The Politicking of Barack Obama replies

Do you remember most poignantly when he told supporters of Kamala Harris, don’t dare, you don’t know what’s good for you. Don’t dare vote for basically a white racist like Donald Trump when you could empower a black woman. That didn’t go over very well, but he has a long history of that. Before I continue, though, the Democrats have a long history of using the venue of the funeral memorial service to hijack it and use it for political purposes. In 2002, they did that with the late Sen. Paul Wellstone, and what should have been a memorial service turned into a four-hour campaign harangue.

The radical left’s desperate, decade-long smear campaign against President Donald Trump has just been obliterated once and for all. Richard Kahn, a co-executor of Epstein’s estate and the financier’s longtime accountant, appeared before the House Oversight Committee where he answered questions about Epstein’s complex financial empire and the powerful figures connected to it. According to Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY), Kahn’s testimony delivered a key revelation: he saw no financial transactions involving President Donald Trump or any member of Trump’s family. Kahn has now become the FIFTH high-profile witness to testify under oath that Trump and his family had ZERO involvement with the convicted pedophile’s financial dealings.

Newly released financial filings reveal that there are a lot of people making an absolute fortune off the Obama Foundation. Anyone who remembers the massive grift at the Clinton Foundation might feel like they’re taking a walk down memory lane. Valerie Jarrett, a former Obama White House player who was central to his presidency, was making a cool $740,000 per year running the foundation. That’s more than the President of the United States makes in a year. Other figures were also pulling in huge six-figure salaries and the number of employees has ballooned to more than 300 people.

On Monday, after hosting the historic first Shield of the Americas Summit in Doral, Fla., Donald Trump stopped by a Venezuelan restaurant, El Arepazo, on his way to the airport to fly back to Washington, D.C. He was greeted with cheers and applause and chants of "Trump!" and "USA!" The crowd loved him, as they often do during these types of appearances, but this one was, potentially, a bit more meaningful. Sometimes referred to as "Dorazuela," the city of Doral has one of the largest Venezuelan diaspora communities in the United States. The president owns a hotel here —

President Donald Trump has repeatedly argued that the Iranian regime bears some responsibility for the terrorist suicide bombing of the USS Cole in 2000. The president has gotten pushback from some in the press, but a federal judge has repeatedly agreed with him. In an oft-forgotten terror attack, al-Qaeda terrorists bombed the U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Cole in October 2000 — less than a year before 9/11 — killing 17 U.S. sailors and wounding dozens more. Abd al Rahim Hussayn Muhammad al Nashiri was a top associate of Osama bin Laden and the alleged mastermind of the attack against the U.S. naval ship —

Now that the Virginia General Assembly has passed what it calls “assault weapon ban” legislation, all that’s needed is for Gov. Abigail Spanberger to sign it into law, which is all but a given. Once signed, Senate Bill 749 will likely take effect as soon as July 1, 2026. The law will ban the sale, import, manufacture, purchase, and transfer of what it describes as “assault firearms,” and it will treat high-capacity magazines that can hold 15 rounds or more in the same way. It will make any violations of the law a “Class 1 misdemeanor,” which could mean up to a year in jail and a $2,500

Former first lady Jill Biden announced she will publish a memoir this summer about her time in the White House, including reflections on the end of her husband Joe Biden’s presidency and his decision not to seek re-election. In a video posted to Instagram, Biden stated: I entered the role of first lady in a unique time in our nation’s history, in the midst of a pandemic and the shadow of an insurrection. Those days tested all of us—our resilience, our compassion, and our belief in one another—but we persevered. Serving in the historic East Wing was the honor of my life.

