Iran’s military threatened on Thursday to launch crushing and destructive attacks on the US after President Trump declared Operation Epic Fury an “overwhelming” victory in an address to the nation.
Tehran issued its fiery response after President Trump reiterated his intentions to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, branding the Islamic Republic “fanatical” and the “most violent and thuggish regime on Earth.”
“With trust in almighty God, this war will continue until your humiliation, disgrace, permanent and certain regret, and surrender,” Khatam Al-Anbiya, the military’s operational command, said in a statement aired on state TV.
“Await our more crushing, broader and more destructive actions.”

NATO members are not legally required to join any member’s military operations that are not formally sanctioned by the alliance or not aimed at protecting the homelands of the membership.
But they often do just that.
Some NATO members joined the Americans in Afghanistan and Iraq on the theory that, in the post-9/11 environment, the Taliban and Saddam Hussein were dangers to all Western security. They followed the precedent set by America’s 1999 intervention in the distant Balkans, leading a three-month NATO campaign to dismantle Slobodan Milošević’s often bloody ambitions of a Greater Serbia. The U.S. also joined the 2011 U.N.-approved, and French- and British-inspired,

President Donald Trump on Wednesday night delivered an address to the nation that achieved the legacy media headlines he needed to be displayed for the American people and made an unequivocal America-first declaration that the issues surrounding the Strait of Hormuz are not America's problem.
"We produce more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined," Trump said in a prime-time White House address. "And we're in great shape for the future. The U.S. imports almost no oil through the Hormuz Strait and won't be taking any in the future. We don't need it."

The makers of a documentary about the IRS whistleblowers who shined a light on the DOJ’s slow-walking of its Hunter Biden investigation say the ads to fund their film may be being “suppressed” by social media companies in a saga reminiscent of Big Tech’s censoring of stories about Joe Biden’s son in October 2020.
Tristan Leavitt, the president of Empower Oversight, which represented IRS supervisory special agent Gary Shapley and IRS special agent Joseph Ziegler in their efforts to share the truth about the deeply flawed federal inquiry into Hunter Biden. Leavitt told key Republican lawmakers on Wednesday that the documentary featuring Shapley,

Top Iranian officials denied President Trump’s claim that the regime begged for a cease-fire deal on Wednesday, insisting that Tehran is committed to winning the war.
A spokesperson for the office of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian rejected Trump’s post on Truth Social claiming that Tehran had reached out to Washington for a peace deal.
“The stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the defense of the homeland against the onslaught of the forces of evil and the conditions for ending the imposed war has undergone no change, and there is no regard whatsoever for the delusions and lies of the criminal aggressors,” Seyyed Mehdi Tabatabaei wrote on X.

In December of 2025, the FBI identified the alleged pipe bomber and conducted a search on his home, and arrested Brian Cole Jr., 30, of Woodbridge, Virginia, after a “fresh review” of old evidence. The FBI claimed they found evidence during the search that suggested Cole Jr. was the person responsible for placing the inert devices at the RNC and DNC Headquarters on the evening of January 5, 2021. Following his arrest, Cole, who is said to be autistic, sought bail in January 2026, but was denied by U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian Sharbaugh after Cole admitted to planting the bombs after hours of intense interrogation; however,

NASA successfully launched its Artemis II lunar mission Wednesday night, signaling the first moon mission since the space agency ended its Apollo missions over 50 years ago.
The mission marks the first time NASA astronauts have left Earth’s orbit since 1972 to embark on the roughly 685,000-mile journey aboard the Orion capsule and slingshot back for the return home.
Launch director Charlie Blackwell-Thompson told the Artemis crew that “the hopes and dreams of a new generation," are with them as they aim to reach a greater distance from Earth than anyone has before.
“On this historic mission, you take with you the heart of the Artemis team,

The possible destruction of the mullahs' regime in Iran would not merely represent a geopolitical victory; it would mark the dawn of an era in which the idea that all human societies must be governed by Allah's law and not by men could finally be escorted back to where it came from.
Of course not all Muslims are extremists. Many might even wish to leave Islam – if doing so were not regarded by their coreligionists as apostasy, punishable by death. As Qaradawi admitted on Egyptian television in 2013, "If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment [death], Islam would not exist today."

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., teamed up on a proposed moratorium on data centers. The measure would “enact a reasonable pause” in the development of such facilities.
Ocasio-Cortez said in an announcement on the bill that AI poses an “existential harm” to our society. The two lawmakers demand that “billionaire Big Tech oligarchs” not be allowed to harm health and safety, that AI should be developed for the benefit of workers and not the wealthy, and that data centers should not impact electricity costs.
The first two points tie socialist ideals to topical concerns, which was the same strategy the pair used to advance the—

Colorado was cruising for a judicial bruising when it struggled to defend its ban on so-called conversion therapy for minors at the Supreme Court last fall, with several justices skeptical of its last-ditch argument that plaintiff and licensed counselor Kaley Chiles didn't actually violate the law with her talk therapy for kids struggling with gender identity and sexual orientation.
That bruising came down Tuesday in the form of an 8-1 ruling against the law, with only Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson dissenting, in a worrying sign for similar bans in half the states but also for red states that might try to ban so-called gender affirming counseling.

NYC mayor under fire from anti-Semitism opponents after celebrating Ramadan with pro-Hamas activists Zohran Mamdani is struggling to distance himself from a variety of anti-Semitism scandals involving himself, his wife, and members of his staff.
Maybe this will help. The New York City mayor is expected to attend a Passover Seder on Monday with Don Lemon, the disgraced former CNN host who was arrested earlier this year for storming a church in Minnesota, and a drag queen rabbi devoted to fighting "patriarchy."
Lemon will chant the traditional Four Questions at the Seder—

The president added in a Monday morning Truth Social post that the Iran regime must open the Strait of Hormuz or face military consequences President Donald Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Monday that his administration is negotiating with "A NEW, AND MORE REASONABLE, REGIME" in Iran but that he is prepared to destroy the Islamic Republic's oil, gas, and electrical infrastructure if it does not reach a ceasefire deal with the United States soon.
