As most know by now, Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” global warming propaganda film turned 20 a few days ago. It won a couple of Oscars in 2007, one for best documentary. The latter should be returned. The movie was filled with errors. Exalting the celluloid screed with an Academy Award for best documentary is the equivalent of handing the Nobel Peace Prize to a terrorist, an incompetent, a fraud, an unaccomplished charlatan, and, yes, Gore himself, because it was far more a faux-umentary than an honest account of the facts. Another billionaire, this time Mark Zuckerberg, has fled the Golden State. There are still plenty left. But the trickle could quickly turn into a flood if voters and lawmakers continue to punish the rich. At what point, one wonders, will it be too late for the state to abandon the path to destruction that it chose to take many years ago?

The latest jobs report had good news for the country, but terrible news for the party of Big Government.
In January, the economy added 172,000 private sector jobs, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which was better than economists had expected (which seems to be a running theme in the Trump administration). And the unemployment rate ticked down to 4.3%.
So, what’s the bad news for Democrats? The number of federal government jobs shrank by 32,000.

It’s not sad in the least that the Washington Post has cut its climate “reporting” team down to five lonely reporters. It is, in fact, encouraging that maybe we’re seeing the winding down of decades of political and scientific villainy disguised as concern for our planet. Give us more, please.

When Stellantis last week announced it was writing down $26 billion, the CEO of the car company that now owns Chrysler, Antonio Filosa, said it was “part of a decisive process we started in 2025 to once again make our customers and their preferences our guiding star.”
Which begs the question: What was Stellantis’ guiding star before if not its own customers?

But, as a major U.S.-Russia nuclear weapons agreement expires and nuclear talks with Iran continue, most Americans show real concern about the threat of nuclear war, the latest I&I/TIPP poll shows.
For the February poll, I&I/TIPP asked four questions related to the nuclear threat. The first asked: “How concerned are you about the risk of nuclear conflict involving the United States, Russia, or China?”
By 2-to-1, or 62% to 31%, Americans said

“In their campaigns, Democrats across the country are responding to the anger felt by many communities over the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement operations,” reports CBS News. Californians have a right to be angry about Minnesota. It’s getting all the federal government attention for its illegal immigration, street violence, fraud and graft when California, in fact, is the king of all those civic sins.
Yes, Minnesota and its lead city, Minneapolis, are impressive in the scale of fraud, estimated currently at billions of dollars, according to the Cato Institute’s recent “Fraud Update.” Not bad for a blue state, especially one with just 5.8 million people.
But let’s be honest. Minnesota’s inhabitants are mere pikers compared to those in the Golden State. There, the level of fraud and corruption, immigrant and otherwise, has reached shocking levels.

Love him or hate him, President Donald Trump’s favorability ratings have plateaued in recent months, despite violent demonstrations in major cities, the possibility of military action against Iran, and continuing concerns among Americans about “affordability,” February’s I&I/TIPP Poll data show.
Each month, I&I/TIPP asks voters questions about presidential leadership, the first being: “Overall, is your opinion of Donald Trump generally favorable, generally unfavorable, or are you not familiar enough to say one way or the other?”
This month’s online national poll, taken by 1,384 voters, showed virtually no change overall:

Mathis Roy Vigne, an advance man for the new leader of the city, used his X profile to berate workers from various airlines, the Washington Free Beacon reports.
The complaints ranged from ranting about airline staff over his business class seats and lounge access and for allegedly failing to serve him a drink.

Shapiro signed a bill requiring a cursive handwriting curriculum in all Pennsylvania public schools, Wednesday. The bill, introduced by Republican Pennsylvania Rep. Dane Watro, was co-sponsored by three Democrats and fifteen Republicans. “I’m definitely rusty, but I think my penmanship was okay!” Shapiro’s office wrote on Facebook, posting a photo of Shapiro’s cursive signature.

A San Diego children’s hospital has been ordered to continue providing gender-affirming care to minors —despite a previous effort from the hospital to end the programs to save its federal funding.
Rady Children’s Health must continue providing the care, which includes therapies like puberty-blockers and hormone treatments, to patients under 19 until at least March 10, in a ruling from San Diego Superior Court Judge Matthew Braner Wednesday.
The decision comes amid a heated legal fight between the hospital and the California Attorney General’s Office. The AJ sued Rady after it announced it would stop offering the treatments and procedures.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was ridiculed on social media Thursday after he proposed providing small businesses “feeling the effects” of President Trump’s immigration crackdown with a $10 million “relief package.”
Walz’s proposal would provide forgivable loans ranging from $2,500 to $25,000 to Minnesota businesses that can “demonstrate substantial revenue loss during specified dates” tied to Operation Metro Surge, according to the Democratic governor’s office.