A dark money group of left-wing environmental activists has been quietly "training" judges overseeing climate-related lawsuits, hosting them at multi-day, all-expenses-paid seminars in locales like Napa Valley and Palm Beach. Judges who attend these luxury retreats—where they are subject to indoctrination—are not required to report them in ethics disclosures. At the "Judicial Leaders in Climate Science" seminars, representatives of the activist group, the Climate Judiciary Project, present to the judges contested claims on climate and other environmental issues as settled, scientific fact. Judges who attend the seminars are also expected to make a year-long commitment to participate in CJP events, take online classes, and, perhaps most importantly, help identify and recruit

Rep. Kevin Kiley's, Calif., departure from the GOP this week has further narrowed the party's majority in the lower chamber and has him thinking that some lawmakers may follow his lead and create an independent block in Congress, or even a third party. Kiley formally left the GOP this week and became an independent, though he continues to caucus with the GOP. He previously announced his intent to seek reelection as an independent instead of as a Republican. The move followed California Democrats redrawing his congressional district to heavily favor their party.

The former FBI agent who ran the bureau’s warrantless spying program said this week that he personally witnessed the director and other senior officials recruiting agents based on political leanings, not qualifications, during Director James Comey’s tenure. Bassem Youssef, a retired special agent who ran the FBI’s Communications Analysis Unit from late 2004 until his retirement in late 2014, also says he warned senior officials about the potential for civil liberties abuses in the surveillance program that he oversaw, but said neither Comey nor the White House took his warnings seriously.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., says putting the SAVE America Act on the Senate floor for a “one-and-done” vote, as seemingly suggested by Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., would be a “disastrous” failure. “We ignore our base at our own peril, and we don’t want to dispirit our base,” Johnson said. “And right now, that’s kind of the path we’re going on.” After an enormous amount of pressure from the Republican base and the White House, Thune announced this week that he plans to bring the SAVE America Act up for a floor vote. The legislation would require voter ID and proof of American citizenship to register to vote.

Iran could use drones to make a deadly strike on California at any time, a top US Army expert says — and we’re nowhere near ready for what could happen. Iranian forces have the technology, the ability and the motivation to launch withering drone attacks on targets in California, according to Brett Velicovich, a former US Army intelligence and special operations soldier who spent years using drones to hunt and kill the leaders of ISIS and other terrorist groups. Velicovich said America’s enemy is almost certainly trying to launch an attack on Californian shores with the use of drones. The FBI’s warning to local law enforcement,

The Trump administration has been involved in a months long fight with the University of Pennsylvania. It began when the Trump EEOC asked the university for a list of employees who had experienced anti-Semitism on campus. The school refused and the Trump administration sued to get the information last November. The administration sued the university on Tuesday, arguing that the Ivy League institution has “refused to comply” with a subpoena from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which is investigating antisemitism on the Philadelphia campus. The subpoena seeks contact information for employees who have filed complaints about discrimination based on Jewish faith,

And by "shocking," I mean in a good way. It's been so long since we've seen real journalism and the actual speaking of truth to power that it's almost difficult to process. BBC presenter Laura Kuenssberg sat down with Iran's ambassador to the UK to discuss the war as well as what preceded it, as Ali Mousavi learned to his surprise and displeasure. Kuenssberg started off by noting that "your country is under attack," but almost immediately pressed Mousavi to explain the massacre of civilian protesters. Mousavi seemed initially stunned by the question, attempted to deflect the blame

Will a payroll crisis impact the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the middle of a war and a currency collapse? Either the US or Israel has decided to find out. Earlier today, one or both of the forces targeted the data center that serves the IRGC's bank. The strike came after Iran threatened banking centers in neighboring states, but it's not clear whether this strike is a direct response to that threat. The hit on the Bank Sepah data center will disrupt payrolls for the rank and file, who may not be terribly inclined to fight much longer anyway: The data center of Iran's state-run Bank Sepah was hit

Huge gas lines have been reported in China this week, and Hong Kong residents are joining the logjams by rushing across the border to fill their tanks, as the threat looms of price increases or shortages from the Iran war. The gas-hungry drivers were not overreacting based on mere rumors, as the Chinese government officially announced major price increases for fuel would take effect on Tuesday. Beijing sets floors and ceilings for gas prices, and on Tuesday it raised the ceiling for retail gasoline prices by a little over $100 per metric ton, the highest increase in four years. China has rules about selling off existing retail inventories of gasoline before
