Slouching Toward Fort Sumter?

Original Article

In the months before the April 12, 1861, firing on Fort Sumter, there were sharp divisions in the North about the proper reaction to the first seven states that had already left the Union. (snip) Something similar is emerging over Minnesota (snip.) Governor Walz, Mayor Frey, and Attorney General Ellison are actively encouraging Minnesotans to obstruct federal officers (snip.) They view as a political asset millions of arriving poor in dire need of massive federal (snip) subsidies and entitlements (snip.) They still cherish the months of riots (snip) in the George Floyd "summer of love" in 2020 as critical in defeating Donald Trump.

Frey BARELY won in December by a few hundred votes using RANKED CHOICE ballots! he had to split the somali voters to win! most Minnesotans are waiting for DJT to arrest these carpetbagging criminals none of them are from here....

As usual Dr. Hanson has it right. His personnel knowledge of mass uncontrolled illegal immigration is based upon him living in the agricultural area of central California and watching how illegal immigration has affected that area..

Abraham Lincoln gave South Carolina his word that the Forts in Charleston would be left alone until after the big Peace conference. But Abner Doubleday and several other Union Officers occupied and burned Fort Moultrie. Then, they occupied Fort Sumter. But the Charleston battery took them under fire before they destroyed the Fort. Btw, yes. It was that Abner Doubleday.

One small correction. There are closer to 60 million illegals in the US, not the 11 million the professor states. Many of them illegally vote, and the others provide warm bodies for ballot harvesting. They all steal jobs from Americans, along with their graft.

Yes, it's easy for illegals to vote in California. First off, the state will issue driver's licenses to ANYONE, don't have to be a California resident. Once you go in to get your phony license, the driver test is multiple-guess on a PC. In case you don't know how to read or write, a DMV 'assistant' will set next to you and point out the correct answer for you to click. Then on your way out, they register you to vote (the assistant will help you fill out the form, heh-heh). And when you go to vote, it is ILLEGAL for anyone to ask you for ID. And during Covid (which went on much longer than other places), they insisted on mail-in ballots (we ignored them and voted in-person) and they sent us 3 ballots every time. Probably didn't notice that we were Republicans.

Brilliant, as is everything that VDH publishes. He identifies the real culprit in this conflict, federal money going to Minnesota in staggering amounts. Cutting it off completely would end this confrontation faster than digging out the illegal alien criminals. If the Somalis had stolen this money quietly, avoiding the large homes and expensive cars, it could have gone on for many more years but, like our domestic organized criminals, they could not resist the temptation to flash their good fortune in public. It must be stopped if we are to continue to hold America up to the standard that we expect. If we have to break a few heads, or as VDH says, suffer through another Fort Sumter, it's better to get it over now while we still have a choice. This planet already has enough failed countries that created their own demise. America is too young to die.
