Progressive Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman (D) on Saturday made a last-minute bid to challenge Mayor Karen Bass (D) in the June primary election.

The news was first reported by Axios, which said the summit would be held at the rebranded Institute of Peace and serve as an opportunity to raise money for reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.

The violence and size of the anti-ICE riots in Minnesota took federal officials by surprise. But maybe they shouldn’t be shocked. As it turns out, and as is often the case when it comes to far-left demonstrations, outside money, organizations and foreign influence are firing the revolt .

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito may have just dropped a hint about his retirement, and it could be as soon as July.
According to the far-left The Nation magazine, Alito is planning to publish his upcoming book, So Ordered: An Originalist’s View of the Constitution, the Court, and the Country, on October 6th of this year.

Let’s get something out of the way: the post should never have been made, and whoever was responsible was careless for not previewing the entire video first.

Dems have been calling for ICE body cameras, but as I noted a few days ago "Body cameras have far more consistently proven that law enforcement acted correctly than otherwise (snip.)" Now, the Dems are pivoting to warning about the dangers of ICE body cameras "A push to put body cameras on all ICE agents has Democrats running into a new problem: fear that the technology will provide another avenue for mass surveillance of protesters." (snip) What they really mean is that having footage of their riots on cameras would be bad for their rioters who are also their activist base.
