The question is not whether Alinsky's thirteen tactics are morally defensible. The question is whether they worked for the constituencies they claimed to champion. The answer is no — and the data are not subtle. This is not merely a conservative grievance. It is a portfolio performance review. And the returns are dismal.
