The U.S. Air Force updated its physical fitness program and score charts for the fitness tests to boost the long-term health of airmen. The modernized program utilizes a more thorough assessment model to strengthen warfighter readiness by motivating airmen to build more sustainable fitness habits for the duration of their careers, according to a Feb. 27 release. “This update is not just about increasing the physical fitness test standards; it’s about ensuring our warfighters are fit, ready, and prioritizing their long-term health,” Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Ken Wilsbach said in the memo.

Went through at least a half dozen of these. They raise the standards when they want to get rid of people, and lower them when they want to keep them in. The Air Force must have too many people right now. One thing is certain...the AF's love of the newest greatest thing will exist only as long as the virtue signaling ideologue who implemented it stays in the position to keep it alive. Remember TQM?

re #4, the USAF doesn't seem to have any "excess people". A niece was granted early out after four years in USAF when she got married and got pregnant, and requested early separation in compliance with then-standard policy. It was approved and she was planning everything out when the approved exit paperwork was pulled in and cancelled. This was three years ago under Biden. She is now on terminal leave after serving out her full enlistment term.

Among us AF grease monkeys TQM stood for "To Quote McPeak". If you didnt cross yourself before its altar daily your career was in question. Same with equal opportunity. They both required a line in the annual APR/EPR or no promotions.

Six U.S. airmen are safe after Kuwaiti air defenses mistakenly shot down three fighter jets during combat with Iran on Sunday, U.S. Central Command said. CENTCOM said three U.S. F-15E Strike Eagles were engaging Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles and drones at around 7 p.m. local time when they were hit by friendly fire. All six aircrew ejected safely, the command said in a statement Monday. “Kuwait has acknowledged this incident, and we are grateful for the efforts of the Kuwaiti defense forces and their support in this ongoing operation,” the statement read.

U.S. Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn was a favorite for gold in the ladies’ singles competition in Milan Cortina, until she wasn’t. Though Glenn looked sharp as she opened her highly difficult short program, she committed a small but fateful error in her final jump of the night. To a casual fan, Glenn had done nothing wrong. She completed the third and final jump in her skate, landing cleanly without a fall. But for those with an understanding of the sport’s requirements, Glenn’s mistake was devastating. It would likely cost her an Olympic medal.

I have taught college sophomores whose knowledge of the Constitution’s basic principles far exceeds that of Jackson. During oral arguments Monday in a case involving fired Federal Trade Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter, Jackson peddled two grotesque lies, one of which showcased her own unconstitutional doctrine regarding so-called “experts” in the federal bureaucracy.

This week he was arrested yet again for two violent attacks that occurred in June.

Kamala Harris is back once again with an extremely interesting new angle on her 2024 election failure. Not too terribly long ago, Harris told Stephen Colbert she was stepping away from politics because the "system is broken" — only to tease a 2028 run at the end of October.

Texas state Rep. James Talarico secured a victory over Rep. A University of Texas at Tyler poll conducted Feb. 13–22 surveyed 1,117 registered voters and 959 likely voters and found Crockett with 55 percent support compared to Talarico’s 37 percent, outside the poll’s 3.2-point margin of error

The failed transportation secretary has the gift of being acceptable to both the Democrat Party’s leftist establishment and power-to-the-people-right-on-let’s-burn-the-house-down wing, and while there really isn’t a dime’s worth of difference ideologically between the two factions, that’s still an unusual accomplishment. The attack left at least 101 people missing, one dead and 78 injured, sources in Sri Lanka’s navy and defense ministry told Reuters. The IRIS Dena frigate was armed with heavy guns, surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship missiles and torpedoes and could carry a helicopter. The 180-crew frigate had issued a distress call at dawn. “An American submarine sunk an Iranian warship that thought it was safe in international waters. Instead, it was sunk by a torpedo,”

Jasmine Crockett didn’t simply lose her Senate primary. She staged a slow-motion meltdown on the way out the door, complete with preemptive claims of cheating and “disenfranchisement,” long before the votes were even done being counted. Early Tuesday evening, while ballots were still being tallied across 254 Texas counties, Crockett started laying the groundwork for an excuse. She told supporters there had been “a lot of confusion” in Dallas County. She insisted that “people have been disenfranchised,” blaming Republicans for supposedly targeting Dallas and hinting darkly at votes that might not count. Then she left her own watch party early and told the crowd not to expect results that night,
