In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me: As he died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,– Julia Ward Howe, Battle Hymn of the Republic
The anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday was February 12. Since we now celebrate Presidents’ Day in memory of all our deceased presidents, Americans did not pause for a moment to remember Lincoln. This is very sad, given what Lincoln said that nullifies our contemporary outpouring of anti-White racism.

We are becoming gutless and uninspired.(Snip)How did we get to such a sickening array of missteps and confused values? To understand this quality-of-life decline, we must turn our historical telescope back in time to the early twentieth century, and in particular to the administration of Pres. Woodrow Wilson. During his administration, we see the passage of a federal income tax amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank, and the passage of the Clayton Antitrust Act (I almost typed “Antitruth Act”).The income tax became a giant step toward socialism

Kathy Ruemmler, Goldman Sachs' top attorney, is leaving due to her ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the late New York financier and convicted child predator, who was found dead in his cell in August 2019. Numerous files and communications related to this man have been released. This development is unwelcome, especially to Democrats, who were hoping to find incriminating evidence to use against Donald Trump. However, these emails have mostly cast Democrats and their allies in a negative light, with Ruemmler being the latest example.

Reps. Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna may have gotten themselves into hot water after falsely accusing four men of being tied to the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein in front of Congress.(snip)The pair claimed that four names, which the Department of Justice redacted in the release of the files, were “powerful men” engaged in connected to Epstein, but those men were simply randomly selected for a police line up and had zero real connection to the case.
Massive and Khanna claim that the fault in the false accusations lies with Department of Justice officials, stating that the DOJ “illegally redacted names without explanation and then refused to give context

WASHINGTON — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has a clear lead in the Lone Star State’s Senate Republican primary over incumbent John Cornyn — putting the two on a collision course for a May runoff, according to a new poll commissioned by Paxton’s principal campaign committee.
The Pulse Decision Science survey found that 36% of likely GOP primary voters support Paxton, 27% back Cornyn and 15% prefer Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas). Another 22% said they were undecided about who to support.
Early voting for the March 3 primary starts next week, with a runoff between the top two candidates set for May 26 if no contender gets above 50%.

Chaos erupted Thursday at a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee oversight hearing when Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley confronted Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison over the astounding levels of fraud uncovered in the state just months ago. During the contentious exchange, Hawley accused Ellison of blatant corruption, alleging he worked with individuals later convicted in the scandal to shield them from investigators, and accepted a $10,000 campaign contribution from them just nine days after pledging to assist their cause.

Well, Bad Bunny ended up not wearing a dress during yesterday's Super Bowl halftime show. We have to wonder if Roger Goodell or someone in the NFL put the kibosh on that plan, especially after Goodell said the program wouldn't be political. President Trump slammed the show as "terrible" and "one of the worst." Meanwhile, the TPUSA alternative show attracted tens of millions of views so far. TMZ put up a poll last night asking which show was better, and it's not going well for them.(snip) "Estimates show that over 20 million watched the alternative halftime show. That's a huge chunk of the captive audience walking away,"

Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) has positioned himself as a firebrand when it comes to exposing the Epstein files, and he now has a chance to prove it's not just partisan grandstanding. Following the release of more information on Monday, his fellow party member, Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI), has been further implicated in the scandal. According to multiple emails, she used a pseudonym to solicit funding from Epstein for a "new voter file" that would help her win elections in the Virgin Islands. (Snip) Plaskett had a full-blown relationship with him, up to and including letting him dictate congressional hearings

Among the people running to fill the seat vacated by former GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of her former staffers, Jim Tully. Introducing himself on a local conservative radio show in January, he didn’t mention his connection to Greene until asked by the host.(snip)There’s a clear pattern in how the Republicans running to replace Greene address her resignation and her split with President Donald Trump. Those who are better known due to their prior involvement with local GOP politics strike a balance between showing loyalty to Trump and respect to Greene, while newcomers have less hesitation about taking shots at her.

Rep. Mark Amodei (R-NV) announced on Friday his retirement from Congress, making him the 30th House Republican not running for reelection this year. Amodei said in a statement that it is the “right time” for him to end his time in the House. He’ll finish his current term before moving on from public service. He’s served in the House since 2011, and he sits on the House Appropriations Committee, House Natural Resources Committee, and multiple subcommittees.(snip) Twenty-one Democrats are also not seeking reelection, putting Congress on track for potentially record turnover.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump celebrated the return of faith in the United States at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning.
