A federal appeals court said Saturday that President Donald Trump can move ahead for another week with construction of a massive new White House ballroom while judges consider the project. The 2-1 order from the DC Circuit Court of Appeals is a temporary win for Trump in a protracted legal fight over whether he has the authority to build the ballroom on the site of the former East Wing without express approval from Congress. The appeals court said work on the project can continue until at least April 17.

re precedent: Historical records show that presidents have long undertaken White House alterations without prior Congressional approval for planning or minor changes, but major reconstructions have typically required Congressional funding and authorization; the most-cited precedent is the Truman Reconstruction (1949–1952), which began with executive action and later received Congress’s appropriation [1]. Contemporary debates over private-funded projects and new features such as a large East Wing ballroom echo past tensions between executive prerogative, Congressional oversight, and public scrutiny [2]. https://factually.co/fact-checks/politics/white-house-renovations-without-congressional-approval-b84662 Big dierence: The ballroom is not requiringngobernment funding.

Actually, turns out it was a President George W. Bush Inferior Court Black Robed Insurrectionist that ruled against Trump. Not really surprising. Anyone familiar with the synarchist or businessman's plot of the 30s - and the rumored involvement of Prescott Bush? Were the Bush's ever on our side? Or is the whole Federal government a constant battle between different groups of swamp creatures all of whom are dedicated to ruling and robbing us?

Haven't been keeping score, but it appears that Trump is doing quite well in the appellate courts. Be kind of nice if Thune would give him a hand an appoint a few more conservative judges, if it is not too much trouble.

The idea of the opponents is to use the courts to make the ballroom much more expensive than planned. Just like the way they use courts to make nuclear power so expensive. And plenty of other examples.

So if the courts rule in the end against finishing the “free” to the US taxpayers Trump designed ballroom, a big hole in the ground will remain at the East side of the White House, until after the next leftist Democrat President is elected and gets the Congress to appropriate hundreds of millions in taxpayers dollars to finish the job, of course after deals and kickbacks are made with leftist Democrat construction outfits.

The New York Times was heavily criticized Friday for a glaring error in a headline that clearly misstated the meaning of the acronym "NATO" as the "North American Treaty Organization" instead of the "North Atlantic Treaty Organization." The news outlet admitted that it was a mistake in a post on social media, stating it would run a correction Saturday. "A headline with an article on Friday about President Trump’s threats to leave NATO misstated the full name of the body," the outlet said. "It is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, not the North American Treaty Organization."
